Located in the center of Eixample Esquerra, you can walk to all attractions. Museums, Art Nouveau Houses, Gardens, Churches, Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Las Ramblas. There is also a bus stop right in the portal, including Night Bus. Metro Station H. Staying at Ana's place was just a PERFECT experience!! It was my first AirBnB experience, but I was very happy that I found such a nice host like her. :) Since the moment I met her, her smile never left her face. :) She is very calm, kind, and very lovely. :) I stayed at a very pretty private room and everything was there, even TV and DVD Player. Also there was little air conditioner, so I could have cool nights in hot Barcelona. :) Ana is always helpful so whenever I asked for help, she always kindly helped me. :) She also speaks good English so there was no problem with communicating. :) Her place is very close from a metro station and the area is very very safe area. Also it is very close from Sants which is like a central station of Barcelona, so when you go to other cities or airport, you can reach them easily and quick. :) The area has everything you need.. bakery, super markets(even 24 hours one), book shop, internet cafe, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, etc.. and also there was night bus line from Catalunya 1 block away from the house. So when there is no more metro, I could come home safely by night bus. :) In a word, it was a very lucky and perfect choice staying at Ana's place. :) For me, it was more than just an accommodation because I met such a lovely and beautiful person as hostess and I know we will meet again and again as good friends in near future. :) All the best to you, Ana! Jun 27, 2019Ana is a delight and her home is spotless and always clean. It is in a wonderful part of town and you can get everywhere by metro, bus, or walking. At night it is quiet and cool and the room with a comfortable bed is right next to the bathroom. While you do share the bathroom with Ana you would never know she had been in it. It is almost as if she cleans it EVERY time she uses it. In the morning there is a big pot of coffee and some toast if you wish. I never ate breakfast as it is not my thing but was always glad the coffee was ready when I woke up.
Jun 27, 2019Anna was a welcoming and gracious host. My room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. Anna gave me plenty of privacy. She offered coffee, toast and jam for breakfasts, although I ended up buying food and making my own--she left me space in the fridge. Air conditioning took the edge off the heat; there was a fan in the bedroom and a small stereo as well as TV. I wasn't always comfortable in the Living Room as her bedroom and office were right off it, and she was often there, so I mostly kept to my room. Guests should note that while the room profile shows a washing machine, her notes say she will wash your clothes for 8 euros per load. The location was very good, just a couple blocks from the subway and within extended walking distance of several key sites. I was given keys so I could come and go as I pleased. I appreciated the quietness of the space. I would recommend this place to others.

She extends herself immediately and always, to attend to your comfort, as if in your own home, to feel at home. She can facilitate your being able to experience this slice of life in Barcelona and beyond, as you get to know her adopted city. You will be hosted by a very lovely person, very personable, open, friendly and caring, who will try to help you find the Barcelona you are looking for. I don't think you would find a better host anywhere, and she deserves the full trust she absolutely offers her guests from the first moment.

Ana is a great host and is very helpful in answering any questions I had about the city. She had advice about transportation and things to see during my first visit to Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Ana is a wonderful host and her apartment is very clean, in a safe charming and quiet neighborhood, with excellent Wifi. Very close to the metro and buses, but an easy 20 minute walk to most of the touristy type things but a nice calm space to come home to after a day if sightseeing. The room and apartment has all you need, nearby are several restaurants and bakeries, with non-tourist prices (ie good pricing). Ana provided maps and tips on all things Barcelona and was very easy going and personable throughout my stay. 100% recommend.

Jun 27, 2019Ana kindly welcomed me to her place and was knowledgable about the ins and outs of Barcelona. Her neighborhood is quiet and a ~15 minute walk from La Rambla. I felt safe walking around day or night. (I'm also male.) There is an elevator that goes to her floor & I was happy my rented bike fit inside that. The room was as described - the bed was comfortable, the apartment quiet, and I slept very well. I didn't spend much time hanging out during the day. The shower head had a little bit of trouble fitting in the holder but it was minor.

Me he encontrado muy a gusto, como en mi propia casa. La habitación completa y la cama muy confortable pero además ella esta pendiente d cualquier cosa que pudieras necesitar. No tengo más que palabras d agradecimiento y desde que pueda pienso repetir.

