Juan took time to explain everything and was very pleasant. It's a very good location in the centre, just a few minutes walk from the metro and there are lots of nice tapas restaurants on the same street.

Jun 27, 2019Juan was an awesome host. While being helpful wasn't intruding at all, so I did feel very comfortable. Room is perfect for single occupant ash short stay. A little downside is that there's no window in the room, so you don't know whether is a day or night time. Apart of that, everything is perfect, location is great, I could walk to the most places. Would recommend !

Jun 27, 2019Juan's place is very clean. The place is central, 20-30 minutes walking to famous sites like rambles street, Passage de Gracia etc. If you don't want walk, the subway is just 2 minutes walking.:-) Juan is around a lot to offer advises and helps. And it is a lively street, lined up with restaurants on the street downstairs....that being said if you can sleep with noise, you will like the convenience here. The room doesn't have a window, so no natural light, but if you just want to come back for sleep after a day's hard walking on streets, it will do for you perfectly.

Y cerca de su habitacion hay muchos barres o restaurantes! Estupendo! Todo es perfecto! 방도 깨끗하고 주인분도 친절하시구 영어도 가능하시니 대화하는데 문제없으실 것같습니다! 주변에 맛있는 타파집도 많고, 주변에 지하철역도 있어서 괜찮은거 같아요!!
Jun 27, 2019Everything was exactly like in the description, Juan was very helpful and communicative. The apartment was very clean and well situated in the center of Barcelona, with groceries etc. just round the corner. Great price for this standard. In the evening it was quite noisy because of the bars outside in the street but if you plan to stay out until midnight it won't be a problem at all, after it was calm and quiet.

Jun 27, 2019Communication with the host is very important to me, We arrived early around 10am since it was earlier than the check in time he let us leave our bags there, very nice. Juan Pablos's place is not too far from the airport about 20 to 30 minutes by bus(46) he was very friendly and made me feel like home, the bed was extremely comfortable. His place was better than what I expected, I'm looking forward for the next trip to magic Barcelona overall great place I highly recommended.

Besides the bedroom itself, you have access to 2 bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a small patio. It is located super close to public transport - both metro (Poble Sec stop) and bus (46 takes you straight to/from the airport). I would highly recommend Juan Pablo's place to a friend.

La petite chambre n'a pas de fenêtre mais les 2 autres plus grandes ont un balcon. L'endroit peut être un peu bruyant le weekend dû aux restaurants mais comme partout à Barcelone. Je recommande!
Jun 27, 2019Host was nice and place was clean. The neighborhood is interesting (lots of restaurants and monjuic park) to visit but loud at night. The room has no windows so it's not too loud. It also has a lock only from the outside but not from the inside. Be careful of the balcony, you can get locked out. Check-in was great. I was early and I got to sit in the living room until the room was ready.
Jun 27, 2019Juan is such a nice host! My late flight delayed and he was so patient and responsive while waiting for my check-in. I appreciate his kindness. The room is sufficient and clean, and the bathroom is clean and organized as well. The location is in a great neighborhood with lotta nice tapas places to try. Convenient to buy grocery. For sure recommend travelers to stay here!

Jun 27, 2019Poble sec역 인근에 위치한 Juan의 집은 생활하기에 무척 편했습니다. 제가 담배를 많이 즐기는 관계로 바깥 테라스에서 담배를 자주 피웠구요. 손수 커피를 타주기도 합니다. 집주인 Juan은 제가 Lamblas 인근 지역에 새 집을 구하는 것도 많이 도와주었구요. Zara Home에서 새 집에 필요한 많은 물품들을 직접 저랑 같이 가서 골라줄만큼 상당히 친절했습니다. 그리고 고딕지역에 위치한 저의 새 집까지 짐을 옮겨주기도 했구요. 제 생각엔 이런 사람은 세상에도 없을 듯 합니다. 그래서 Juan이랑 저는 친구하기로 했답니다. 바르셀로나에 유학온지 며칠 안되어서 벌써 자리를 잡아가는 듯 합니다. 혹시라도 바르셀로나에 여행오시는 한국분들이 계신다면 Juan의 집을 추천하고자 합니다. ^^ 앞으로도 바르셀로나에서 생활하면서 제 친구 Juan의 많은 도움이 기대되기도 하구요. 그럼 바르셀로나에 오시는 모든 한국분들 좋은 시간되세요.^^
Jun 27, 2019Pablo kept the place very clean and quiet for me and the other guests (I think there's 2 other rooms). The location was great. I stayed a week. I was stressed traveling solo in a big city but once I figured out the door and how to navigate the city, I was good. It's a couple minute walk to the Metro bus which for 5 Euros takes you to the airport (a 40 minute ride). The neighborhood, Poble Sec, is safe, has some bars and restaurants to hang out at and is great for a tourist. The Poble Sec metro is at the end of the street, the Parallel metro is a five minute walk, the D20 bus that takes you to beach is right there. At the most, everything is a 20 minute walk or a Metro bus or train ride and transportation is 24/7 here. Ideal for a tourist.

