Since it's a cottage, there are no stairs and upper floors. It is suitable for 4 people, since it has two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. It has a very nice garden. Quiet but very central location, close to main communication arteries and public transport. Free wireless internet and car parking available, free linen, free towels, ... no hidden costs. Great views of the city from the park nearby. Very friendly host with fluent English and Italian. You have a kitchen, 24 hours hot water,washing machine,electric kettle toaster , fridge,and microwave,central heating for winter and FANS available for summer time it is naturally cool enough . This is a great place to stay at! The host are very genourus and kind! The place are very clean and nice... I just loved the small house and I will return agin I am sure!
Jun 27, 2019Beyond perfect! The best! Everything about it is just amazing...! the place, the price, and the host. The place is really nice, very confortable, and very clean, it is located in a lovely garden, in a very nice neighborhood. Transportation is very easy, and the lovely host helped us to buy transportation cards, which made our trip less and less expensive..The house is located on top of a hill, with a stunning view. The price is unbelievable for what you get, and we were ready to pay even much more to have such a perfect combination of place and host! Tuna (the host), well, I am absolutely speechless about her! She is the most adorable, thoughtful, generous, and engaging person you might come across! The first day she came with us (even to the European side) and told us ALL the necessary information we may need..and with her help we were so comfortable, we could feel like a local! We had an amazing time... Also ask them to take you-if possible for them, and for you- to the place they have in the countryside, where is a heaven! In weekends they serve the best food, in a lovely wooden restaurant.. amazing! Well, apparently I can not never describe this place and the host, in words! We were so lucky to find it. We left the house, as we were all so sad to leave..BUT, we are thankful to have the chance to meet this lovely family! (Also I have to mention that it was our first time booking a place via airbnb and I wasn't sure about anything, but it turned out to be THE BEST! )
Jun 27, 2019We've stayed at this place for 7 days and I absolutely love this place. The place is very quite although it's located not so far from the center of the city. The house is very comfortable and clean and the price is really low for such place. The hosts are very kind, they helped us a lot with our trip and we are happy that we choosed this place for our visit to Istanbul.
Jun 27, 2019Tuna is amazing, as well as her two children. She was so nice to meet us at an easy location so that we could bus with her to her home and the house we rented on the other side of her lovely yard. The house is so nice, all newly remodeled. Full kitchen with everything we needed to cook anything we wanted. A very nice bathroom, shower, and 2 bedrooms. We felt like we had complete privacy which was great for us. But also we could ask Tuna for anything at any time. Our first night there she drove us to a good grocery store where we could get food and helped us with any questions. She made lentil soup for us, it was delicious! Always she answered her phone and helped us whenever we got lost. We got excellent directions on how to visit the Egyptian bazaar and walk up to the grand bazaar. This way we got to go to the places with really good prices, and not waste our money at the overpriced grand bazaar. This advice was amazing! The yard/garden was the best. We ate breakfast out there every morning. The place is up on a hill and so it has a great view of Istanbul. Really this is the most amazing place, quiet, peaceful and spacious in a central part of Istanbul. And any difficulty finding the place or getting somewhere from there is not a problem with Tuna always so kind to help. For the price, and the experience, and the host it is the best ever. Just can't say enough good things about Tuna and the lovely house. Kid, family, couple friendly. Hope you will stay here, you will enjoy. Happy to return and stay there in the future Tuna. Tuna made us feel at home from the beginning; she invited us out around town, gave us great travel tips, drove us to the station, and let us use the washing machines. The family was very sweet and their dog was such a treat. The area over looks the city, which was perfect for New Years when we were able to watch the surrounding cities light up their fireworks. Overall, our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and a wonderful Istanbul experience. Thank you Tuna and your family!
Jun 27, 2019Tuna is an excellent and very nice and helpful host Her children are very nice and friendly. Tuna has done everything to ensure that we felt all around . The house is very clean and with all the things you need.In the bedroom is even a walk-cupboard The house is beautifully in an great, natural garden. You can have wonderful relaxing. to the bus stop on foot it is only 5 minutes. By bus you can go to Üsküdar in 20 minutes (here is the ferryboat to go to europian side). By ferryboat you need 25 minutes to Eminönü, . A bakery and several supermarkets are in 5 minutes achieve. We are sure to come back again. Me and my kids were totally thrilled .They have made efforts with Tuna's children. We highly recommend this house in good faith.Thanks to Tuna and her family. Im sure we see us again.

Jun 27, 2019It was our first experience with Airbnb and obviously not the last one! Tuna and her family are great hosts. They gave us very detailed instructions regarding all places we would like to visit and their countryside restaurant is absolutely unforgettable! The guest house is exactly as shown in pictures - very clean with enclosed garden and a nice park close by which was very convenient as we traveled with a 17 months old baby. Tuna was so kind to provide us with all kitchen utilities we asked and Antonio helped us to find a road when we got lost in the neighborhood:). Would come there again!

