Sonia's house is amazing, very well decorated and extremely confortable. The ckichen was very well equipped, as well as all the house, the building has private garage which is perfect as we had a car and it is very difficult to park in the city center. The apartment is close to the city center, walking distance. Sonia was ver nice for us, we will definitely try to stay here again when we come back.
Jun 27, 2019Very strange owner, firstly she gave keys from flat, but after via SMS asked send Passport foto, because her husband want it, in no, HE will visit us in night. Looks like ultimatum, because there was not mention about providing ID in ad. Arrive at evening, owner did gave a full address, did not open a garage, initially i have parked car at noisy street with out parking space, take keys and repark car. Did't allow to drop the keys and leave the house without meeting owner. Why? no franсhise was taken. Why did she do it, I have not understand, she also was not able to explaine

Jun 27, 2019Really nice appartment. Everything seams new and in good conditions. Sonja was extreamly fraindly and helpfull! Location is not far from the "touristic" city center and easily reachable by walking. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

It is a modern, well decorated and spacious flat, with 2 bedrooms (1 suite/1 bedroom), a living room, kitchen, laundry and 1 WC. It´s very comfortable, with modern equipments, central heating and A/C, which was very useful, taking into account the time of the year. Sónia let us drop our bags even before the check-in time.

Jun 27, 2019Thanx to a a national strike in France of air traffic controllers, we arrived a bit late... :-/ But a kind Sonia was there to welcome us, and really thank you ! Her apartment, is absolutely like the photos, really, really nice !! We were in a quit place, few minutes walk from the historical center (15/20 minutes walk) and the great plus : a parking for the car. Again thank you Sonia our trip in Porto was great !

Jun 27, 2019Very beautifully decorated apartment about 3 minute walk from subway, or 15-20 from historic area. Secure car parking is a bonus! There were two large rooms with extremely soft beds and really cool mechanical blackout blinds as well as sheers. There is heat in all rooms (even the bathroom) and air conditioning in living room. All amenities were provided, including washer/dryer/2 coffee makers/ 2 sofas/2 bathrooms). Oddly, although there were 12 plates and 12 bowls, there were only 2 coffee mugs. We had some issues with check-in and no hot water for first 48 hours, and Sonia communicated well and tried to resolve the issues as quickly as possible and even offered some compensation (and treats!) for our troubles, which was greatly appreciated.
Jun 27, 2019Sónia is a great host! She always can help you fast with any questions. We lived here with our little daughter (4 years old) for a little bit more than a two weeks and it was great! Location is really central we used a metro just few times and yes metro station really close to apartment! The apartment itself is no comments! All you want to need to live here for a long time with family are included and interior design is stunning like in interior magazines :) and of course Porto! Porto became our number one city! Totally in love!

It is located right in the centre of town, and there is a wonderful patisserie just a few blocks down. It is about a 20 minute walk to the historic centre of Porto, but there is a metro station one block away. Sónia’s apartment is a wonderful place to stay if you are in Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Wonderful stay. We really enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were wonderful, i.e., comfortable matresses, spacious quarters with washer dryer. 20 minutes walking from center of town. Loved the beds, water pressure, two bathrooms, iron, and just great amenities. We would definitely stay there again. Loved Porto!

Walk to center of Porto is all downhill and nice. Porto itself was gorgeous! Sonia was extremely flexible and a lovely host who provided lots of great recommendations for things to do. Definitely an awesome place to stay

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful apartment in Porto, exactly as pictured and described : great amenities, clean, nicely decorated. Free and secure parking place was a huge plus. Quick check-in, easy check out. A little away from the historic centre (20mn walk) but nothing really problematic : a metro station is 2mn away and a cab ride takes less than 10mn. Sonia is easy going, flexible and helpful. She answered all our questions / requests as much as she could and made the effort to speak English which was really appreciated. If you are looking for a quiet and homey place to stay in Porto, this is it (especially if you have a car)! 100% recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Sónia es una excelente anfitriona. Sostuvimos una muy buena comunicación previo al viaje y durante nuestra estadía. Al llegar nos recibió muy gentilmente mostrándonos el apartamento y dándonos indicaciones sobre los lugares que no debíamos de perdernos en Porto. Nos tenía una botella de Oporto y unos pastelitos típicos de la región. También nos envió información de restaurantes y paseos que nos fueron de gran utilidad. El apartamento es muy cómodo aun más bonito que como aparece en las fotos; es muy luminoso y con una excelente distribución. Gran nitidez y limpieza. El lugar donde está ubicado es muy seguro, el metro está muy cerca, así como la estación de taxis. Dispone de un parqueo muy amplio, lo cual fue de gran ayuda para dejar el vehículo. También cuenta con todos los servicios que se indican. Con gusto volvería a hospedarme con Sónia.

