Thank you so much, Clark - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Having made my reservation just a few hours before my arrival, and getting in to town earlier than expected - Clark went out of is way to make sure I had access to his property and made sure everything I needed was in place. Being that it was first time in the New York, Clark made it a point to check in occasionally. The apartment is as seen in the pictures, and is located in one of the best locations in town. I will definitely stay here again if in New York!

Hell's Kitchen is a very special part of town, and the apartment is situated in a quiet street with good restaurants and good vibes. Room is lovely with Netflix and Amazon video, also great books. Absolutely above my expectation!

The location is great (just a few blocks from time square) and the apartment is cozy and super-clean. I will definitely be staying at Clark's the next time I AirBnB in Manhattan. Great host! Jun 27, 2019After a long day of walking and sightseeing, my husband and I were happy to kick off our shoes and relax in Clark's clean and spacious guest room. The bed was extremely comfortable, so we watched a movie on Netflix to warm up before dinner. The apartment is very close to Restaurant Row, so it didn't take us long to find some delicious Thai food. We watched Monday Night Football at a nearby sports bar, so if you are a football fanatic like my husband, have no fear of missing out on your game while on vacation! The apartment is on the third floor, so if you have trouble climbing stairs this will be an issue for you. As far as we are concerned, our stay at Clark's was perfect. Unfortunately, we didn't cross paths with our host during our stay, but we still felt very welcomed and well taken care of.

Chambre et appartements propre , la chambres n'est pas très grande mais suffisement pour le temps qu'on y reste quand on est à New-York ! Wi-Fi impeccable, tv avec Netflix. ... Excellente situation (13 min de time square) et le logement est situé dans une rue calme de Hell's Kitchen. Clark met à disposition 1 guide d'infos pour le séjour( restaurants ,bars, lieux touristiques et infos pratiques). Nous recommanderons avec plaisir le service de Clark .

Jun 27, 2019Le logement de Clark est super bien situé , près de Time Square. Propre, hyper calme , un lit à tomber: super confortable ainsi que les oreillers !! On a dormi comme des bébés moi et mon amie. Clark est très gentil, discret, adorable! Très disponible, il a prévu des serviettes, savon sur le lit. Il a prévu également une liste des meilleurs restaurants, lieux à voir... !! Je recommanderai le logement de Clark à mes amis sans hésitation !!Et je retournerai chez lui à New York sans hésiter non plus. Nous avons passé une super semaine chez Clark.

Jun 27, 2019Great location, we did everything pretty much walking. Place was very clean and cozy and Clark was very discrete, but also available at all times. He had a list of places and things to do and was very welcoming. Amazing experience for our first time with AirBnb!!

When he was at home, he made himself almost invisible unless we engaged him in conversation, and he was always helpful and amiable. The apartment was neat and extremely clean. The bedroom was spacious, but the single bathroom was tiny but super clean. All in all, a very good deal for Manhattan.

For me and my husband it was the perfect place to rest by the end of each of the 5 long days we had in NYC, walking a lot and enjoying this great city. Clark is a very polite host, very discreet and available too. It's been a great stay and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a central and quiet place to stay in Manhattan.
Jun 27, 2019Clark was awesome, super friendly, helpful and allowed us to leave our belongings there a little longer while we explored the city as we only had a backpack. He communicated with us greeted us with a warm welcome. The space was very well kept, very clean and the bed was super comfy. It was off the beaten path from Union Square and the Theatre District, so it was nice to have a little bit more of a quite city. However the space and location were perfect for our visit. I would highly recommend this space and Clark as a host.
Jun 27, 2019Petit appartement confortable,propre et très bien situé. A Hells kitchen on mange bien et on se sent en sécurité. A 10-15 minutes de Time square à pied, 20-25 de Central park. C'est génial . Nous sommes des Québécois et nous avons stationné la voiture à Hoboken (NJ) et avons pris un ferry jusqu'à la 39 th street et avons marché jusqu'à l'appartement. Clark est un hôte gentil et très discret. Il peut vous renseigner sur Manhattan. Notre première expérience avec Air bnb est vraiment réussie. .

Jun 27, 2019The room is headed to the back in a comparably quiet area between 10th and 11th Ave. So not too much noise for a good nights sleep. Especially 9th Avenue offers a wide variety of different restaurants for all budgets. Time Square is only a 10 minute walk away. Location is great to get everywhere. The room has a huge TV and a really comfortable bed as well as enough space in a small closet. Also there's room to leave the suitcase. Very small bathroom but sufficient for me. But two persons do not fit into the bathroom. Check in and out was very easy. Clark helped with all questions that might come up and has a lot of information for visitors in the room. I definately would stay there again.