Jun 27, 2019My daughters & I just stayed for three days at Tuna's lovely garden home. The house had two spacious bedrooms & a nice small kitchen & bathroom. The kitchen has a small dining table that we enjoyed having our breakfast & snacks looking out the garden. The kitchen had sufficient plates, cups & utensils. The location is a few minutes walk from Camlica Park with breathtaking city views. The park has two nice moderately priced Restaurants. Aside from the lovely home, Tuna & her beautiful family are nice, courteous & very kind. We felt home with their kindness & hospitality. We felt like we have known Tuna & her family for a long time. Her precious son & daughter & off course her husband are so nice & helpful. My daughters enjoyed playing soccer with them & we had a great visit to an Istanbul mall with an Aquarium with Tuna's daughter. We sure will miss them & miss staying at their garden home.
Jun 27, 2019Everything was perfect and I'm sure it's almost impossible to find better place to stay in Istanbul! The apartment was very nice and clean, with lovely garden - everything was exactly like the pictures show. But the most important thing, which makes this place so special are hosts - Tuna and her family! We are traveling a lot and we had opportunity to meet a lot of nice people from all over the world, but Tuna, Antonio and children are really special! They made us feel at home from the beginning. They are kind, friendly and helpful! I hope we will back soon in Uskudar!

Shr also accept from us to made a barbicue in her garden and allow to us to invite our friends .. Icant belive that there is a HOST like Tuna .. Thank you Tuna for every thing :)

Tuna is a lovely, intelligent woman who was as interesting to talk with as she was helpful with every aspect of our stay. The logistics required in getting to the European side were not complicated, but definitely added to our experience of everyday life. We are grateful for the opportunity to meet Tuna and stay at her place.
Jun 27, 2019Tuna is the best host ever! I have travelled a lot with airbnb and sometimes the hosts can be a bit cold but tuna and her family areso lovely and caring. We forget to buy bread and in the early morning she brought fresh bread cheese and olives! She gave us a ride when we needed! Super recommended!

Jun 27, 2019The Lovely Garden proved indeed to be a lovely garden and home to stay. The property was very clean and cozy with a feel of a real home. The house facilities and the garden turned out exactly how they have been depicted on the photos and even more so.....Most importantly, it was the warmth and hospitality of Tuna and her family, that made our short stay so special. Tuna is a very special, kind and caring host. She helped us with every need, providing guidance and utmost hospitality, including freshly made Turkish pastry and chocolate cake as a surprise. This place is made even more special by the presence of a gorgeous adopted dog Tamal. He is always kind, hospitable and open for a lively play and a nice piece of bread with cheese :). The Lovely Garden is located in a very green, clean and safe neighbourhood in Anatolia (the Asian part of Istanbul), away from the everyday buzz and hectic lifepace. It is immersed in a residential area, very close to a beautiful Camlica public park. The area is nice for comfortable walks, if one is interested to observe local life in a residential part of Istanbul, away from the myriad of tourists, shops, industries and business centers. A number of local restaurants, bakeries and grocery shops are located at a walking distance. We would highly recommend the Lovely Garden to someone, who is seeking to stay more in a family atmosphere in a quiet green area, rejuvenating oneself with the energy of trees and the magical sound of the call for prayer, which can be heard from the minarets of the nearby mosque. It is worth mentioning that Tuna's family also runs a cozy lodge in a green area in the vicinity of Istanbul. We would highly recommend this place as well to someone interested in a quiet retreat surrounded by nature. We loved everything about the Lovely Garden and we have had a very lovely experience staying there! Above all, we would like to extend our hearty greetings to Tuna's family and thank her, her mother, her sister, her lovely daughter and son, the dog Tamal and her entire family for the warmth, hospitality and kind smiles. The house is located in a very strategic part of Asian of Istanbul in a residential area and close to the pubblic transportation . For all these reasons the house is nice and very comfortable. I and my family loved everything about the Lovely Garden and we have had a very lovely experience staying there.

Tuna is a very friendly and concerned host. The house is very comfortable and clean. In the garden we enjoyed a nice cup of tea and coffee Tuna made for us. The garden was especially very appropriate for assembling our bikes. The nearby - unique! - hilltop restaurant meets every breakfast need you have (a huge buffet for 30 lira). Bus connections are at a short walking distance. You cannot find any place like this in Istanbul!

