Horses train every morning from 3am to 10am. The best time is while the sun is rising over the racetrack. Kensington is in the middle of some of Sydney's best suburbs. This not only makes transportation easy, but provides an abundance of good choices when ordering ubereats. Great location, great studio and unique atmosphere with views over the horse race track! I would definitely stay there again. Oliver is a great guy and it was a breeze to communicate with him! I had an awesome stay!

Jun 27, 2019This was my first airbnb and I can hardly put this property into words. The place was clean and comfortable and the view from the balcony was amazing. Waking up in the morning and hearing the horses clip clopping around Randwick racecourse was special and unique. Oliver was super accomodating and he was a great host. I was only there for a night but will definitely stay again!

Jun 27, 2019Oliver is a great host and we find his place suitably located for our purpose i.e. very near UNSW. His studio is also very clean and adequately equipped. He even provided drinks, a fruit basket, ice cream etc! Thanks Oliver. We will certainly be back.

Jun 27, 2019This is a very nice clean studio, if like Horse Riding this is your spot, the place is very clean in safe neighborhood, Oliver was very helpful with the check in process, and there many good stuff such as coffee, beer, oatmeal, butter, cleaning stuff, dish washer, washing machine, drying machine etc.. It was A+ stay keep up the good work guys thanks for everything
Jun 27, 2019Oliver has been absolutely awesome. Communication is so easy. The apartment is clean and neat. Travelled for work so bus to CBD is only 17mins away. Everything you need is all there. Even Netflix to relax after a busy day at work. Would definitely will come back to stay when I am back. Thank you Oliver!
Jun 27, 2019This is my 2nd time stayed there, and this apt is still amazingly wonderful. The view is really good, nice ambiance, clean and quiet. It's really family friendly. The host also very kind, they prepared everything nicely before we came to the apt. They really cooperative and helpful. Last time i came, they even put welcoming fresh fruits & milk. Definitely will be back there again when i come to Syd!
Jun 27, 2019This is our second time in 3 months that we are back to this place. That tells a lot of my preference for this airbnb. We love the location - near shops and restaurants and especially its proximity to UNSW where my son is now studying. It is clean and well equipped. To top it all, Oliver is a great host being very flexible and responsive. I would highly recommend his place to everyone.

Jun 27, 2019Olivers place is absolutely beautiful! It has a stunning view over the racecourse, so it's a very quiet and peaceful part of Sydney. The apartment was so clean with a very elegant and sophisicted style, I felt so comfortable and right at home. The location is perfect for getting around anywhere in Sydney, close public transport and only a 10 minute drive to city, double bay, Alexandria- it's perfect! I will definitely be staying again! Jun 27, 2019My husband and I stayed here for a week. The place is great, it had everything we needed. We checked in on a Saturday (race day) and got to watch some of the horses race by from the balcony...with a glass of wine! I also enjoyed watching the horses being trained/walked early in the mornings. The TV was huge and we enjoyed watching Netflix/Stan. Having WiFi was also a bonus. We would definitely recommend friends/family to stay here. We would stay again. Thanks Oliver!

When it said trackside at Randwick I didn't really expect that I would be able to sit on the lovely balcony watching the horse train in the morning, like I was in a track side grandstand but that is exactly what happened! It is spacious for a studio, thoughtfully furnished and beautifully clean. I really enjoyed my stay.
Jun 27, 2019This apartment presented just as anticipated. Terrific location quiet, relaxing, light comfortable and sunny. We only ate in for breakfast but having breakfast on the balcony in the sun with the horses training and the picturesque Randwick Racecourse on your door step was quite special. Oliver was very welcoming and leaving a bowl of fresh fruit on the dining table was a very nice touch. Highly recommend this property

Jun 27, 2019My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Oliver's place at 'The Stables'. It is new, fresh, comfortable with everything you need and a beautiful balcony opening up to the breeze. We really enjoyed the view overlooking the racecourse, and loved watching the horses getting walked past the apartment. We needed to stay close to the Prince of Wales hospital and I particularly liked that there was a secure car parking space for our car.

Close to bus stops which go to CBD/beaches etc. everything you could need in the apartment and great view right onto the racecourse, would highly recommend Oliver’s place to anyone, he was very helpful & efficient with any questions we had!
Jun 27, 2019Oliver’s apartment is conveniently located and has good quality equipment. He is also very responsive. However it appears that he has not paid attention to the cleanliness aspect and we found the place to be quite unclean with used unwashed bed sheets and covers and smelly towels. The supplies were also running low and we had to replenish them (though he did reimburse us). The trash can had something sticky and gooey in it so we just used trash bags without the dustbin. The tea supplies were past expiry date. All in all an unpleasant experience - wouldn’t go there again. Oliver says his cleaners let him down! Anyway, he refunded the cleaning fees, but frankly I expected a clean place to begin with with a so called “5 Star” host. Spoiled our trip. Never again!
Jun 27, 2019Great view of the racecourse and a good place to be away on business. Everything needed to cook a meal was there plus a stash of various sauces, herbs and spices. Mostly very quiet, but expect to hear the clip clop of horses passing by the window in the early morning.

Jun 27, 2019For my three day work stint at the UNSW this was a perfect base. Clean, quiet and comfortable. I liked the minimalist yet stylish decor. The shower was great, and the kitchen had everything I needed and more. Oliver is a lovely host. I needed his help with a couple of things and he was responsive and considerate. An enjoyable stay.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is exceptionally clean, comfortable and perfectly presented. Oliver is extremely hospitable and lightning fast with communication and thoughtfulness. He went above and beyond letting me drop off some luggage early. Easy check-in/ out and perfectly located for quietness, yet close to anything you need. Everything was much better than expected, don't hesitate to book this place because I will next time I have the opportunity. The view of the race track while having coffee each morning was pretty cool too!

Well fitted out with everything that I needed for my stay. Clean, fast wifi, netflix, comfy bed, view over Randwick racetrack, good cooking facilities and bathroom. Oliver was quick to respond to any communication. Thanks Oliver for the stay.

Jun 27, 2019A great modern spacious apartment in a secure apartment complex. Perfect for what I needed. Has a laundry & full kitchen & basic kitchen essentials which was great for the meals I cooked. Also excellent public transport options only a few minutes walk away. Fantastic to have a secure car park if you do have a vehicle. The bed was also super comfy. Oliver was great to deal with always replying straight away. My only negative would be that it can be a little noisy. You can hear the lift which is just outside, the family with kids next door & the horses training in the morning. I am however a very light sleeper so may not be an issue for others & despite this I had a great stay & would recommend highly.

Jun 27, 2019My wife and I loved Oliver's studio! Very clean and modern with beautiful views of Royal Randwick Racecourse. You get to see the trainers take their gorgeous horses for their afternoon stroll as you relax out on the balcony overlooking a plant nursery and the racetrack. The amenities were great and Oliver was very quick to respond to any enquiries. The studio is located in very close proximity to a lot of great restaurants. We were very happy with our stay.

Next door neighbours and kids slightly noisy and apartment is next to elevator so there is a little bit of noise at night time. Nothing to deter you from booking this great space!