Jun 27, 2019Sonia's apartment is beautifully appointed, very modern with plenty of space. Whilst it's a little ways out of town, there's plenty around (Bufete Fase is a few minutes away and did a great Francesinha). We didn't use the metro, but it is very conveniently located near by. One warning, if you park near by to orient yourself (this was just until we'd checked in), be warned that all on street parking is paid and heavily monitored.

The parking for our rental car was a huge bonus and a welcome relief as parking is not the easiest in Porto! Thank you for your kind hospitality and welcome to your beautiful city. Jun 27, 2019Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour chez Sonia! L'appart était mieux que sur les photos. C'était super bien à l'intérieur, un vrai AirBNB comme on les aime (où il a des instruments pour cuisiner, des gens ont laissé de l'huile, des épices, des choses de base pour cuisiner). Il y a un four, du lave-vaisselle, une laveuse, sécheuse (qui sont simples à faire fonctionner) et c'était assez grand. Il y a des rideaux métalliques qui se descendent avec un interrupteur et qui coupent complètement le soleil le matin. Un petit lit de bébé nous y attendait aussi pour notre bébé de 6 mois. C'était très bien décoré. Par contre, si vous avez de jeunes enfants qui aiment toucher à tout, faire bien attention à ranger les décorations pour éviter qu'ils ne les cassent! Il y a un stationnement privé pour l'appart en arrière. On est à côté d'un petit café qui fait des lattés incroyables pour 1 euro, sur le chemin du métro. Aussi, on est à 4 minutes à pied de l'épicerie (Pingo Doce). Seul petit accro, comme l'anglais n'est pas notre langue maternelle à toutes les 2, c'était parfois un peu difficile de se comprendre.
Jun 27, 2019L'appartement est à proximité d'un métro. C'est possible de faire une épicerie à 2 rues du lieux. L'appartement est très fonctionnel pour 2 couples. Il y a un lieux privé pour le stationnement d'un véhicule.
Jun 27, 2019Un piso genial e ideal para estar unos días en Oporto. Es tal como aparece en las fotos. El tener aparcamiento facilita muchísimo salir y entrar a cualquier hora si te llevas tu coche. Unos días geniales que nos supieron a poco. Si volvemos a Oporto repetiríamos.

Jun 27, 2019O espaço de Sónia no Porto é ótimo, muito bem localizado e muito agradável. A única ressalva é que existe um degrau para entrar no prédio e como eu viajei com uma pessoa que usa uma cadeira de rodas elétrica super pesada, tive problemas para acessar e sair do prédio. Fora isso tudo correu muito bem, tivemos um incidente de falta d'água que Sónia e seu marido resolveram muito rapidamente, ganhamos deliciosos pastéis de nata e várias dicas para aproveitar a cidade. O espaço estava muito limpo e organizado quando chegamos e fora o degrau, não tenho dúvidas que recomendaria para os amigos viajantes.

Jun 27, 2019This host and her family went out of their way to help us in our moment of need after we accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment late at night. They fully deserve the Superhost status that they have. The apartment is also very nice, and the location is very convenient, only a 5-minute walk from the metro station. The bedrooms are away from the street and very quiet, and the beds are very comfortable. We slept soundly every night.

Jun 27, 2019O apartamento é bem localizado, possui uma ótima estrutura, espaçoso, camas confortáveis, eletrodomésticos úteis, Wi-Fi excelente, estacionamento também execelente, o checkin e checkout super práticos. O aquecedor funciona bem e de forma automática. A única questão que não achei agradável foi a acústica das paredes, pois se ouve tudo o que é falado de um quarto para o outro, mesmo em tons baixos de voz.

Jun 27, 2019Sonia's place was clean and beautiful! It was just up the road from everything you want to see in Porto. You can walk to town or take an uber for just a few euro. We only stayed 1 night but next time hope to stay 3 or 4. Thank you, Sonia!

