It is only three minutes away from darling habour, we can also have a view of darling ha our from balcony! All of my family are satisfied with this house and we will definitely choose to live here again when we comes to Sydney next time!
Jun 27, 2019Danny was great in accommodating to poor organiseation on my part and allowing us to drop our bags off early, and we were greeted by his brother. Danny's place was super convenient for a few of us staying in the city, however it is in a serious state of disrepair, including bathroom tap, shower doors, wardrobe doors, balcony doors etc. we're all broken in some way. Furniture was of low quality you could feel it, especially the beds. Just seemed like basic cheap furniture, compared to other Airbnbs I have stayed at, the quality of this was poor. Despite the great location and affordable price, myself and the other guests probably would not stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Awesome location. So central to everything! No parking but there's a parking station about six doors down and the weekend rates are great! The bedrooms were huge and the beds comfy. I didn't realise there were 3 bathrooms also. We didn't stay in the apartment long but it was really comfortable when we were there. Thanks for having us!

The pictures don't do enough justice - the apartment is really spacious with the added bonus of three bathrooms, which is great for a group! Danny was a very accommodating host and I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

Jun 27, 2019Danny's place is very well placed for access to Darling Harbour, Barangaroo and Circular Quay. Hotel level amenities were provided. However, we had difficulty connecting to the wifi and the TV only seemed to work sometimes, so don't stay here if they are necessities for you. Views are outstanding, but city noise can disturb light sleepers. The apartment is furnished in a very old way and is in some need for repair/refurbishment. The lobby and gym/pool, however, are new and excellent.
Jun 27, 2019Dannys apartment was in the perfect location. Everything on your doorstep. Very spacious apartment, great for girls weekend with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and lots of wardrobe space. The apartment is a bit tired and could do with some improvements in some places but overall great. Danny was an excellent host. Any queries were answered and dealt with immediately. He also allowed us a late check out. So thank you Danny and see you next time!!

But unfortunately the air conditioner, oven and parts of the stove not work during our stay. Hope host can fix them soon as to bring the best experience to guests. Not bad experience at all.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is large and suited our family of 6. Danny was a great host and allowed us to leave our bags in the room after checkout time. Some of the apartment was renovated and new but other areas like carpets and kitchen were pretty tired.

Jun 27, 2019Danny's place is very close to Darling Harbour and about 10-15 minutes walk to China town. There are a few convenience shops nearby and supermarkets are within 5-10 minutes walk. Food is not a problem at all as Nando's is right opposite of the road and there are cafes within 1-2 minutes walk. Despite being in a prime location, this apartment is located on a quiet street so sleep is not much of a problem. We are a family of 6 adults and 1 toddler and everyone enjoyed the stay.

We visited for the Sydney marathon and so wanted to do some home cooking, the kitchen was moderately equipped and not fully set up for 6 guests to cook and have a big meal. It could be better equipped for this but there was enough to make do and given how many restaurants and cafes there are in the local area, it was not much of a problem.

Jun 27, 2019Danny respond promptly and friendly. I didn't meet him in person and my friend checked in with Danny's accompany. The apartment is as same as the pictures while the decoration quite simple. Only problem is that ceiling of one bathroom leaked for the first two nights we stayed which caused some inconvenience. After contact Danny he fixed it, thank you Danny! The apartment is quite close to city center-- walk 7 minutes to QVB and Westfield shopping center, 10 minutes walk to Hyde park and Sydney tower. Besides, opera house and harbour bridge also on the walking distance. We can easily see the harbour view from the balcony of Danny's apartment which is enjoyable. All in all, we glad found Danny's apartment and enjoy our stay.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment was huge and in an excellent location. You can walk to most major sites within 15 minutes. The TV and wifi worked really well and there were plenty of places nearby to buy food at restaurants and grocery stores. Danny was very nice and easy to communicate with. However, while this apartment can be a great value for a large group, it was a little rough around the edges. For example, the oven was caked with grease and there was an old carpet and doors on the balcony. Also, there were supplies to repair the drawer rollers in the bedroom. However, my 8 year old pulled a drawer out on her foot which took us to the ER for an afternoon so I'm thinking the repair hadn't been completed. Overall a good value and good apartment, but we found it to be a little less excellent than we expected.

Location is quite favourable to those like to walk everywhere. 20mins walk to fish market, sydney harbour or less than 10 mins walk to the Sydney tower, Westfield, QVB.... slightly outdated with the furnishing however since we only stayed for 2 nights so overall still acceptable.

Public transportation was very near and many sites to visit were within walking distance or by bus. We enjoyed the ability to cook or go out to eat. The apartment was stocked like home. the availability of a washer and drying made it even more attractive. Clean and set up great...

Danny was great about letting us leave our luggage in the apartment after check out until our flight that afternoon. Some small things such as scuff marks on walls and wardrobes/doors that dont work as well as they could. But everything was clean and it was good value for money so those little things were not an issue.

Jun 27, 2019Danny and his brother's communication was perfect from the get-go ensuring my friends and I were able to check in very late at night. They were very attentive and helpful hosts. The apartment was HUGE!!! photos don't do it justice. Easily hosted a group of 7 guys with ease, with heaps of room to move around. Place was clean and we'll equipped, and made me forget that I was staying at an apartment and not a hotel. The location was also top notch, and a short walk to the ivy. For the price, location and the ability to sleep 8 comfortably, this place is a godsend!!!! Thanks Danny, will definitely be coming back.

