Isabel and Carlos are really nice and communicative people and there place is lovely. The place is located in one of my favorite areas of Porto. Right near the beach and only minutes away from the main tourist area in the city. The room is like the pictures with a nice private bathroom, two persons bed fish tank and desk. The glass door to the garden is your private entrance to your room which is very useful. I'd loved also the tea and cookies Isabel left for me. Overall a really nice experience.
Jun 27, 2019La experiencia ha sido positiva. Tanto Carlos como Isabel fueron muy amables en todo momento. La habitación cumple con las expectativas y es como aparece publicada. Está situada en la parte baja y es independiente del resto de la casa. Dispone de privacidad total. La entrada/salida es por el ventanal. El lugar y el conjunto de la casa es muy tranquilo y relajante. Lugar pefecto para un buen descanso. Todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado. La cama en su conjunto era muy cómoda, el baño pequeño pero suficiente. Estuvimos un fin de semana y para esas dos noches, nos dejaron 6 toallas, champú, gel de ducha y gel de manos y de buena calidad. Disponen de secador de pelo. Asimismo, nos dejaron en una bandejita, diferentes tipos de tés, unas pastas muy ricas, azucar y un kettel para calentar el agua. Si váis cuando hace frío, dispone de calefación.
Jun 27, 2019Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben, es ist alles vorhanden was man brauch. Sogar ein Wasserkocher, Tee und Gebäck stehen bereit. carlos haben wir nicht kennengelernt aber Isabel hat uns sehr warmherzig empfangen. Es war toll.
Jun 27, 2019Nettes, kleines Zimmer mit Bad. Bequemes Bett und top Lage. Carlos haben wir leider nicht kennengelernt, da wir sehr viel unterwegs waren, aber konnten seine sehr liebe Frau kennenlernen. Fazit: Toller Aufenthalt in einer tollen Stadt

Jun 27, 2019I've had a very good time in Porto, staying with Carlos and Isabel. Such nice people! The room was just right, very clean and very comfortable. And there was a dubble entrence whitch made me feel save. It is close to te river and close to the sea. Carlos and Isabel helped me find my way around and gave me a city map. Very little tourists, what I liked very much. I would stay with Isabel and Carlos again when I return to Porto!
Jun 27, 2019The room is quiet with a pleasant aspect over an interior courtyard. Close to restaurants and shops but secluded and peaceful. It is near the sea in the old town. Parking is nearby on the seafront. The room is small but comfortable.

It is 3 minutes from the ocean and also has a separate entrance, which is so conveniently. We have really enjoyed staying at this place - next our stop in Porto definitely will be in this apartment! Jun 27, 2019Carlos and Isabel were excellent hosts. The room was very nice and clean. They are very close to the beach and just a short bus trip away from the city centre. They went out of their way to invite me to dinner which was such a treat. If you are travelling to Porto I would highly recommend that you stay with Carlos and Isabel.
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay at Carlos & Isabel's Room. It is a small but charming Room which has everything you need during a short City trip. You walk ~100m to a busstation where you for example can easily get connected directly to the City Center in about 10-15 Minutes. Carlos & Isabel are very friendly and fantastic hosts. Just feel free to ask them whatever you want.
Jun 27, 2019숙소에서 걸어서 바다까지 2분이면 갑니다. 조금 외진 곳에 있지만 500번 버스타면 다 20분 내로 도착합니다. 방은 작지만 안락하고 있을건 다 있습니다. 호스트 부부 분들도 매우 친절하십니다. 조용하고 차분한 곳이라 혼자서 여유롭게 지내기 좋습니다. 와이파이가 조금 느리고, 빨래할 곳이 없습니다. 미리 알아두고 가세요.
Jul 27, 2019Just some little problems with the bathroom: water comes down from the wc and in the shower go down slowly, and didn't told before. Twice it was difficult to comunicate with host. But they are very relaxed person, the room is nice, clean and comfortable. Very close to the Foz of Douro. Bus is closed and with a taxi is 6 euros to the centre
Jun 27, 2019Great room with private entrance to inside garden. Beautiful neighbourhood close to the sea and nice bars and restaurants at the promenade. If I come back I would definitely stay at the friendly warm and welcoming place of Carlos and Isabel!