Everything worked well - the toilets, showers and washing machine. We also found a great little restaurant which had amazing grilled seafood. I would recommend this to any family.
Jun 27, 2019O apartamento é lindo, muito bem localizado, bem decorado. Apenas seria necessário mais utensílios de cozinha (panelas, travessas) para hóspedes que gostam de cozinhar em casa. Tivemos alguns problemas com aquecimento da casa e esperávamos um retorno mais ágil na solução dos mesmos. Talvez a época de réveillon tenha prejudicado a comunicação, mas isto foi um fato um pouco desconfortável. Do restante tudo ok.

Jun 27, 2019La casa es perfecta muy cómoda bien decorada. Yo fui en coche y la verdad la casa esta muy bien ubicada para ir al centro y a la playa. La mañana cuando hay sol las habitación se inundan de sol. Me hubiese gustado tener un canal de TV en Español o Frances. Sonia muy cariñosa y disponible. Repetiré otra vez.

O apartamento está muito bem localizado, a decoração do local é fantástica, as camas são super confortáveis, a sala espaçosa, a cozinha equipada. A vaga para parqueamento é um plus. Sónia está sempre disponível para qualquer dúvida e para auxiliar na resolução de qualquer inconveniente. Altamente recomendável.

The appartement is not very far from the major attractions via taxi or subway. We were also delighted by the tea and cookies she prepared for us. We had some problems with heat of water, but overall we didn’t have any other problem. Would highly recommend this place!
Jun 27, 2019Het hippe appartement van Sonia zag er bovengemiddeld goed uit. Lekker veel handdoeken. Heerlijke badkamers, een en al luxe. In keuken ook alles wat je maar kan wensen van nespresso tot koffiezetter enz. Cv ook geen overbodige luxe in maart in Porto. Metro 500m lopen. En stad ook beloopbaar 15-20 minuten. Appartement is hip gemeubileerd. Alles zag er gewoon goed uit... Incl Sonia . Parkeren op eigen terrein achter een garagedeur. Dus auto staat ook veilig en van de straat. 5 slaapplaatsen. Sonia ook zeer behulpzaam en geeft tips conform je wens. Top ervaring.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Sónia's apartment with my boyfriend and friends and we very enjoyed the space and super comfortable beds. Everything was clean and in walking distance to the centre. Sónia was very flexible with our check-in time and also gave us some good tips for the city. We'd definitely recommend staying there as it also has a free and safe parking space, which was important for us with our rental car.

Jun 27, 2019Superbe appartement, très propre et à la décoration soignée. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille, tous le monde était satisfait. L’appartement n’étant pas loin du centre ville, tout peut se faire à pied et la place de parking est vraiment un plus. Jun 27, 2019Très bel appartement, bien décoré, avec une belle place de parking sécurisée. Il est situé à proximité du métro, ce qui est très pratique lorsqu'on voyage avec des enfants. Sonia nous a très bien accueillis avec un bouteille de Porto et des gâteaux typiquement portugais! Un tout petit bémol: la cuisine manque un peu d'équipements à mon goût (comme un grille-pain par exemple), mais rien de bien grave. A recommander sans hésiter.

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful apartment, good location (easy walk downhill or subway ride back). Nice to have a safe place for the car. Grocery store nearby and great meal at Churrascuria Paradis around the corner. We found the beds pretty hard but that’s probably just us not being used to a platform bed. Good fit for four adults.

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento es muy amplio, luminoso y bien equipado. El vecindario es tranquilo y el apartamanto da hacia el interior resultando muy silencioso. Hay transportación pública frente al edificio y el metro se encuentra muy cerca; al centro de la ciudad se llega en 20 mimutos caminando. La anfitriona fue muy diligente y contestó rápidamente todas nuestras preguntas. Fue muy amable al llevarnos agua, té y galletitas para comenzar nuestra estadía. De volver a Oporto allí me quedaría nuevamente.

Jun 27, 2019L’appartamento è bello, spazioso e luminoso. Eravamo in tre e avevamo molto spazio. Ottima la posizione, abbiamo sempre camminato per andare in centro (15/20 minuti) altrimenti la fermata della metro è a 2 minuti. Ottimo il parcheggio nel cortile della casa. La zona dove si trova non è bellissima, ma estremamente funzionale, ci sono ristoranti, bar, negozi. Noi ci siamo trovati molto bene e comunicare con la proprietaria è stato molto semplice e veloce.