Jun 27, 2019The place was really excellent. We were 5 women having a night in Sydney for a show and finding somewhere for 5 single people to sleep was amazing. We could quite comfortable have been a family of 7 as 2 of the beds were queens. The location was great. It is very central and convenient. We could walk easily to the shops, restaurants and Town Hall station. The beds were all comfortable as were the couches in the living room. It was very clean with plenty of nice toiletries. Danny is a wonderful host and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

Unfortunate cleaners let the room down, travelled a lot but found a few things I def shouldn’t have! Others may have been more offended. Great value for 6 adults in the cbd though

Jun 27, 2019This home was a true gem we found! The house looked like a model home which was homey and beautifully decorated. They received us with fresh flowers on the table and a basket of wine and goodies. There was everything in the house to make you feel right at home-- all the kitchenware, cleaning supplies, towels, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, shower gel, extra blankets. The beds seemed new and the linens were fresh and very good quality. It is beachfront property so morning walks were relaxing, the sunset was gorgeous and star gazing at night was spectacular. They also have a closet full of board games, books and a tv. You can buy food at the grocery store and have the most perfect vacation staying home at this property without having to even step out of the house. Of course, there's a million things to do around here which my family and I did being out or first time in New Zealand but we very much enjoyed every minute of our stay at this house. I would give it an 11 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it. PS- the driveway into the house is a little steep and narrow. It was my first time driving in NZ and with the steering wheel on the right side but I had no trouble getting in and out of the driveway... just be careful and go slow :)

Jun 27, 2019This apartment was spacious enough for us all... 2 adults and 5 teenagers. The highlight was being able to sit on one of the 2 balconies and watch the action in darling harbour and the city streets. The added bonus of pool, spa, sauna and gym was great. Close enough to walk to the main attractions of sydney (bridge, opera house, eye tower, fish market, circular quay etc...and so many great places to eat, plus close to the main train stations). The apartment itself could use a bit of maintenance, but was comfortable and neat. Danny is a great host and communicates quickly.

Jun 27, 2019It was great to stay at Danny’s Apt to explore Sydney. Everything about, location, location, location.... it’s walking distance to stations, darling harbour, George Street and Pitt Street, QVB, Chinatown etc. Very nice host and helpful...definitely will be back again. Thank you Danny!
Jun 27, 2019This place was in a fantastic location and we could walk or catch transport to most places. The reviews did not make it clear that there are 2 separate apartments within the property and we had the studio. It was very small but adequate for the two of us and we were out most of the time. Great shower. Would recommend for short stays.

Jun 27, 2019Nice location and quick response. There are few things that need to be fixed in the room but still working well. One problem was someone with a key opened the room while i was sleeping without knocking. It was quite shocking.

Jun 27, 2019Studio apartment in a great location in the middle of the CBD. Close to lots of restaurants and shops. Comfortably fit 4 adults however the sofa bed a bit soft for our preference. Would recommend to couples and small families.

Jun 27, 2019Fairly good experience overall. The main problem was the sofa bed which is clearly not a good enough quality for 2 people, perhaps suitable for one person. A little trouble as well with the windows who let the cold air in (can be cold in winter when sleeping in the sofa bed, even with the heating on). On the plus side, communication is good and we were able to check in 2 hours early very easily. The location is very practical to visit Sydney. The pool is nice. Orher than that you have what you need in the appartement but unfortunately you get the feeling early on that it is clearly not an appartement with people living in it permanently (only 4 knives, forks, spoons, glasses etc, and the atmosphere is quite "cold"). Overall, very good location and practical, with good communication, but the second bed is clearly not good enough. I recommend for 2 people, perhaps 3, but not 4.
Jun 27, 2019The place is central to many landmarks. Town Hall station is just 5 minutes walk away. The place itself is very clean and well-maintained. If you have nothing to do at night because Sydney shops close after 5pm, there is Grace Hotel nearby which includes an Irish pub. There is also a post office just a couple of doors from the Airbnb if you ever need to ship things home. Danny was also very responsive in all our communications which was really comforting.
Jun 27, 2019LOCATION was great, walking distance from Darling Harbor, close easy 12 min walk with luggage from Wynyard Station. Can get the ferry to Circular Quay and Taronga Zoo, Luna Park, Seaworld, Madame Tussaud and Wildlife Zoo is very close by, everything is walking distance from this apartment. Reception was prompt and friendly, room was tidy with all you need, washing machine and dryer if needed. It is small, but for a traveler or long stay more than what you will need, 4 people can sleep comfortable.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is in a good location, close to town hall and big shopping centers in Sydney. But it’s much smaller than I imagined, quit narrow for 3 people to live there. And it’s very hard to contact with the host when we found there is no quilt cover for the sofa bed.
Jun 27, 2019Quite a small studio, comfortable enough for 2 but 4 is quite a squeeze as the pull out lounge bed is quite small.
Jun 27, 2019Danny’s apartment is nice and the location is very convenient. However there can be noise from the apartment next door if there are noisy guests staying in there. If you can sleep through the noise, then it’s a great place to stay.
Jun 27, 2019Fantastic location within walking distance of so many of Sydney's sights. Space was definitely a bit more cramped than I had expected, but if you're spending the majority of your time out and about in Sydney, this isn't a huge deal.
