The accommodation was much nicer than we had anticipated, too big for two people (and hence more expensive) but perfect for us because our grandchildren came round on several occasions. It was clear that Alexandra had spent much effort (and money) to make the place really nice, but there were minor problems with the area (workshops at night and a noisy lift in the early morning) that might deter the very sensitive and light sleeper. The beds were very comfortable and the shower room and (2) toilets immaculate
Jun 27, 2019Alexandra was so friendly and helpful, she really made us feel very welcome! She went above and beyond to make us feel at home at her place. The apartment itself is beautiful, clean and a great space with everything you need. There is a gorgeous view of the city from the terrace. The city is easily accessible by metro or 30 mins walk. We had a great stay, thanks Alexandra!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment had evrything we needed , it was nice to be able to sit out on the terrace at sunset . Apartment was extremely clean Recycling facilities on the street are limited , and we were noit sure where to take recyclable items
Jun 27, 2019Alexandra s'est montrée disponible (accueil à minuit) et très prévenante. Elle parle un français parfait ce qui est un plus. Elle partage ses bons plans (cafés, restaurants..) avec joie. L'appartement est clair, spacieux et agréable. La rénovation est soignée. Chacune des deux chambres dispose d'un lit double et de sa pièce d'eau : WC et lavabo pour l'une, salle d'eau et WC pour l'autre. Deux couchages supplémentaires (deux lits simples) sont installés dans le salon-salle à manger. La cuisine est moderne. Elle permet d'y préparer et d'y prendre ses repas à deux personnes. Pour davantage de convives, la terrasse nous tend les bras. Le tout est d'une propreté impeccable. Deux points moins favorables : un ascenseur bruyant qui ne permet ni les endormissements sereins, ni les grasses matinées ; et un emplacement un peu excentré. Il faut compter une petite trentaine de minutes pour aller dans le centre à pied : prendre le métro, tout proche, dès que l'on peut, parce que ça monte au retour. Le quartier est calme et plutôt résidentiel, en cours de réhabilitation. Un mini-supermarché très économique (Dia) et un boulanger se trouvent à proximité. Nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix! Encore merci Alexandra.

Jun 27, 2019Excelente Apartamento no Porto. Espaço bem confortável, com ótimas instalações, banheiro e cozinha renovados e com ótimo aspecto. Ainda há um ótimo terraço para passar um tempo observando a v do bairro. A localização também é boa. Há uma pequena distância a pé do centro e servida por uma linha de metro. Recomendo. 5 estrelas!

Jul 27, 2019This apatment is vell located, near 100 m from metro station. Around this place you can find many shops for food, cafe etc. The rooms are very clean, good furniture inside, there are two toilet room that is very comfortable if you stay here with children or two or more pairs. Very large terrase and balcony are very useful if 3 or more people live in this apartment. Friendly and sociable nature of the mistress of the house. Full satisfaction!

Jun 27, 2019Alexandra's apartment was really lovely and neat.It had everything we needed for a great stay in (Website hidden by Airbnb) was only a short walk to the market around the corner, which was great as we did a lot of cooking, in her well equipped kitchen The train station was only 5 minutes walk away which made for easy connection to the airport Overall we had a fantastic stay at Alexandra's apartment, far better value than a hotel. Highly recommend to others. Thank you Alexandra, for being a great host and for all the information on Porto, hope to see you again some day!
Jun 27, 2019Merci pour tout Alexandra, très bonne accueil et magnifique appartement. Nous étions idéalement situé à la fois près du centre ville et proche aussi du stade du Dragao. Les lits sont confortables, vous avez une belle terrasse pour prendre votre petit-déjeuner sous le soleil de Porto. Pour les fans de foot vous êtes à 15min du stade du dragao. Tout cela pour dire que je suis plus que satisfait de mon séjour. Je recommande chaudement cet appartement en cas de visite de porto.

