You are only two minutes to Istiklal Street, 6-7 minutes to Taksim Square, three minutes to Sishane Metro, 5 minutes to train. Markets, taxi station, pharmacy, hospital are all closeby. Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia are all 5-10 minutes distance by tram. Our building is a historical building, hundred years old, where, it is reported that famous Ottoman, Turkish writer, intellectual, reformer, playwright, political activist and one of the first journalists Namık Kemal has lived for several years and published his first journals. This is how the name of our street is Jurnal Street, and the name of our building is Jurnal Apartment. We had an amazing stay at Esra place. The flat is very well located in Beyoglu (surrounded by restaurants, cafés, bars and very closed to Istnabul downtown). Moreover, the place is fully equipped ;-) The host is very kind and made our journey just perfect. Thanks a lot
Jun 27, 2019This is a wonderful apartment! Very good location right in a heart of Istanbul. Best music clubs at the street. İstiklal street and metro station within 100 meters. Esra is a great host very, nice and welcome. We very enjoyed time at this flat.
Jun 27, 2019Staying at Esra's was a real treat. Communication was flawless, her son met us at at a nearby hotel to bring us to the apartment and give us the keys. He showed us around the apartment and answer everything we needed to know. During our 4 day stay, Esra kept checking in with us if everything was alright and if we needed anything. The flat is located in a very central area in the district of Beyoglu near Istiklal Caddesi, there are dozens of nice restaurants and bars just around the corner. The apartment itself has everything you ask for - a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, a separate toilet and a big living and dining room. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Istanbul.
Jun 27, 2019This Beyoglu apartment is perfectly located. You find restaurants, bars, grocery stores and public transport around the corner in this bustling (not noisy!) area. Great location, great apartment. The host Esra was very kind and keen to make our stay perfect in all respects. We hope to be back sometime soon. Thanks!
Jun 27, 2019Ezra is a fantastic host and I highly recommend her apartment! It's a good value, centrally located in Beyoglu, super clean, has solid wifi, very comfortably with lots of amenities. Ezra followed up with me several times to make sure everything was perfect...which it was! The apartment is also a short walk from the metro and funicular. Definitely stay here if you get a chance!

Jun 27, 2019Great first experience with Airbnb! Very central location in attractive and safe area. Good choice of bars and restaurants at & around the corner. Very clean and spacious, good wifi, well furnished and decorated, excellent shower, nice little balcony. Couches are very comfortable to have a rest after a long day of walking around town. We felt totally at home. Bit noisy during weekend nights, better close the windows at night. Good & prompt communication with hosts. Thank you Esra and looking forward to meet you next time!
Jun 27, 2019We stayed 5 nights in Esra's apartment over the New Year holiday. The apartment was superbly located in Beyoglu, 2 min walking distance to Istikal Cad and 15 min to Taksim Square, putting all the wonderful restaurant and bar options in the area within easy reach. Sultanahmet and the main tourist sites are a short tram ride away. Despite being in the heart of the action, the apartment was relatively quiet. Esra provided clear instructions, a map and pictures before we arrived and self check-in and check-out were a breeze. The apartment was very clean, in good condition, and very spacious for 2 adults with high ceilings. Fresh linens, a large collection of DVDs (for lazy evenings) and a small pantry were much appreciated. Be aware that you'd have to climb 2 steep floors on a narrow staircase, so go light on the luggage. Finally, the only downside: the generator/heater in the bedroom was very loud and turned on/off constantly, so light sleepers beware. All said, we loved the apartment and will not hesitate to return.