Jul 27, 2019Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah am Meer und ist für 2 Personen für ein paar Tage völlig ausreichend. Das Bad war etwas klein aber alles nötige war vorhanden und sauber. Isabel war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und am ersten Tag wurden wir herzlich von ihr empfangen. Das Zimmer ist daher für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Porto am Strand zu empfehlen!

We can unconditionally recommend this accomodation. It is ideal, both for hanging out on Portos beaches and for visiting the city center after a lovely walk along the Douro.
Jun 27, 2019The home of Carlos and Isabel is situated a mere 3 minute walk from the coast of the Atlantic ocean. A beautiful park is just across the street and the frequent 500 bus will take you all the way to the historical center of Porto in about 20 minutes. Nearby you will find cafe's with delicious pastry and coffee. Scenic beaches are also very close. The air, especially in the morning, is filled with the smell of the ocean that will surely empower you for the adventures of the day, of which Porto has plenty to offer. The room itself was incredibly cozy and clean, smelling of fresh linen. Felt more like a 5 star hotel room than an affordable Airbnb location. The room has its own entrance with access to the street as well as a private shower and toilet room. You can bar the access from the rest of the house for extra privacy. There's also a fish tank to stare at to help you relax. Upon arrival we found cookies, tea and a small kettle to boil water with that our hosts kindly left for us. All of our requests and wishes were met with utmost kindness and keen will to help. Our hosts made us feel welcome and showed true southern European hospitality. We highly recommend Carlos's place to anyone looking to enjoy their vacation in Porto.
Jun 27, 2019Nice room, very clean, in perfect place, near a quite place (public garden) and the beaches in one side and Porto center in the other side. Bus stop at 50 meters really easy! Isabel and Carlos were very kindness and reactive! We really recommended it!

Jun 27, 2019I spend two nights in the comfortable room at Carlos and Isabel. It's quiet and clean and the private bathroom and own entrance are very convenient as well as the flexible check-in/out. The beach and river are close and there are some wonderful restaurants in the area and few tourists. Three days of walking around, soaking up the sun and simply enjoying life. Thank you!
Jun 27, 2019Our time in Isabel and Carlos house was wonderful. The room we were at was very clean, big and it had it's own little private bathroom where you can have really hot showers. The house is also very close to the beach and to a bus stop where you can take bus 500, which is very convenient. You can also take an uber from their house to the center of the city for about 5 to 6 euro. They were both amazing hosts and went beyond our expectations. Wonderful room and hosts.

Jun 27, 2019Rewelacyjny pokój ☺️ świetna lokalizacja przy cichym parku , 1 min od oceanu blisko do sklepu, restauracje z miłą obsługą i pysznym jedzeniem. Zabytkowy tramwaj zabierze Cię w 15-20 min. wzdłuż rzeki do starego miasta. Gdzie możesz dobrze zjeść i napić się pysznego lokalnego wina. Na północ w stronę portu ciągnie się wspaniałą promenada z miłymi kawiarniami. Przy porcie zjesz zawsze świerza rybę Gospodarze są na medal , bardzo mili i zawsze dobrze doradza gdzie można się udać w razie niepogody.

And Carlos&Isabel appartament (with the cleanest bed linen and towels, with aquarium and awakening with classical music) have become my real home for these 4 days. Сozy room, ideal cleanliness, quiet courtyard, narrow street, wonderful park near, good public transport connection, friendly, sympathetic and kind citizens and 2 minutes walk to Atlantic (Website hidden by Airbnb) makes my holidays. Jul 27, 2019Simple and great at the same time. Nice location, if you like the sea. Our favorite double decker #500 stops just round the corner and brings directly to the station and the center. Breakfast in the small coffee at the park is a must and two minutes away. Hosts are warm and kind, we wish we stayed longer :)

The city is simply amazing, and the private and independent bedroom+bath was exactly what we needed to explore the town. The location is Prime! Close to the beach and the river, trams and buses... but we actually just walked everywhere really! Very clean and comfortable, and very quiet at night. I really recommend the stay!

