Steven was very responsive and flexible, and the apartment was comfortable and as advertised. Late sleepers might want to note that major construction on this block of Mulberry Street gets started early, but I'm an early riser and it didn't bother me.
Jun 27, 2019Appartement très bien placé, dans le quartier de NY qui est maintenant mon préféré. De nombreux bars, resto très sympa et pas trop chers. Steven est très agréable et se rend disponible au moindre problème (on n'en a eu aucun, impeccable pour le retour des clés, wifi marche parfaitement). Petit moins sur la deuxième chambre un peu petite et le passage obligé à coté du lit pour accéder aux toilettes. La chambre avec lit 2 places est au calme (je dormais la) et très spacieuse. Je conseille les yeux fermés pour les familles
Jun 27, 2019Exactly what's great about Airbnb. Steven was super friendly and accommodating. We got into town quite late on a Saturday, just after 11pm, and he gladly met us at the apartment with keys. It's a nice, little apartment. In a brilliant location. And, it's very clean, and functional. In regards to location, the Nolita location is actually just as well situated for getting to and from the heart of the LES (let's say, Ludlow and Rivington) than an number of the LES apartments on here which are in the very lower LES or Chinatown. One small note - you have to walk thru bedroom 2 to get to the bathroom. So, if you have any sort of bathroom anxieties maybe that would bug you. Anyway - great host, cool place and would gladly stay there again.
Jun 27, 2019This was our first time using AIRBNB and it could not have worked out better. Steven's place was ideally located and he was very flexible regarding check-in/check out times. We will definitely consider staying again on our next trip to NYC.

Jun 27, 2019The place was awesome and the location was amazing. A ton of great places within blocks and easy access to the subway. It was a bit cozy, but we managed just fine with four of us (brought an air mattress). Not that you would want to hang out in an apartment when you are visiting NYC, but even when we did have a bit of downtime sitting around or getting ready in the mornings we were not tripping over each other. I would highly recommend the place and definitely hope to stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Friendly host and a nice apartment that was just perfectly sized for our group of three adults and a baby with her own small travel bed. The kitchen was perfect for cooking something small for breakfast. Very nice beds. The location is superb with a variety of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby and several subway stations around. Definitely my favorite neighborhood in the city: lively but still peaceful. Next time when going to New York, I'm definitely going to stay in the same neighborhood and would stay in Steven's apartment again.
Jun 27, 2019Steven was easy to work with from the beginning. He responded to questions and made the booking process seamless! Had a wonderful week in NY!! The location was perfect for us, (3 people) close to restaurants and transport. Safe and secure building. Steven met us on arrival and gave us all the information we needed for the WIFI and area. He allowed us to have a late checkout since our flights were in the evening. The apartment was clean and comfortable with chocolates waiting for us and breakfast provisions in the refrigerator. Highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed .

Jun 27, 2019Steven is a great host -- friendly, helpful, and responsive. He welcomed us on arrival and offered to help us with our bags. His place is just as described and is very clean. The location is unbeatable, very cool with lots of great shops, bookstores, and restaurants just out the door, and I can't emphasize enough how quiet it is, which is really hard to come by in New York. There were three of us and there was plenty of room. I'd definitely stay here on a future visit.
Jun 27, 2019Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Gemütliche Restaurants, Lebensmitteladen, Buchladen, Bäckereien und unzählige Shoppingmöglichkeiten sind problemlos zu Fuss erreichbar. Ebenso die Subway. Steven ist unkompliziert und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir reisten erst spät abends an, was kein Problem war. Auch betreffend Check-out war Steven sehr flexibel. Die Wohnung reicht gut für 3 Personen und hat schätzungsweise 30-40 m2. Sie war sehr sauber und für New York erstaunlich ruhig. Kleines Manko: Es gibt keinen Esstisch sondern nur einen Couchtisch. Ich kann die Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen. Daniel
Jun 27, 2019Steven's place was perfect for 3. My wife and I and my buddy were comfortable there. The only minor issue is that you have to go through the smaller bedroom to get to the bathroom but if you all are friends it's not a big deal. The location of this apartment is perfect. Close to tons of restaurants, bars, coffee, boutique shops. The street is relatively quiet too which was nice. I'd stay here again next time for sure.
Jun 27, 2019BED BUGS. BED BUG BITES and ITCHY BURNING HORRIBLE RASH. Unfortunately this is my lasting impression of this apartment. Steven, the host was not interested in our plight, which became apparent as we were leaving. I would never stay here again and would never recommend it. I also feel uncomfortable about being asked by Steven to tell his neighbours I am his aunt. I have stayed at other Airbnb apartments and never been asked this. Is this legal? I guess the host got his money, and couldn't care less about his guests. Don't stay here.
Jun 27, 2019Steven was a great host. ..friendly and incredibly responsive to our needs and requests. The apartment was perfect for 2 in a great location and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to any couple looking for a good central to everything apartment. The fact that access to the toilet and bathroom is through the small single bedroom was a problem for us as my daughter is a very light sleeper so only in some cases would it work for 3 people. All in all though we had a wonderful week.
Jun 27, 2019Pros: Great host. Impresively well equipped and clean apartment. Very comfortable and warm. Good location very close to the subway, restaurants and minimarket. The shower had good pressure. Cons: Fourth floor and with no elevator. The washing machine wasn't working OK. Thank you Steven, we had a great time in your apartment.
Jun 27, 2019Very good community, nice location near 3 metro station (prince st, spring st, broadway-lafayette). Little Italy is just a couple of minutes walk. Steven is a great host. He helped us with luggage, and kept very smooth communication. We enjoy staying here. Strongly recommend.
Jun 27, 2019Steven is a considerate host and made us feel very welcome. Arrangements for key pick up etc. were easy and flexible. The apartment is comfortable and clean and in a great location - close to several subway lines and lots of great places to eat. The only minor problem is that the bathroom is accessed through the small second bedroom - but nothing that can't be worked around. Would happily stay there again!

Jun 27, 2019Steven is a considerate host and made us feel very welcome. Arrangements for key pick up etc. were easy and flexible. We got some recommends for Halloween hot spots. So there was a lot of fun. The apartment is comfortable, clean and the location was "primeur", close to hot spots and subway lines. There were a lot of small, fine restaurants around - also for vegetarians. So in any cases - we can recommend Steven as a host. We would happily stay there again.
Jun 27, 2019Steven was really great to deal with online - we didn't get to meet him personally as he was away. Pick up of the key was arranged and was easy. Steven's apartment is in an absolutely fantastic location - great shopping, great dining - in what seems like an older part of town. Steven's apartment is quite small (but normal for NY standards) with the spare bed in the corridor to the bathroom. Lucky our 9yo child is a good sleeper. I didn't realise Steven was a smoker, and so the smell of the cigarette smoke in the apartment really affected us. The listing is correctly labelled, this was just an oversight on my part. The bathroom and kitchen were clean enough, but there was a fair amount of grime around the light switches and doors. This, combined with the heat of summer with limited ventilation was a little too much for us. This location in NYC is close to multiple subway stations as well which made sightseeing a breeze.

Jun 27, 2019Steven was a great host. Easy check-in and very helpful. Great location. Just the right amount of space for a trip. The Airbnb was smoky smelling though, so if you have asthma like me- do not stay here. There is no washer and dryer so if you are staying awhile pack accordingly.