The guest's room is oriented to the back of the building and very quiet, this plus the walking distance to Javits Center made it a very good choice for my business trip to New York. Jun 27, 2019We (couple) stayed 6 nights at Clark's apartment and it was exactly how he described it here on airbnb. Its small, but you have everything you need (and also more e.g. iron, slippers, TV, chiller, ...). We also got 3 towels and 2 keys each. He was super friendly/cool as well as flexible for check-in and out (because we arrived 12 hours later as expected). The bathroom was clean, the water pressure ok and we had always warm/hot water. The location is really good if you want to explore Manhattan, because you're just 10min by foot away from the Times Square and just 5min from the Intrepid Air & Space museum (the Highline start point is also just 10min away). So bottom line - we would definitely stay again at Clark's apartment.
Jun 27, 2019Maravilloso. Pasamos 9 noches en casa de Clark. Lugar limpio, pequeño y acogedor! La cama es muy cómoda, y teníamos todo lo que necesitábamos y mas dentro del departamento. Accesible a todo lo que queríamos ver, en todo momento nos sentimos en nuestro hogar! Clark siempre muy atento en lo que necesitáramos. No nos vimos mucho, ya que pasábamos todo el día afuera recorriendo, pero debo decir que sin dudas estoy esperando mis próximas vacaciones en NYC para volver a hospedarnos con el!

Shower had plenty of hot water & great water pressure. It was a great quiet area for sleeping & the bed is incredibly comfortable! We'd definitely stay again.
Jun 27, 2019숙소는 깨끗하고 위치도 아주 좋습니다. 주변에 유명한 식당들이 많은 곳이라서 점심 저녁 걱정도 없었어요~ Clark는 조용하고 배려 깊은 호스트여서 아주 편하게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 한국에서 뉴욕 들어가는 비행기들이 보통 오전에 떨어져서 체크인 하기 전까지 짐 들고 어디 가 있어야 하나 걱정했는데 Clark이 먼저 물어봐주고 키를 락커에 맡겨 주어서 공항에서 바로 숙소로 가서 쉴수 있었습니다. 강추합니다~

Times square est proche (10 mn) et central park(20 mn). Clark est très discret et répond rapidement à toutes demandes. Dans l'appartement tout est prévu pour réussir son séjour avec plusieurs leaflets d'activité et un mémo avec les commerces et restaurants aux alentours. En arrivant, il y avait des fruits et quelques denrées dans le frigo.

His place was in a very convenient location in Manhattan, being about a 10 minute walk from Times Square and other attractions. He gave us some bagels and orange juice in the fridge which was really nice of him. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
Jun 27, 2019Elegí el departamento de Clark para alojarme con mi pareja en nuestro primer viaje a NY principalmente porque me daba confianza que fuera un superhost y porque los comentarios decían que era un lugar tranquilo para descansar después de los días agotadores de caminata. Él fue un excelente host pero la habitación es algo ruidosa. Hay un motor exterior que funciona las 24hs y yo soy particularmente sensible a los ruidos. También se escuchaban pisadas del departamento superior pero yo no estoy acostumbrada a vivir en edificio tampoco. El wifi por las mañanas no funcionaba muy bien, tardaba en conectar, pero fuera de eso, el departamento es cómodo, pequeño pero perfectamente equipado. Tenés toallas, shampoo y acondicionador, heladera, microondas y todos los utensilios de cocina necesarios, hasta hay varios pares de ojotas de diferentes tamaños para que te puedas duchar. El agua caliente funcionó perfecto y la habitación es muy espaciosa y cómoda.

It was a good size for us and had a full kitchen, 1BR, 1 BA, and air conditioning in the BR. You can tell Clark takes pride in his apartment as it was nice and clean. He was a great host as well and easy to contact. I would highly recommend staying here.
Jun 27, 2019Clark's place was conveniently located in Hell's Kitchen and near Times Square but away from the madness and in great neighborhood feel. Clark was wonderful to leave a very detailed recommendation list of restaurants and sights to see. Also he was very quick to respond to any question or concern I had. He took the time to make sure we were comfortable and went out of his way to move the bedroom furniture away from AC unit while we were out. I would recommend Clarks place to have a wonderful local experience in NYC. We will be back!

Jun 27, 2019Clark is a wonderful host. Very thoughtful and helpful. He was available whenever we needed him through phone. He was kind enough to assist us when checking in with our bags. The location was nice though one needed to walk a bit to get the right kind of eating places But that's what is NY for. Walking around. The apartment was a bit smaller than we expected but was a well kept and adequately furnished. It was a quite locality which greatly helped. I would look up for his place next time when I visit NY.