Jun 27, 2019I found everything I needed at Carlos and Isabel’s place. The room is cosy and clean, with sweet mini bathroom (the bathroom was my favorite). The location of the apartment is ca 20-23 min from the city centre with a bus. It is a good location for people who want to live in a quieter and more relaxed distric than city centre. It is just 7 min walk from there to the first beach. I am 100 % satisfied with my stay and I am planning to go back to Porto and stay at the same place. Isabel and Carlos are fantastic people :)

There’s everything you need in the room, it’s close to the Douro estuary with a few restaurants and bars to go to, and really convenient to reach Porto city centre. Een fijne kamer met voldoende facaliteiten (waterkoker, kopjes, bestek en borden voor 2 personen), een heerlijke douche en een prima bed. Rustige omgeving en vlakbij het drukkere grote centrum. Wij hebben 4 dagen alles op de fiets gedaan en bezocht: wat een feest! Ondanks het (Hollandse) weer hebben we genoten en zouden we zeer zeker weer boeken via Airbnb en deze kamer!!!! Het verblijf is niet ver gelegen van de kust, ong 100m, vlakbij een bushalte. Dit verblijf is zeker een aanrader om Porto te bezoeken, een goede combinatie van kustwandelingen en een bezoek aan de stad.

Jun 27, 2019I can absolutely recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit the city of Porto but also wish to be close to the ocean. It's actually five minute walk to the Mouth of the Douro River and it's amazing to be able to look at this view everyday. If you want to get to the City, the bus stop is less then 100m away from the house. As for the room, it's just like in the pictures - very cosy, comfy and clean. You get everythng what's needed (towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, even a small electric kettle), there is enough space for two people and their things. It's got its own, separate exit to the garden, so you don't need to be worry that you might disturb someone. Isabel was very nice and sweet to us, she show us the place, gave us all directions we needed. What more can I say? We couldn't be happier that Isabel and Carlos decided to became a hosts in Airbnb and share their home with us.
Jun 27, 2019Se trata de un pequeño escritorio que Carlos transforma en cuarto para dos. La cama está muy baja a sólo unos 25cms del piso y también la TV está en el piso. El baño es pequeño pero cómodo. Todo muy limpio. Se entra por una puerta ventana que da a un jardín y hay una silla para tomar el fresco. Pero no hay ventana. De modo que si cierras la puerta...... Esta bien ubicada cerca del bus 500 que va a la Rivera y al centro. Carlos muy amable nos permitió late Checkout. Buena relación precio calidad

