All the important monuments, squares and picturesque places of the city can be found within walking distance: Lello Bookstore, Clérigos tower, Bolhão traditional market, Rua das Flores, Rua Sta. Catarina, Capela das Almas, and Porto typical narrow streets. The riverside, Ribeira, one of the most beautiful and colorful areas of the city, is 15 min away. From there you can cross the Luís Bridge to Gaia, where you'll have the best view of Porto. Also, that's where all Port Wine cellars (which do tours and wine tastings) are based. Only 10 min away from the apartment you can also find the trendiest night spot, with all sorts of bars and restaurants.
