Neighborhood Overview
In the heart of Greenwich Village, the apartment is great for those looking to experience downtown. The village has amazing charm, with coffee shops and quant streets around every corner. Some of the best shopping and restaurants can be found in SOHO, a few blocks away. Washington Square Park & NYU are a short 2 block walk, and it's a 5 minute stroll to the Hudson River and West Village.

Transit
Biking: There are now CitiBike portals throughout the village, I suggest guests sign up for a pass. Train: Ideal for access to both East and West Side. Within 6 blocks east you have access to the 6 train (as well as N,R,B,D,F,M) and going West within 4 blocks you have the 1 Train (as well as A,C, E). Cabs: There are a ton of cabs on Houston & Bleecker Street.

We had the pleasure to stay at Molly's great apartment in SoHo. It is a fantastic location, very convenient and close to many great restaurants and shops. The only drawback about being so centrally located, is it's noisy at night, but ear plugs are an easy fix to that. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Jun 27, 2019Neighborhood was great, place was as described. Molly was extremely helpful and responsive! The place was comfortable, and more space than the average NYC apt! (of course not saying much... ;)) Only callout is the place does smell like cigarette smoke, most of my things had a residue aroma from it when I returned. Not a huge deal but something to know if you're highly sensitive.
Jun 27, 2019Molly's place was exactly as described and very convenient. Although I mainly just slept there after working long hours, it was a great location with awesome amenities. The bed was extra comfy. Molly was also very communicative and responsive. I would definitely recommend her place.

Easy walk up apartment on quiet street. Molly was very helpful with answers to our questions. Only drawback: Our stay was too short. Thanks, Molly

Jun 27, 2019This is a fabulous place to stay! The location is amazing with local eats a few steps away, including cool cafes and vegan options. Molly was super-responsive and always answered any questions quickly regarding the neighborhood, etc. She’s a great host. Also, I loved how much light came into the apt.

Jun 27, 2019If you want to be downtown, in The Village/Soho, this place is where it's at! Noisy at night, all the sounds of an exciting city scene filled with young people and locals, and a cool haven from the heat when the day gets going. Close to great restaurants, chic shopping and super for photography and people-watching. Convenient supermarkets nearby, and situated an easy 7-minute walk from two different subway lines. Enjoy the real New York, and imagine the city of yesteryear.

Jun 27, 2019Molly is the kind of host that makes me wish my previous five-star reviews were four-star reviews. She's very attentive and helpful. She met us in person and answered all of our questions even after we checked in. The space is a genuine NYC-style apartment and comes with all the charm (and for some, maybe surprises) which that entails. The location is great and in a fun part of Manhattan. There is some street noise but it was actually much less than I expected. Most folks staying here will fine with the hum of the A/C and others will be fine simply wearing earplugs. Some may need neither. Consider booking this place because both the host and the apartment are great, and it provides a genuine NYC-apartment experience in a great part of town.

Jun 27, 2019Molly's apartment is very cosy and in a lively neighbourhood. Molly is nice and answers promptly to all needs. There is not so much storing space at home, so be prepared if you come for a longer stay. Underground is 8-10 minutes walk. As for the rest, it is ideal for 2 people willing to live NYC.

Jun 27, 2019Molly's place in the West Village was a great launching pad into the best neighborhood in Manhattan! The location can't be beat, with easy access to dozens of bars and restaurants and two subway stops in easy walking distance. the apartment itself is bigger than it looked in the photos and was very comfortable for the price. Molly was a great host and we especially appreciated her flexible check-in and check-out! Our only complaint is that the radiator pipes for the floors above pass right by the head of the bed, and the banging at 6am every morning is incredibly loud; being light sleepers there was no way to avoid being woken up by it. Had we known this we probably would not have chosen to stay here, but it would probably be fine for very sound sleepers.