Jun 27, 2019Realmente Clark y su novia nos atendieron de excelente manera. El departamento está muy bien equipado, y todo en perfecto estado y funcionamiento. En nuestro caso eramos dos personas y estuvimos más que cómodos. Nos dejaron toallas, jabón, Shampoos varios y hasta un secador de pelo. Volvería sin pensarlo. Solo para tener en cuenta, que en nuestro caso no fue inconveniente, el departamento se encuentra en un segundo piso por escalera. Se encuentra muy cerca del museo Naval y Aeroespacial de la armada y a 2 cuadras del inicio de la zona de restaurantes. Gracias Clark por todo. Saludos, Matías.

You need to be honest with yourself about whether you can carry, not drag, your bag up two flights of narrow stairs. If you can, this accomodation is fantastic with an extra bonus being that there is fantastic espresso coffee around the corner at Fission Espresso.

Clark was good at responding to questions we had, and his girl friend was so kind— they loaned me extra coats and gloves when NYC got it’s first cold snap during Veteran’s day weekend! I would highly recommend his place for NYC visitors!
Jun 27, 2019First timers in NY and we were glad we chose Clark's apartment for our 4 night stay. It's walking distance to Times Square, popular restaurants and bars. Although it's close in proximity to the nightlife and tourist attractions, Clark's apartment is nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We didn't have any problems with noise or concern for our safety especially when we would arrive late in the evening. Clark was a very accommodating host and attentive to all of our needs. He was a "hands off" host, which I prefer, but did message me to check in to make sure we got the keys okay and again making sure we had everything we needed, which I appreciate. The location is perfect and close to everything in Hells Kitchen. The apartment is clean and is stocked with everything you need, too. Even a bar of soap! I highly recommend Clark's apartment.

Jun 27, 2019We really liked the apartment's location and equipment in it. The bed was very comfortable, but a little bit short for us (we size 1.80m & 1.90m). We appreciated a lot as well Clark's responsiveness, very prompt replies and clear instructions. Nevertheless we found that the apartment was noisy (people going down and up stairs) so we had to sleep with earplugs. But this depends on people, we live in the country and used to silence with no neighbors.

Jun 27, 2019We had a good stay at Clark's apartment, which is closely located to Time Square, Broadway and local transport. The apartment was nice a quiet in a very busy city which was excellent. The bed was comfy and it was great having the TV with Netflix/Hulu etc when we were chilling out in the morning/evening. The issue we had while there was a small shower room leak from the apartment above. Also the gas was off for the entire building so we weren't able to cook our own food, this wasn't a big deal as you could order in and there were a lot of local places to eat - just maybe made it a little more expensive. Overall its the fact that the building is old and so these problems are more likely in an old apartment. Clark was brilliant through the stay, we were always able to contact him day or night and he was attentive, tried to fix the leak as soon as it occurred and let us keep our bags at the property over the checkout time (as we had a late flight back to the UK). Overall good for the price.

Clark was super helpful with check-in and with checking up to see if we needed any assistance. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator so if you have any heavy luggage, take note. Apart from that, everything was great. Would recommend!

Short walking distance from everything, but far enough away, that you return to a quite night of sleep. This apartment provided a quiet refuge, after I was done working at the Javits, during my stay.

Jun 27, 2019Clark's apartment was great. Clean and with a comfortable bed. There was all we needed and location was good, central but in a quiet street with not much noise. Clark was a good host and with flexible times for check in and check out. We are very happy with our stay there.

Jun 27, 2019What I loved about this place was that it was in a quiet neighbourhood even though it was 2 blocks away from Times Square! I love how easy and convenient the location was. I ended up walking to Times Square and Central Park and took an uber everywhere else. I will stay at Hell's Kitchen next time!

Parfaitement situé dans la ville il permet de découvrir Manhattan dans d'excellentes conditions. De nombreux commerces à proximité. Le fait que Clark parle français nous a aidé. La disponibilité de Clark et son attention sont précieuse.

Het is van alle gemakken voorzien, met onder andere een heerlijk bed. Clark is zeer gastvrij en helpt je met handige tips op weg naar een top verblijf in deze fijne stad. Een absolute aanrader!!!

