Unique Benefits at this Condo: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Our guests LOVE our central location along the Royal Coconut Coast on Kauai's east side. Close to any Hawaiian amenity or activity you can imagine and making it easy to for day trip to either end/shore of the beautiful 'Garden Isle' of Kauai. We are also right in front of Sleeping Giant Mountain with 3 hiking trails on different sides to enjoy the spectacular views of the Royal Coconut coast line. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time on the beautiful 'Garden Isle' :)

A great place to stay!!! We completely enjoyed our stay at this condo. The size was great for the four of us and the kitchen was a real bonus as it was clean and equipped wit;h the basic needs for the week. We appreciated having extra beach towels and the cooler was a nice touch. The location was great as it wasn't too far from the airport in Lihue. We really enjoyed walking around the Coconut Market in the evenings to complete our day. The beds were comfortable and the place generally felt clean and comfortable. Love the storage closets!!! Lovely stay at Pete's place near Coconut Marketplace! Good location near the beach. The condo itself is neat, clean and stocked with everything you need, but definitely no frills. A little decor brush-up wouldn't hurt.

Jul 27, 2019Very comfy soft bed, two large rooms so that you have enough place for your luggage, balcony with entry to the garden. Very close to the pool and also to the beach but you can't swim there. Internet access was ok. We enjoyed our time very much and can only recommend it.
Jun 27, 2019Location of the condo is great for us who were first timers to Kauai. Very walkable to many good restaurants, grocery stores and Kapaa downtown. It's also centrally located so that we didn't have to drive far to both north and south side of the island. Condo was clean and well stocked with necessities for our stay, and most importantly for us is that the AC works great on the hot days. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
Jun 27, 2019Love, love, love - highly recommended!! Great location, easy check-in, beautifully furnished and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Not sure why others called this place utilitarian because Pete & Judi's place was adorably furnished with wonderful little extras like sunscreen, aloe, beach gear, kitchenware, disposable plates/cups, cold ac, great bath products...too many to name. The beds and big fluffy pillows were extremely comfortable and the lanai was peaceful. Their place is right in the heart of the island with easy access to anywhere you want to go from north to south. This place couldn't have been better for our getaway and will be my go-to spot and top recommendation on Kauai from here on out. Mahalo!
Jun 27, 2019Wonderful! Perfect for our family - a quiet spot, easy access to swimming pool and hot tub, comfy beds, and centrally located to explore all of Kauai! It is well cared for and clean with all the needed amenities to live comfortably. Grocery stores and shops are nearby. The staff of the condo/resort are helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
Jun 27, 2019This is a very nice unit, quite well furnished, and it worked very well for us. The kitchen was equipped well enough for us to have all our evening meals in the unit. The location is nice with shopping close by and you're in the middle of Kauai. One item I would point out is that the washer and dryer promised in the listing is not in the unit but in a shared laundromat room down the hall. Not what I was expecting. I would recommend this unit.

It is a true one bedroom, but we had two queen size beds, so it would be perfect for a couple with young children or just two friends, who don’t mind sleeping in the same room , but want to have their own beds. The location is great as you are very close to Kapaa where you have great food spots and little shops. You are also walking distance from a drug store that’s opened until 10pm most days (that’s actually late on Kauai). All the communication with host went smoothly. I strongly recommend staying here!

Jun 27, 2019房子离机场大概20分钟路程,配备完整的厨房设施,适合爱自己煮食的中国人,当然如果能提供电饭锅就更完美了｡房子所在的小区环境优美,有免费泳池,洗衣房就在楼内,2.50美元一机含洗衣和干衣｡出门对面走3分钟可及至海边,旁边是一个购物点,但如需购买食材,可开车去附近的沃尔玛购买｡
Jun 27, 2019Liked the proximity to the market and shopping area. Location was central and easily accessible for our needs (visiting both North and South). Beach is small but quite place to sit and enjoy the view. Not swimmable due to undertow. Complex was well cared for.
Jun 27, 2019Really nice space. Excellent location next to shopping and morning markets twice a week. Short walk to the beach and a great cabinet full of beach supplies for both us and our daughter. Our daughter loved running around in the yard so we met the neighbors who were also fantastic. Having a full kitchen was awesome! We had not realized how small full beds were (we are both really tall), so we ended up using the pull out couch, which I don't recall being part of the listing, but which was super helpful. Perfect place for the three of us to start our adventure. Thank you!
Jun 27, 2019Pete and Judi's place was really nice and cozy, with great furniture and decor. I felt very at home there. It was also the perfect location, not too far from anything you'd want to see and close to the beach. Pete and Judi provide a lot of "extras" at their place such as beach chairs, coolers, ice packs, beach towels, etc. which means less stuff you need to buy or pack. I would recommend asking them for the full list before you pack anything! I was super happy that they provided a blender so I could make my daily protein smoothies! The unit also has a huge patio and there is a pool and spa on the property as well as a barbecue grill very nearby. There is also laundry nearby in the building (not in the unit). I would definitely stay here again without hesitation! Thanks Pete and Judi!

