Esther and Robert made us feel welcome from the first moment that we arrived at the flat! They were really kind and helpful during our stay in Barcelona! Esther contacted us 1 day before arrival and explained the way from the train station to their apartment. Our private bathroom was fully equipped. The neighborhood was calm (which I really appreciated), but nonetheless the flat was located perfectly for exploring the city. Both hosts always were available for questions and we also sometimes sat together and had nice conversations! I can really recommend staying at their place!!

Jun 27, 2019Nice and quiet place. Very kind, pleasant and helpful people. Not big but big enough for a pleasant stay. Private bathroom attached is clean and useful. Metro is just 50m away. Lots of places for breakfast in the street. No sounds from the city in the room. realy can recommend it.
Jun 27, 2019Ester and Robert were very welcoming and accommodated all our needs including laundry and storing luggage. We enjoyed their company. The private bathroom was great however the room was quite small and the bed is not a double bed as we expected but a single with a trundle underneath that one slides out to accommodate the second person. The location, very near Poble Sec, was excellent and overall it was great value.

L'appartement est bien situé et au calme, la chambre n'est pas très grande mais la salle de bains privative est un vrai plus. je conseille ce logement.

Jun 27, 2019Esther und Robert haben sich sehr bei allen Wünschen um eine Lösung bemüht. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein und wirkt abgewohnt. Fenster nur zum Lichtschacht. Für den Preis kann man nicht mehr erwarten. Die Lage ist gut.

Jun 27, 2019У дома хорошое расположение. Все в пешей доступности. Метро в 3 минутах от дома. Кафе есть прям у дома. Хозяин очень отзывчивый. В любое время рад ответить на все ваши вопросы, прийти на помощь. Комната и ванная были чистыми и хорошо подготовленными. Лишь один минус - у нашей комнаты окно было во внутренний колодец дома и как следствие мы слышали всех соседей. Шум - единственный минус данного жилья.
Jun 27, 2019Esther y Robert son encantadores, tienen la mejor predisposición y trato a la hora de consultarles algo. El apartamento está bien ubicado, carca de una parada de metro (Poble sec) que conecta con los puntos más importantes de la ciudad en sólo minutos. No es un apartamento muy amplio, pero sí en buenas condiciones. Ideal para descansar y salir a recorrer la ciudad.
Jun 27, 2019The building is very noisy. The private room has a window that is combined with the outside which makes it extremely easy to listen to your neighbors. Las Ramblas is about a 25-30 minute walk, not necessarily close to the apartment. Our check out time was 11am yet they told us to leave at 9:30 because people were on their way to come to our room. They gave us a feeling that they just wanted the money, they charge 25 euros to get driven back and fourth from the airport but if you choose to stay at this house I would suggest to take the bus for 2.15 euros per person instead. Other than the stay, Barcelona is a beautiful city and i can't wait to come back to visit.

Jun 27, 2019We spent 2 days in Esther's apartment. It's in a nice part of town (plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars very nearby) and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Esther and her partner were very sweet and helpful - we had a lovely stay in Barcelona. Cheers guys! Steve
Jun 27, 2019Esther and Robert were so kind, helpful and welcoming. One of them is always available. The area is fairly close to the Ramblas but has a great choice of local bars and restaurants that are not as expensive! Also a short walk to the light show in Plaza Espanya which was amazing. Loved our stay at Barcelona and many thanks for being wonderful hosts. Chris and Scarlett.

Jun 27, 2019To be completely honest, our stay wasn't a good one. Checking in was no issue, but the room was incredibly small and was blazing hot. We were offered 1 fan that was pretty useless. Secondly, after our 2nd night, we were threatened to be removed from the apartment due to "noise". Our first night consisted of soft music played low on our phones and our 2nd night's noise was a quiet phone conversation, which was interrupted by a loud bang at the door from I Esther. We essentially had to not make a single noise on our 3rd night to ensure we would remain in the apartment. I get that everyone has annoying neighbors who will complain about most things, but if that's the case, either let us know well in advance, or don't post your place on airbnb. Don't wait until the neighbors to put pressure on you to the point where you tell your guests they can't come back into the apartment and have to make other plans. Also, take it from someone who's lived in Barcelona, this is certainly not the "most cool area." Easy access to Placa Espanya is great, but for a more enjoyable time you would want to stay further into Eixample. Nonetheless, they don't seem like bad people, just on edge because Barcelona doesn't like airbnb.

Jun 27, 2019Esther and Robert were fantastic hosts - they were friendly and helpful every single day, and also gave us the space necessary to enjoy our downtime at the Airbnb. The place had everything we needed for a short trip in Barcelona, and the location was perfect - close to the Metro, buses, and an easy walk away from many of the attractions. Would recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Accurate as described, bed was comfortable and had private bathroom, wifi was good. Clearly some issues with the neighbours not being comfortable with Airbnb as we experienced a very awkward encounter as we tried to enter the building.