Jun 27, 2019Me and my wife chose to get an Airbnb to save a little money during our memorial day trip to NYC. Happily, we didn't only save money, but got a great value as well. The apartment was cozy and stylish and the Hells Kitchen neighborhood has plenty to offer, but a quiet more quiet than the heavily touristed areas nearby. These qualities made this Airbnb a perfect place to two people to recharge in the middle of many busy activities in the city. I also want to add that our host, Clark was a pleasure to work with. He let us check in a little early so we didn't have to worry about storing our bags anywhere. He was friendly and accommodating, giving us some good local tips. Also, he was prompt in answering texts from before our arrival through after checking out.

Jun 27, 2019Excellent, central location for exploring NYC especially for attending Broadway theatre and restaurants. In walking distance of Restaurant row, The Intrepid, and theatres. The apartment is small but functional. There are three narrow flights of stairs so not for those with mobility issues.

Jun 27, 2019Stop looking and stay here! Clark went out of his way to make my daughters and I very comfortable on our recent trip to the city. His apartment has comfy beds, clean linens, and plenty of amenities to make our stay restful after a day packed of sight seeing. Things to note: Great location in a quiet neighborhood, short walk to restaurants, Times Square, theatre district, and subway stations. Also, Clark gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. His apartment is on the second floor, so a little bit of climbing is required. We would definitely stay again!!

One of the cleanest AirBnB we have been to. Still has the charm old NY building but has been stylishly updated. Definitely enjoyed our stay. Clark was a great host. Responds very quickly and met us on check-in.

Room itself has aircon to make summer heat bearable. Didn’t use kitchen apart from cereals, but utensils stocked. Fridge and freezer there. 15 minute walk to times sq. Great 5 day stay. Thanks Clark. Would come here again easy!

Jun 27, 2019Clark's place is in a great location for any business or leisure visitor looking for a quiet and well equipped apartment. The check-in was super easy, I was met outside the apartment and shown around before being handed the keys and left to enjoy my new home from home. Grocery stores, restaurants and many of the sights are within easy walking distance but the apartment is still quiet and peaceful at night. I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Jun 27, 2019What a perfect location! You can walk to all the main sites from this Midtown address, and there's good transport links to places beyond. Clark was really helpful, and couldn't have done more. This apartment may be small but it's way better than staying in a hotel.

Jun 27, 2019Clark's place was great for a quick trip to the city! My sister and I were in town to see a few Broadway shows, so the location was perfect - pretty much a 12-20 minute walk to anywhere we needed to be. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby, and we had an awesome meal our first night thanks to the list of suggestions Clark left in the apartment! We had a small hiccup at check-in, but it was resolved within a few minutes, and we were able to get our keys. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Most importantly, we felt very safe there and walking in the area. The only things to be aware of - the two flights of stairs up to the apartment are a little slanted and feel a bit like a fun house, so keep that in mind if you have issues with stairs. There are also very hot pipes running in the apartment that don't have any warning stickers, so they could easily burn a child or someone that might accidentally touch them. Not really a negative, just something to keep in mind if you're traveling with little ones! Overall, Clark's place was perfect for our needs, and I would definitely stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019This was our first stay in New York, and we spent a long time looking at options on airbnb. In the end, we went with this place for the price / location. It’s about a 5 minutes walk from Times Square, and then you’re really in the middle of everything. The place is more or less what we expected, and I think the photos are accurate. It’s not super luxury (where in New York is for under $1000s), but for the price/value I don’t think we could have beaten it. Clark was really nice the whole time and so helpful. I’d definitely stay again if we came back.
Jun 27, 2019We spent a lovely 5 days in this apartment it is ideally located no more than 10-15 mins from all the major sites plus good local jazz bars on doorstep. the apartment is so clean and warm with lots of home from home comforts we would definitely stay again.

Jun 27, 2019Beautifully renovated apartment in a 2nd floor of a walk-up building. We stayed for 2 weeks and the house had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Communication with the host was easy. Only aspect to mention is that the heating pipes are in all rooms and are very hot. Travelers with kids must be cautious

Jun 27, 2019My stay was beyond amazing ! Clark’s place is the perfect place for your stay in NYC . It’s literally right near the heart of Time Square and all kinds of amazing places. This is will forever be my go-to home for when I take trips to NYC. The place looks exactly as described and is super cozy. Bathroom and Kitchen has all the condiments and appliances as needed. The second night of my stay I accidentally blew the fuse of my room and felt so bad for bothering them so late. Clark kindly sent someone right away to help me with no problems . Anything I needed he quickly responded right away and even has an extra person to contact in case you need something. You’re crazy if you don’t choose Clark’s home for your NYC stay. Perfect location, great assistance , clean place and you can’t beat the price. ! Again thank you . I look forward to staying again sometime in the near future.
