The loft is located in an old factory built in 1931 with soaring high ceilings and large factory windows, which gives it a very unique feeling. It features an interesting build out within, years of different residents here have left their mark on the space, as have I as well. These contributions over the years lends themselves to a very creative and playful atmosphere. I've filled it with green living things, beautiful textures, and wooden things - it's the Brooklyn loft home of my dreams, a place where I work (currently working on an album) rest and commune. Bushwick is a predominantly south/central american / puerto rican neighborhood, with an emerging presence of artists and young professionals from all over the world, which is shaping the neighborhood in new ways. We have many cafes, vintage shops, bars, street vendors, clubs, restaurants, galleries, vinyl record shops - really, you name it, all within walking distance. If you want to feel the real creative energy New York City has to offer, this is the neighborhood where everything is happening in the most dynamic way. For green space, Maria Hernandez Park is just a few blocks away and it's full of life, trees, and locals hanging out and having a good time. House of Yes is a super fun place to catch a unique show or dance party. Roberta's is a world-famous pizza place a short walk from my apartment. Cafe Bunna is a fun all-vegan Ethiopian restaurant and venue nearby.

When I'm in town, I live, practice, and work out of this lovely sunny space and I like to keep busy, splitting my time between music, yoga, meditation, study, and work out in the city. My roommate Shiho is from Tokyo and is a yoga instructor.

My place is a 3 minute walk to the Knickerbocker M stop and an 8 minute walk to the Dekalb L stop. The L is notoriously fast and connects you to Williamsburg and all of Manhattan. It's a very convenient train line that runs 24 hours a day. The M train at the Knickerbocker stop is currently under maintenance and is therefore not currently running, but the L train leaves you fully connected to the city and getting around shouldn't be a problem.