Jun 27, 2019Spacious apartment. Nicely landscaped complex. Strip mall with grocery store at walking distance. Also at walking distance to the beach, but this beach is not very nice (lots of big rocks, very little sand). Good location to explore Wailua Valley or the North Shore by car. Excellent communication by hosts.

Jun 27, 2019Pets and Judi’s place was ok. It is centrally located in Kapa’a and was walkable to the nearby marketplace and some restaurants. The beach is not swimmable at all due to high surf conditions and there is a wall separating the property from the beach which wasn’t very appealing. It was overall a good value and had a good central location for traveling to different parts of the island.
Jun 27, 2019Enjoyed our time staying at Judi and Pete's place. The location was convenient to reach the beach within a short walk. Grocery stores and restaurants are also within a short walk. Complex is relaxing and close to pool and jacuzzi. Judi and Pete responded quickly when I had questions. Great place. I would stay at again.

Jun 27, 2019Kapa'a is a nice place to stay since it's centrally located and easy to get to everywhere on the island from here. This particular area, however, is not super walkable (like much of Kaua'i). It's one of those strip-mall-style areas that's built for cars and doesn't even have sidewalks. The beach is behind an unattractive concrete wall, and is not amenable to swimming or snorkeling. The place itself is beautiful: Nice layout, very comfortable, and stylish. The laundry is at the end of the hall, accessible w/ your keycard. The check-in office is incorrectly located on (Hidden by Airbnb) maps (I just submitted a change, so it may be successful by the time you read this): the building is actually near the end of Aleka Loop, not the middle. The apartment buildings are organized by letter (GHI, DEF, etc.). The check-in office is near building A.

Jun 27, 2019Pete and Judi’s place is in a perfect location on Kauai. It is close to shops and amazing beaches. Also about half way between the north and south ends. Perfect for seeing the whole island. Being closer to local shops and restaurants made the trip even better. I had such an amazing time on the island I can’t wait to go back.

Jun 27, 2019Pete & Judi are wonderful hosts! Very clean, easy to access, and is perfect for kids. They maintain a well stocked closet of beach goodies (body boards, cooler, mats, etc) as well. Would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Kauai!
Jun 27, 2019Wow, for us, this place was really about location. We loved how accessible the beaches were - made it easy to go see the sunrise every morning. We loved its proximity to Costco and other shops and coffee in downtown Kapaa. And we loved that, being on the East shore, it was about midway to access North and South shores - not even a bad drive to the West!
Jun 27, 2019This is a good solid rental in Kapaa. It is spacious for a condo, has a well equipped kitchen, good air conditioning, and is very nicely furnished. The patio was small, but we were happy to stay indoors. Location was good -- walking distances to a Long's Drugs, and just down the highway from lots of supermarkets and cafes. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the nicer beaches, a little further than we expected but quite acceptable. The beaches locally have a lot of wave action, so don't expect to snorkel. Traffic in and out of the Kapaa area (particularly going south) was pretty heavy in the late afternoon/early evening. Morning is a better time to venture to other parts of the island. If you stay here, it is also useful to investigate the back roads in and out of Kapaa.

Jun 27, 2019Pete and Judi's place was nice and clean and in a great central location. It was great to have a stocked kitchen to make some of our own meals. The cooler, boogie boards, sunscreen, and beach mat were nice touches. The grounds were beautiful too. The air conditioner wasn't working while we were there, but Judi let us know about that well in advance and provided a portable air conditioner. My only complaint was not having any housekeeping during our 10-day stay. It would have been nice to have clean towels and extra toilet paper.

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed our stay in this very nice condo located in Kapaa. The location is central to a lot of the activities and destinations on the island and there are many restaurants, grocery stores and other services nearby. The complex has three swimming pools with spas, and the ocean is a 5 minute walk away. I enjoyed daily walks along the beach, and swimming and sunbathing at a nearby pool. On a few nights, we grilled food, using the outdoor grill provided for guests. Overall we enjoyed this stay very much.
Jun 27, 2019For me, the kitchen was a selling point. Every appliance worked great and there were lots of other kitchen amenities that I didn’t expect. The condo was centrally of located and we were able to walk or drive with ease wherever we wanted to go. The air conditioner worked great too! I would stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Great location as convenience stores near by and large shopping center about 15 min walk away. It is also fairly close to airport and great beach - Lyngate Park. Place was super clean and there were 3 pools onsite. Restaurants at the resorts a short walk away. Pete and Judi had many little conveniences that made it much easier for us (cooler, lawn chairs, beach mat, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc). We stayed at four different places in Hawaii but this was by far the best. Thanks!
Jun 27, 2019Great local spot in Kapa'a. Centralized location where everything is in walking distance (and we recommend walking, traffic can be thick). Local beach is secluded enough that very few people are present, yet has easy access. Pete and Judi were very concise and straightforward. We thank them for allowing us to stay in their awesome home on the eastern shore line!