Jun 27, 2019Very clean, well located & secure apartment. We had a small issue with the air conditioning as currently air conditioning is only in the living area. The bedrooms were very warm at night. In saying that Sonia & Nuna were extremely helpful & supplied us with a portable air conditioning system at very short notice. It was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this apartment for a short stay
Jun 27, 2019My wife and I stayed for 3 weeks. Although it is not "downtown" it is a block from the metro that gets you there in only a few minutes. Uber works well in Porto and is inexpensive. Ride to city center is 3 to 4 euros (1.20 on metro). Quite neighborhood so you can open the big windows and let the sun and cool air in. Grocery store nearby along with bakeries, butchers, fruit stands, wine shops, restaurants and bars. Apartment is large, well equipped and stylish. Kitchen is large and functional and there is a full size washer and dryer which is nice for long stays. The building's common areas are well kept and clean too. Off street private parking is also a nice luxury if you have rented a car. All-in-all this is a great option for Porto.
Jun 27, 2019Sonia saved my friends and I after our other Airbnb host cancelled a few hours before check-in. She was friendly and communicative, and her apartment was so, so lovely. The place was sparkling clean, it had very cool electronic window shades to block out the light, and was tastefully decorated. Thank you Sonia!

Jun 27, 2019My sister and I have stayed in Sonia's apartment for 2 nights during our trip to Porto. Below are the positive point about our stay as well as an issue that we have had. The Positives: 1. Apartments is big and clean. 2. It is conveniently located, close to the Metro station an to the city center. 3. There is big, comfortable car parking on premises. 4. Sonia was very responsible when we had a small issue with the bathroom sinks. The issue was resolved very quickly. 5. Our flight from Porto was later in the evening and Sonia was very nice to let us check out of the apartment an hour later. The checking-in issue: We called Sonia a day before our arrival to Porto to let her know that we will be coming to the appointment late in the evening the next day and to get instructions on how to check-in. Sonia asked us to call her 30 minutes before our arrival. The next day we were driving from Lisbon to Porto. We called Sonia about 5 times between the hours of 7 and 10 pm and did get any response. We checked an email in 7pm and found an email from Sonia sent from Airbnb at 18:34 where she was asking us to come to her house to pick up the apartment's keys. We sent her SMS, that we will do that and asked for her house's address. After that we did not get any response from Sonia until we actually arrived to the apartment at 10:15 pm. At that time Sonia called us and sent the address of her house. It took us additional 1.5 hour to go there, meet Sonia, get all the instructions, drive back and finally get into the apartment. This was rather unpleasant experience after 4 hours drive from Lisbon. One more, hopfuly, temporary problem. Some distant neighbour started consruction at 9am both morning and woke me up. Earplugs were solution for it. Still, overall, our stay in Sonia's apartment was pretty good and we enjoyed our time in Porto.

Jun 27, 2019This is a nice apartment in a good location but was still our first disappointment with an airbnb. Check-in was the first problem. Two messages the day of check-in were unanswered, finally we phoned and were told we would be met at 4 p.m. No-one came, so phoned again, and were told there in 5 minutes. Still no-one came but then an assistant called to say there in 5 minutes. It was much longer than that. We wound up waiting outside the door for almost an hour unable to go anywhere because we were supposedly going to be met right away. The second problem was when we were finally in it was obvious the place hadn't been cleaned since the last guests. Used towels were on the bathroom floor and beds had not been made; the cleaners arrived relatively quickly but this was still inconvenient. On top of that were a number of smaller annoyances that added up. The assistant told us the heating radiators worked but they didn't. There were air conditioning units that we could use for heat but not in all rooms and they were hard to operate and to have even heat. The standing lamp shown in the living room photo in the ad was without a bulb and its broken cord was wrapped around it. The filter coffee maker was missing a carafe and the pods supplied didn't fit the other coffee maker which required a particular brand. There was not enough toilet paper supplied for four guests for three nights. The toilet paper and coffee pod issue was finally resolved just before the third night. The host also provided a few goodies at that time to try to make up for the issues. She assured us this didn't usually happen but we hope in future she will be more consistent with devoting attention to preparing the apartment for guests.

Jun 27, 2019O apartamento é excelente, muito confortável e amplo. Tem todos os utensílios e muitos itens de conforto, me senti em casa. A localização é boa, apesar de não ser central está a apenas alguns metros de uma estação de metrô que te leva para qualquer lugar do Porto. A vaga de garagem foi muito útil, é ampla e coube uma van grande que eu havia alugado. Recomendo fortemente este apartamento e pretendo voltar a me hospedar nele no futuro