En cuanto a la habitación es justo lo que ofrecen, una habitación con cama doble y un baño privado y funcional. En caso de volver a Barcelona, repetiré con ellos. It was our first Airbnb experience and it was fantastic. Esther and Robert had been excellent hosts, very kind, cheerful and talkative people... was a pleasure to met them. As to the room, it's just like they offer. A double bed room with a functional private room with a shower. If we return to Barcelona, sure we'll repeat with them

La habitación genial con baño privado incluido, excelente para descansar y una ubicación inmejorable. Si tuviera tiempo disponible me quedaba más días. Altamente recomendable.

Massima elasticità su TUTTO, ottima la connessione col centro di Barcellona, la fermata metro è a pochi minuti a piedi. Nella Zona si trovano diversi locali notturni e market aperti 24/24. Ester e Robert, squisiti! Un'accoglienza calorosa ed inaspettata. Che sia una vacanza in coppia o da single, grazie all'ambient potrai approfittare di una vacanza all'insegna dello scambio culturale, della condivisione, dell'empatia. Un abbraccio E&R.
Jun 27, 2019Pessima esperienza nel B&B! Come da accordo preso precedentemente avevamo prenotato una stanza nel B&B della signora Esther. Eravamo in 4 ragazze, due sarebbero dovute restare nel B&B di Esther e altre due in un altra stanza abdicata a 3 min a piedi in un altra stanza. Appena arrivate ci ha accolto Robert. Non parlava inglese ne spagnolo e ci ha dato il permesso di salire tutte e 4 perché gli abbiamo spiegato che avevamo una valigia comune che dovevamo aprire per dare le robe alle due ragazze che alloggiavano li. Arriva Esther, la padrona di casa. Senza neanche ascoltarci ha iniziato ad urlarci dietro come una matta che non dovevamo stare li tutte e 4. Abbiamo cercato di spiegare con tutta la calma possibile che solo DUE DI NOI DOVEVANO ALLOGGIARE nel suo B&B. Eravamo salite tutte e 4 solo perché avevamo una valigia comune con le piastre dentro e le scarpe. Dovevamo solo dare alle due ragazze che dormivano ospiti nel B&B le loro cose, dopo saremo andate. Ci ha accolto urlando che non potevamo stare lì tutte e quattro e ha zittito Robert che ci aveva permesso di salire per dividere la roba che si trovava nella valigia comune. Urlando e sbraitando, ci ha buttate fuori casa senza neanche ascoltare cosa avevamo da dirle!!! Così ci siamo trovate dalle 13 alle 17 di pomeriggio a cercare un appartamento in zona. Ci ha rovinato tutto il primo giorno di vacanza che lo abbiamo passato a cercare case invece di visitare. Mi dispiace per chi alloggerà di nuovo in questo B&B. Mai trovata così male.

Jun 27, 2019El hospedaje cumplió mis expectativas. Especialmente que cuenta con servicio sanitario privado. Es tranquilo, aseado, Esther ofrece su cocina, utencilios, refrigerador. La habitación apenas para lo que necesitamos. No se cierra con llave la habitación, pero nosotras no tuvimos ningún inconveniente y para entrar al piso se debe utilizar el timbre e intercomunicador para que le abran, con este tema no tuvimos tampoco ningún problema, siempre está Esther o Roberth para abrir y para recomendar lugares. En mi caso estuvimos de paseo el mayor tiempo. Gracias

Jun 27, 2019Excelente ubicación, a pasos de estación de metro Poble Sec, con varios lugares para comer y comprar en sus alrededores. Esther es muy amable y dispuesta a ayudar con lo que se necesite. La pieza es pequeña, muy limpia. Sin aire acondicionado, pero dispone de un ventilador que ayuda en los días de verano. Colchón muy blando.

Jun 27, 2019A small private room in a small apartment with other rooms for rent. It is perfect for only one person. Forget about make a nape during the day because TV is always on because the owner likes to watch televesion during the day. It is not possible to cook in kitchen.

Jun 27, 2019The room is located in a nice area close to plaza Espana and next to a metro station. Ester and Robert are quite friendly and helpful. the room has no AC which is quite a problem especially during summer season since the window is overlooking the inside walls of the building and there is no ventilation. Ester had set up a fan in the room but it was of no use as it was unbearably hot. you don't get a key but there is someone at the apartment all the time. this wasn't a problem for us as we were getting back to the place around 23h but I guess it can be a problem for party goers that tend to stay out till late hours. The room is around 6m2 and furniture is rather old and there were some issues with the water drainage in the toilet as water tends to remain on the tiles after shower. Overall the biggest problem for us was the unbearable heat and if you are staying over the summer maybe consider getting a place with AC.

Jun 27, 2019L'alloggio consiste in una piccola stanza con letto matrimoniale, dotata di ventilatore e bagno personale. Il posto è molto pulito e accogliente. L'unica pecca è che non c'è la possibilitá di cucinare, solo per la colazione si puó utilizzare la cucina, tuttavia questo è scritto nel regolamento quindi è espresso al momento della prenotazione. La camera è all'interno di un appartamento abitato dalla stessa Esther, che peró è cordiale, disponibile e discreta. Ottimo soggiorno.