Jun 27, 2019今までの中で最高のAIRBNB｡ｲｻﾍﾞﾙとｶﾙﾛｽは到着日そうそうの夜夕食に招待してくれました｡建物のﾙｰﾌﾄｯﾌﾟで大西洋へ沈む夕日を見ながらｶﾙﾛｽお手製の野菜ｽｰﾌﾟsopa de legumesと焼き魚peixe no forno(ﾎﾟﾙﾄｶﾞﾙの味)を頂くという思いもかけなかった体験が､私たちの旅のｽﾀｰﾄでした｡その後､白ﾜｲﾝを飲みながら興味深い会話が続き､最終的にﾊｰﾌﾞﾃｨで就寝｡彼らは常に私達に気を配ってくれました｡ 2日間過ごした専用ﾊﾞｽﾙｰﾑ付きのお部屋は､建物のﾊﾟﾃｨｵから直接ｱｸｾｽが可能で(ｷｰ付き縦長窓)､まるでﾌﾟﾗｲﾍﾞｰﾄｱﾊﾟｰﾄﾒﾝﾄの様でした｡ｵｰﾅｰの住居を通らずに道へ出られる様考えてありました｡室内全てが新しく､お掃除は言うことなし｡お茶が飲める様にｹﾄﾙとﾃｨｰｶｯﾌﾟが置いてあります｡ ﾛｹｰｼｮﾝは私たちのﾌﾟﾗﾝ(ﾋﾞｰﾁ徒歩5分､Museu Serralves徒歩20分)にﾋﾟｯﾀﾘでした｡市内中心部からはﾊﾞｽ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) 分｡ｿﾞｰﾝ2のAndante Card 24h (4,15€)を使えばなんの不自由もなく､逆に静かで素敵なﾖｰﾛｯﾊﾟ的ﾊﾞｶﾝｽを体験したい方には超ｵｽｽﾒです! ｲｻﾍﾞﾙ､ｶﾙﾛｽ､ありがとう! Una experiencia inmejorable con Isabel y Carlos. El primer día nos invitó a una cena casera en la azotea del edificio con una maravillosa vista. Una sopa de verdura y un plato de pescado asado que cocinó Carlos (el sabor portugués) hicieron que nuestro viaje fuera muy especial. Luego continuamos con una larga conversación muy interesante. Fueron muy detallistas con nosotros en todos los sentidos. La habitación independiente con una entrada propia (la ventana vertical con llave) y un baño privado hacen que el cuarto se convienta en un apartamento privado. La entrada-ventana da a un pequeño patio del edificio que comunica directamente a la calle (sin necesidad de pasar por la residencia principal). La limpieza es impecable. La ubicación fue perfecta para nuestro plan. Unos días de playas (5 min) y otro de visita a la Fundación Serralves (20 min). Una zona preciosa para pasear. Para ir al centro de la ciudad el autobús línea 500 recorre por la desenvocadura del río Duero en (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) min (entre São Bento y la puerta de la casa). También existe otra opción que es el tranvía línea 1 (30 min), una atracción turística. Nosotors ya tenemos una casa en Oporto. ¡Muchas gracais, Isabel, Carlos!

Jun 27, 2019The accommodation of Carlos and Isabel is beautiful!! You live together with some small fishes in a little room which contains all what you need for some days in Porto! Furthermore the house is located in silence but lovely quarter of Porto! Unfortunately we only met Isabel and his son, but they were really nice and courteous to us! Thank you for the nice days we could spend at your room !!! Absolutely recommendable!!

It's located in a quiet area, however is just 10 minutes away from the city centre by bus. Isabel and Carlos are lovely and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Porto!
Jun 27, 2019Locatie was top, vlakbij zee. Ook de stad is goed te bereiken met verschillende buslijnen of een uber. Carlos en Isabel waren ontzettend gastvrij en de communicatie verliep goed. Ze reageren snel. De kamer is lekker koel. Echt een aanrader!
Jun 27, 2019Wer ein ruhiges, saubere und preisgünstiges Appartment sucht und nicht gerade Trubel und Party braucht ist hier richtig gut aufgehoben. Carlos und Isabel sind sehr gastfreundlich und wenn es irgendwo ein Problem gibt, wie z. B. das Schloss, das am Anfang nicht richtig funktionierte, wird es sofort gelöst. Die Lage ist außerhalb von Lissabon aber mit dem Bus, der direkt vor der Haustür abfährt, ist man innerhalt von 15 Minuten in der City. Der Ortsteil liegt direkt an der Mündung des Douro, so dass das Meer und der Strand nicht weit sind, es gibt eine Strandpromenade und das eine oder andere einladende Strandlokal. Leider war mein Aufenthalt zu kurz.
Jun 27, 2019Probably the best accommodation in Porto ! If you prefer not to live right in the centre of town, Carlos & Isabel (approx. 15/20 minutes by bus) is the perfect place to stay. The accommodation is located between the centre and the beach. The centre and the beach can be reached by bus 500, which leaves from the bus stop in front of the house. (Approx.100m walk). Isabel and Carlos rent out a nice clean room, where you feel directly comfortable! The accommodation/ The room is clean and tidy and also offers a comfortable bed, a small but very nice private bathroom, a closet with enough space and a separate entrance door. With Isabel and Carlos you meet 2 warm, open and helpful people. They welcome you warmly and help you where they can. They give tips on where to eat and have breakfast in the immediate vicinity. So we found great little cafes and restaurants. We had a super nice stay with you and would return at any time. Thanks for the lovely days. Meron & Julia
Jun 27, 2019És un bon allotjament. El llit molt còmode i la dutxa espectacular (amb vàris xorros), encara que el bany una mica petit, però amb secador, gel i xampú. Tens accés directe a la habitació sense haver de passar per la casa. Té un aqüari que et demanen que els hi donguis de menjar als peixos. A la entrada vem tenir un detall de alguns tés i galetes. Ens van recomenar lloc per esmorzar i el bus que et porta al centre (15 minuts). Si haguèssim de tornar a Porto segurament buscariem més aprop del city center tot i que és un bon lloc. Relació qualitat/preu correcta.