Jun 27, 2019No recomiendo este alojamiento. Fue un fraude. Está presentado en el anuncio como una habitación en una vivienda privada y en realidad es una PENSIÓN. Dice que hay que compartir sólo la ducha porque hay dos baños y en realidad hay que compartir los dos baños con todos inquilinos. A la entrada del edificio, el olor demuestra que hay problema en las cloacas. Toda la edificación es antigua y está reparada a las apuradas, con elementos muy económicos y muy elementales.

Jun 27, 2019Staying in Juan Pablo's appartement was great. The room is located in a very good area of Barcelona and it is also very close to the city center. The whole appartement was very clean and it has an air condition, which can be very useful in Barcelona in the summer. For me it was a perfect choice, as I was outside most of the time and used the room mainly for sleeping. What you should keep in mind, when you are booking is, that the room has no window. So if you spend much time there, it is maybe not the best choice. But who wouldn't want to spend most of the time outside in a city like Barcelona... :) Thank you for everything Juan Pablo!

Jun 27, 2019Juan Pablo is a very nice guy and was ready for me when I arrived. Blai Street, where the apartment is located, is awesome and has lots of great pintxos. It was the most local-feeling rambla I came across. You can walk up the hill nearby for a great view of the city and the barrio Gothic is very close. The walk from the bus from the airport to the apartment was about 10-15 minutes. The lock on my bedroom door was broken when I arrived, which Juan Pablo fixed that night. It broke again the following day. Wasn't a big deal and I wasn't even expecting a lock on my room, buy fyi.
Jun 27, 2019Juan is very kind, and made me feel quite comfortable. The area is very busy, full of bars, good for who is looking for that kind of vibe. The room I stayed was very little and has no windows, but was really clean. The property has a central air conditioning, and fans in the private rooms. The apartment is quite close to the metro station too.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is located in a very lively area, the street is full of restaurants where you can get tapas, and especially the atmosphere at night is lovely! The single room does not have a window but I personally could stand it since it wasn't too hot. The toilet is shared but everyone had different schedules so it wasn't much a problem either. However the insulation of the room is not great and I had a bad cough those days and very likely the people next door did not sleep well! Btw, Juan is a very nice and friendly host.

Jun 27, 2019Very small room with a bed, a small wardrobe with drawers only (there is a fan, but no windows). The room is very clean, as well as the apartment. Juan Pablo is a very nice host. Sometimes there is too noisy, depending on the other guests of the apartment. Great position, very nice the street full of pubs, and 1 minute to the Metro. Suggested for having fun and for saving money.

Jun 27, 2019Great location and great host! As I arrived Juan kindly offered me dinner that he had made and allowed me to settle into the place. He assured that if I needed anything or had any questions that all I needed to do was ask. His place was very clean and cozy. It’s located right off of a street that is pretty centrally located and lined with grocery shops and restaurants as well. The bus straight to the airport is only a 10 minute walk from his place and it only costs €2,50. Overall I highly recommend this Airbnb!