I got in Barcelona late at night and Annais was waiting for me, she gave me a quick and efficient tour of the apartment and of my room, explaining all the features and amenities available. Annais is a great host: very efficient, kind, understanding, helpful and discrete. I highly recommend this solution if you're looking to spend a few days in Barcelona!

Jun 27, 2019Annais welcomed me with a little packet, telling me her house was my house. I really appreciated the little map she provides with information about tapas, grocery stores, and pharmacies on the block. She gave me very useful tips and ideas a couple of time I interacted with her during my stay. The flat/room are exactly as shown in the photos. I tend to be private person, so when I was siesting or having to work, I tended to stay in my room. When she says she will leave you alone, she means it:) She let me have my much-needed space without making me feel weird about it. I really like the location. It is within walking distance to tourist attraction and the tourist busses. Two busses (right in front of her building) take you to the Placa Catalunya (sp), which you can use to A) take the bus to the airport and B) to start your walk down Las Ramblas. Another couple of buses, about two blocks away, go down Las Ramblas (from which you can turn off to Bari Gothic), one of those two going along the coast of La Barceloneta (sp). The Metro, which is two blocks away, is but 3 stops from La Sagrada Familia. I liked how I could get to everything but wasn't in a neighborhood of tourists (I do think I noticed other airbnb-ers in the barrio though!). The neighborhood was nondescript yet pleasant...

Me ayudó mucho a ubicarme en la zona, me aconsejó y fue muy predispuesta a ayudarme con todo tipo de situaciones cotidianas de mi nueva vida en Barcelona. La casa es muy limpia y te brinda mucha privacidad para leer o descansar. Todo muy lindo. La verdad no quería irme!

Te ayuda mucho en cuestión de moverte por la ciudad y conocer los lugares útiles cerca como supermercados, cajeros ... En cuanto al piso, está en pleno centro en una zona muy tranquila pero con muchas tiendas, restaurantes... La habitación está genial.. una cama enorme, televisión por cable, WiFi, calefacción central... que más de puede pedir? En resumen, lo recomiendo plenamente
Jun 27, 2019It was one amazing week, I passed one week for work and i sleep in Annais's house, she was very friendly with me, all the explication of the city and the room it's really cozy and hot, the bathroom it's perfectly working and biggest too, internet was super fast so i'm feel comfortable and i succede to working perfectly. Grazie davvero è stata una fantastica settimana, dovevo lavorare e sono riuscito a farlo anche la sera quando avevo bisogno di internet (super veloce). bagno grande, e comodo, stanza davvero molto accogliente tv via cavo armadio e comodino con una scrivania e uno specchio. She knew that I wouldn't make it in to the city until 8PM and was patiently waiting for me at the front door when I got out of the elevator to welcome me in. She then gave me a quick tour of the place and showed me my room and facilities she had set aside, and most importantly got me online as I needed to do some work! As I went out to meet my colleagues that evening I arrived, she gave me great directions on where I needed to go and was even kind enough to work out the quickest route for my business meetings, because of the TMB strikes on the bus and metro on different days. The house was always clean, I had a space in the fridge for my food and water, and the bathroom has a good shower with lots of hot water! Essential after a long day walking around! The hall light or a night light was always on when I came home in the evening so I wasn't walking in to walls, and thoughtful things upon my return, like my towels hung up and a fresh water glass were replaced during my four day stay, even though she didn't have to. I was there for work so I would leave in the morning and come home late at night. But on the occasions our paths crossed there was always a friendly Hola. I always felt welcome. Which makes me think I'd be happy to stay there for pleasure too!

Jun 27, 2019Yeah, it was quite nice during the four-nights's stay in Annais Lovely appartment. She said to me:"make yourself feel just like in your home." Also she gave me suggestion about the trip to the Tidabo, which is on the top of a hill, where you can see the panorama of BCN. And the Metro Station can be reached in 3 min. by foot. Fully recommended!

Elle a été d'une grande générosité (je me suis faite voler mon portefeuille peu de temps après mon arrivée à Barcelone et n'ayant plus rien sur moi, je me aussi rendue directement chez elle, plusieurs heures avant l'heure du "check-in", et elle m'a tout de suite donné accès à ma chambre, en plus de me dépanner le temps de recevoir de nouvelles cartes). Heureusement qu'elle était là! Je me suis donc tout de suite sentie chez moi et en confiance. Tout en étant d'une grande discrétion, elle a été disponible tout au long de mon séjour. Elle a su me donner de bons conseils pour les visites, expositions et endroits de restaurations intéressants. Et son appartement est très bien situé. De là, tout peut se faire à pied. Une première expérience avec airbnb absolument parfaite! Un gros merci Annais!