Jun 27, 2019Nous avons passé un bon séjour à Porto. L’appartement est modeste mais propre dans un quartier ouvrier, bien situé et proche des moyens de transport pour faciliter la visite de Porto. Nous nous attendions à ce que le bruit de l’ascenseur soit réglé....mais il persiste toujours c’est une question structurelle de l’édifice.
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay in Alexandra's apartment! The apartment is big, clean and has everything you need! Also, it is very nicely located which makes exploring Porto very easy. We were able to check-in at a later hour which was great! Would definitely recommend staying at Alexandra's apartment!
Jun 27, 2019sehr schönes Apartment. die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, und ein Wohnzimmer wo zwei Schlafcouchen stehen. die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es ist sogar eine Waschmaschine vorhanden. die Lage ist nicht im Zentrum aber man kann ohne Probleme in 10-15 Minuten die Altstadt mit all ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. zudem ist eine Metro Station nur ein paar Minuten entfernt von der aus man alles sehr gut erreichen kann. auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in direkter Nähe. ich würde das Apartment sofort wieder mieten und ohne Vorbehalte weiter empfehlen. Very nice apartment. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. There are two bedrooms with a double bed, and a living room where there are two sofa beds. The kitchen is well equipped and there is even a washing machine available. The location is not in the center but you can easily reach the old town with all its sights in 10-15 minutes. Moreover, a Metro station is only a few minutes away from which you can reach everything very well. Shopping facilities are also in the immediate vicinity. I would immediately rent the apartment again and recommend without reservation.

Jun 27, 2019Alexandra is such a great host: she was very kind, thoughtful and let us feel at home the second we arrived. The communication was great, it was super easy to get in touch with her and she replied really fast. She even send us information about ongoing events in Porto around the time we were there. The apartment was a great place to relax, there are two supermarkets within a 5 minute walk and the station Marques. So you can either walk downtown (20-25 minutes) or take the metro (5 minutes). We'd definitely come back to Alexandra the next time we stay in Porto!
Jun 27, 2019Alexandra was a great host! The appartment was very clean and spacious, as well as well equipped and well located. It is 15 minutes away from the center by foot and very close to a metro and bus station. The check-in and out timing was flexible, which was a plus to the excellent welcome we received with a pleasant talk and some suggestions and recommentations. I encourage you to stay in Alexandra's flat and enjoy a wonderful trip in Porto!
Jun 27, 2019Alexandra was really responsive in communication, and was there to check us in when we arrived, with plenty of information about sightseeing, local restaurants etc. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, clean, quiet, and has TWO amazing balconies. Note that while the apartment is very central in Porto, it's not *right* in the touristic center. You can walk to the Ribeira neighborhood in about 25-30 minutes (passing lots of restaurants, shops, churches) - and the apartment itself is in a very residential, non-touristy part of the city, which is exactly what we were looking for. Porto is very hilly (gorgeous!) but plan accordingly for distance AND elevation changes!
Jun 27, 2019Ótimo espaço, amplo, limpo com tudo o que se pode precisar para uma estada de vários dias, bem localizado, próximo ao metrô e ônibus. Da varanda se tem uma vista incrível do por do sol. Ficamos no apartamento por 16 dias e não sentimos nenhuma falta de carro. A Alexandra é uma pessoa muito simpática, gentil e sempre esteve pronta a responder aos nossos questionamentos, tanto antes quanto durante nossa estada. Só temos a agradecer e, numa próxima viagem ao Porto, com certeza esta será nossa primeira escolha.
Jun 27, 2019Lejligheden er perfekt til en tur til Porto. Den ligger meget centralt til de fleste ting, der er værd at se. Lejligheden har en perfekt størrelse til en familie, og altanen er perfekt til at sidde og nyde sine måltider på, kort sagt en perfekt base for et ophold i Porto.

Belle étape pour les amoureux du Portugal où il fait bon séjourner, dormir (literie exceptionnelle !) et profiter de la grande terrasse ! Jun 27, 2019Really nice place. The furniture is amazing, there is a lot of rooms and the tarrace was our favourite. Kitchen has everything you need. The place was very clean. Localization is great, a lot of caffes, stores and a park nearby, city center within walking distance. The owner is a very kind and patient person, she was very helpful. The only downside of the place is really slow wifi. Also, be careful of the self locking front door. All in all, an amazing place I'd recommend to anyone :)

Jun 27, 2019L'appartement est conforme à la description. Le quartier est calme. Métro, commerces ( dont poissonnerie et boucherie) sont proches. Le balcon à l'est et la terrasse à l'ouest permettent de pouvoir toujours profiter du soleil. Il y a un cabinet de toilette avec WC en plus de la salle de bain. Le séjour et la communication avec Alexandra ont été très agréables. Seul inconvénient : le bruit de ascenseur.