Jun 27, 2019Isabel and Carlos’ petite Air BnB offers a wonderful respite from the city in its quiet location in the exclusive Foz district. Situated at the confluence of the Duoro River and the Atlantic Ocean, it is an amazing setting with cafes and restaurants located some 15 minutes by bus from the city center or 50 minutes on foot, which is a nice walk along the river. The space is quite small but well designed and quite comfortable for a single traveler. I especially enjoyed the desk, the fish tank, and the tiny but wonderful shower. Isabel and Carlos are world travelers and very interested in people. I very much enjoyed their hospitable company. I hope to be back in the future.

Jun 27, 2019I had a short, but very nice stay at Carlos & Isabel's place. I arrived quite late at night, but Isabel stayed up to welcome me. The place is very cosy, quiet and in a beautiful location close to the sea. It is a fair walk to the city center, however a beautiful one (or you catch the bus:) ). All in all I had a very nice stay and I would recommend anyone to stay with Carlos & Isabel.

Jun 27, 2019Großartig. Ich habe selten solch nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber getroffen wie Isabel und Carlos. Extrem hilfsbereit, jederzeit ansprechbar und bemüht, es dem Gast angenehm zu gestalten. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig und schön gelegen in der Nähe der Mündung des Douro in den Atlantik. Das Bad ist klein, aber ausreichend und sehr sauber. 3 Minuten entfernt ist die Endstation der historischen Linie 1, die direkt nach Porto führt. Reichlich kleine Cafe´s, Restaurants und Bars in der näheren Umgebung. Für einen entspannten Aufenthalt absolut perfekt.
Jun 27, 2019Isabel und Carlos sind wahnsinnig gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr schön, nah am Meer aber mit einem längeren Spaziergang am Fluss entlang oder mit dem Bus kommt man auch schnell ins Stadtzentrum. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Cafés und Restaurants findet man in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß.
Jun 27, 2019It was a very good room. Clean and hygienic toilets. Location is very close to the sea and it’s perfect for walks along the coast. Carlos is a very kind host and a helpful person. Very good experiences.
Jun 27, 2019Great place near the ocean. Cozy interior, super nice hosts and only 15 min into the city Centre by bus. Excellent location to explore the city and the costal areas. Good breakfast option 5min away. Supermarket 10min. 10/10 would stay there again.
Jun 27, 2019Die Unterkunft ist in Bezug auf Lage und Preis unschlagbar. Für zwei Personen als Paar oder BF ist es absolut ausreichend. Es ist genau wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Carlos und Isabel sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am letzten Abend haben wir noch gemeinsam einen Portwein getrunken und uns toll unterhalten. Seife, Föhn, Handtücher, Shampoo vorhanden. Immer wieder gerne!