Jun 27, 2019Wer eine saubere und günstige Unterkunft möchte und zudem gut zu Fuß ist, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Ich zB bin von dort aus alles zu Fuß gegangen. Des Weiteren kann man in dieser Gegend super essen, da abseits von Touris! Also ich habe mich bei Annais sehr wohl gefühlt. Also, man kann gut von dort seine Routen starten und in umgrenzten Bäckereien (und was für tolle) coffee to Go mitnehmen und beim Nachhausegehen in schöne Tripvisor Tapas Restaurants gehen. Mir zB hat es gut getan Abends wieder in diese Wohngegend zu gehen und zwischen Enheimischen zu essen.

Jun 27, 2019Annais ist sehr hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und freundlich. Man kann die Küche mit benutzen. Ein Kühlschrank für Obst und Getränke und eine Kaffeemaschine für Dolce Gusto Kapseln. Einmal die Woche wird das Zimmer (neue Bettbezüge) und Badezimmer (neue Handtücher) gründlich gereinigt. Die Unterkunft liegt nahe an der U-Bahn-Station. Man kann sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten von hieraus schnell erreichen wie zum Bspl. Sagrada Familia, Stadion Nou Camp, Barceloneta Beach usw.. Es gibt einen Supermarkt, Bäckereien, Bars und Restaurants auch mit einem Mittagsmenü in der nähe der Unterkunft. Das Haus verfügt über einen Pförtner im Eingangsbereich und Aufzug.
Jun 27, 2019This time I was unlucky with my stay in Barcelona, as I got stuck in the anti-Spain-election-week. That's not Annais' foult, of course. But because of the demonstrations I was forced to stay at "home" a whole day and work from there. Annais' flat is not made for that: the room is rather small and has not enough natural light. also its' only window heads into a tiny light shaft - where mostly noise and smells from other kitchens is coming in. As I was not allowed to use the living room that day (because she is working there herself) it was rather inconvenient and dull. Still Annais is a nice person - although I was disappointed when she immediately did raise the price of the room when I started to ask whether it was available.

A Annais pode dar varias dicas sobre a cidade, burocracias, e muitas outras coisas. Vim para barcelona para viver por 6 meses e com certeza ter passado um mês em sua casa me ajudou muito para que eu conseguisse me adaptar a nova cidade. Além de excelente host é tambem uma pessoa muito boa, simpática e honesta.
Jun 27, 2019I came to Barcelona for a two week rotation at the Hospital Clinic. Annais’ place was a perfect accommodation— clean, comfortable bed, and Welcoming host. Annais is respectful to your privacy. She allowed me to use the apartment like it was my home. I stored some grocery in the refrigerator and even did laundry twice. The neighborhood is wonderful with plenty of great cafes. Also an unbeatable cost per day. Thank you Annais for your hospitality!

Jun 27, 2019There are many bars, restaurants and shops, and the location is very convenient and I enjoyed walking around neighborhoods. Annais is very neat and kept my privacy. I could stay comfortably. Thank you, Annais!
Jun 27, 2019Anna's apartment was very well positioned in the city, with a metro just a couple blocks away. She was very friendly, communicated well and kept the place tidy. I used this as a home base to keep all of my belongings while I traveled throughout Spain and the Balearic Islands. The only downside is that even with the fan in the bedroom, it was sometimes unbearably hot in the summer evenings. All-in-all, it exceeded my expectations and was a great value for my needs. Jun 27, 2019Excellent place to stay if you want to both explore the city center and to relax at home. Amenities are clean and modern and the place is surrounded with great restaurants. Annais' place is also situated very near to many attractions (i.e. Plaza de Catalunya) and close to numerous transportation options. As a host, Annais is extremely responsive and accommodating. Would definitely return again.

Jul 27, 2019Place was great! Clean and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Less than 2 blocks away from both the hospital and the metro, making it really convenient. Annais also respects my privacy a lot and that’s a great plus point for me. She could also be counted on for some tips around the town and area :)