Jun 27, 2019Traveling alone can be scary, but I felt completely safe staying in Juan Pablo's home and neighborhood. Juan was very kind and welcoming. He offered me some food the day I arrived, and when it was raining he gave me an umbrella that I was able to use. He was very direct with the house rules and always communicating with me if anything occurred. The house was kept cleaned at all times. The room was just as cozy as I expected. The location was wonderful since it was close to the metro, shops, and restaurants. I had a wonderful one week stay here and I highly recommend it to anyone else. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

He is friendly, cheerful, really flexible (I arrived before check in and left before check out and he had no problem with it), he even surprised me with breakfast. His apartman is sparking clean, I’ve never seen a man clean so much :D It is a really good location, if you don’t mind walking a bit then many things are within walking distance, lots of shops and restaurants. Metro and buses just a few minutes away. Travelling solo, I couldn’t have chosen any better place.

Jun 27, 2019My stay with Juan Pablo was great. The communication before and during my stay was super fast in responding and easy. The apartment is easily accessible with Metro station Poble Sec. The location of the apartment is quite good, it took me 15 minutes by walking to the city center. Everything was very clean and well organized. I was totally satisfied with my stay at Juan Pablo's apartment. All in all I can totally recommend the place. I would do Airbnb with Juan Pablo again. Gracias Juan Pablo!

Jun 27, 2019Juan Pablo is an amazing host! He is super attentive, friendly and easygoing. He made my stay positive and comfortable. The room is as described and shown on the pictures. It was clean just like the whole apartment. Juan really knows how to keep his place clean :) I am lucky to have had such a nice host! The apartment is situated next to the metro station and close to Plaza de España which is really convenient. I definitely recommend this place. Jun 27, 2019Great place if you're looking for something super basic. It's close to a bus stop that takes you directly to the beach and about a 20 minute walk to the touristy areas. I also like many of the food options available. I guess the only downfall was not having a window, but it's totally worth it if you're out and about most of the time. JP was super responsive and lent me an extra towel when mine got soaked in a thunderstorm.

The apartment is just off the main road and I thought I had would experience issues with noise but once in the apartment everything is peaceful and quiet and I had a great sleep on both nights. The main road is littered with restaurants, shops, bars and everything in between. One direction takes you to the beach front and the other deeper into the city centre. I will definitely return to this apartment in the near future, Pablo was great!

Jun 27, 2019Pablo is a really nice guy with a big heart! He is very welcoming and you feel welcome as soon as you step into his apartment. Pablo puts great effort into making sure that you feel welcome, that everything is clean and tidy and that the isn't too much noise. The area can seem a bit shady at times, but the apartment is close to a big street and easy to get to from most of the rest of the city with no trouble. Great place, in walking distance to the most important sites and really easy to get to from the airport (one stop and ten minutes walk from the airport bus). It also seems like the public transportation is good in the area, but I didn't use it so I don't know too much about that.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed a week in the single room at Juan's and loved it. The bed was the most comfortable ever !! Juan is very nice and always available if needed. He does everything to keep the house clean and helps you with whatever you need. Also the location is perfect. You stay in a real local neigbourhood in a beautiful old building. Just outside there is one restaurant next to each other where you can sit outside. Also there are many local cafes everywhere with cheap breakfast deals. To the Ramblas you walk maybe 15-20 minutes and Placa España is 15 min walk- from there you can catch the airport bus. I highly recommend Juan's place and would lovectobstay there again on my next visit.

At one point there was a lock change at the fron entrance of his building and, within the hour, Juan had already went and cut new keys for his guests. The only thing I’d mention to future guests is to prepare not to make any excessive noise. In Juan’s building, you need to be extremely quiet to not bother the neighbors or any other guests. I would stay with Juan Pablo again.
Jun 27, 2019The room is a bit small but super clean. Not only the room also bathroom. The Metro station just right in the corner. Restaurant, super market are just nearby. Had a really nice stay at Juan's place.
Jun 27, 2019JP is a great communicator is and his apartment is located on one of the absolute best streets in Barcelona. The room is pretty basic and as you would expect but you should not be doing anything except sleeping there. The shower and bathroom are very nice and clean. I had a great time in Barcelona and JP’s location had much to do with it. Thanks again! Can’t wait to return.