Jun 27, 2019Tuna ist eine sehr liebe Person und ein sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Eine sehr herzliche und weltoffene Dame, die viel auf der Welt rumgekommen ist. Sie hat sich prima um uns gekümmert. Das Häuschen liegt hinter dem Wohnhaus der Familie im Garten. Eine wirkliche Ausnahme für die Weltmetropole in Istanbul, das man in einem Häuschen im Grünen wohnen kann. Das Haus ist sehr Sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es ist herrlich ruhig. Man kann sich in den Garten setzen, ein süßes Kätzchen und ein verschlafener Hund ist inklusive. Es war das erste Mal für mich, das ich so eine Plattform genutzt habe. Ich hatte anfangs gemischte Gefühle, weil meine Schiegereltern dabei waren. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht und freue mich auf das nächste Mal, wenn ich bei Tuna übernachte. :-)
Jun 27, 2019We stayed 4 days at the lovely garden. It was an oasis of quiet and relaxation from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. Communication was great with Tuna. She helped direct the taxi by phone to her home and greeted us at the gate. The garden was a welcome site after a week in Sultanahmet's tiny busy streets. Tuna and her family are beautiful people and were very friendly and accommodating. They showed us around the neighbourhood and helped us get around to where we needed to go. The flat was clean, comfortable and roomy and felt like home :) We would happily stay with Tuna again and highly recommend her flat in the lovely garden.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at the Lovely Garden Home for a month whilst settling in for a longer term stay in Istanbul with our family. We could not have wished for more: Tuna and her wonderful children made us feel more than welcome right from the start and gave us a sense of being 'home' immediately. They showed us around, taught us traffic-short cuts, provided all that was needed and more. The house has spacious bedrooms, great facilities and as you can see from the pictures a wonderful peaceful garden! It is very special to be in such a lovely location that is also very close to public transport that brings you to the European side quickly. The Kucuk Camlica park is right around the corner and is a wonderful place for a picnic, playgrounds, a Turkish tea and a fantastic view of Istanbul. Grocery shops and fresh baked bread are around the corner. If you want an authentic experience that goes beyond the regular tourist location, we highly recommend this lovely house and above all these lovely hosts!

The place is very nice, clean and inside a very lovely garden. We may go there again, when we are back to Istanbul

Дом в жизни лучше, чем на фотографиях - аккуратный уютный гостевой домик на одном участке с хозяйским, в глубине сада. Дом чистый, постели свежие, на кухне есть всё необходимое для готовки. Надо сказать, что к жилью мы предъявляем высокие требования, поскольку ездим с маленьким ребёнком, и были полностью удовлетворены: тихо, далеко от больших улиц, мы никому не мешали, и нам не докучали, прямо в садике можно погулять с ребёнком, а на соседней улице огромный ландшафтный парк с озером и утками. Район хороший: практически через забор живёт глава района, а в километре-двух резиденция президента страны. В 10 минутах ходьбы несколько продуктовых магазинов, недалеко станция метро. Огромное спасибо за приём хозяйке - Туне. Добрейшей души человек, щедрый, отзывчивый, прекрасный собеседник… Когда она узнала, что мы приехали лечить ребёнка - всячески искренне пыталась помочь, за что мы ей очень благодарны. С хозяйкой, её мужем и двумя детьми мы подружились, это действительно очень хорошая семья. Рекомендуем всецело. Жильё подойдёт и семьям, и молодым парам. Everything was great. Clean, comfortable and cosy house, safe and great location. Tuna is a charming and fantastic hostess, whom we now consider a friend. She and her wonderful family made us feel at home. Jun 27, 2019My husband and I stayed in Tuna's cottage for four days on a short vacation in Istanbul as we prepared to move back to the U.S. from Ghana. When we arrived at her place, we were thoroughly exhausted from packing up our lives in Ghana and a few nights of inadequate sleep, and the cottage was the perfect place to rest and recharge. It's fairly unadorned on the inside - just a couple of sparsely furnished bedrooms, a bathroom, and a small kitchen - but that was all we needed! The heat and hot water worked well, the bed was super comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the city from our bedroom window. It was too cold to enjoy the courtyard while we were there, but it looked like an ideal place to drink morning coffee, with two hammocks and a table and chairs. All that said, what made our experience with Tuna really special was not the accommodation itself but our interaction with her and her family, who were absolutely the most gracious and attentive Airbnb hosts I've ever encountered (and almost all of my Airbnb experiences have been great). They greeted us upon arrival; walked us around the neighborhood to point out pharmacies, ATMs, supermarkets, and the like; and (most essentially) pointed us toward bus stops and even talked to the drivers to make sure we got on the right one. On the Asian side of Istanbul, at least in this particular area, not many people speak English, so this was a huge help - I don't know how we could have navigated the city's massive public-transit systems without it! Tuna invited us to accompany the family to their restaurant/lodge outside of town, where we had a lavish Sunday breakfast and took a short hike up into the hills. Her two teenage children were always happy to answer our questions and show us around. On our last night, they invited us into their home for tea and a chat, and Tuna helped us arrange for a taxi to the airport that could accommodate all our many bags. While there are other Airbnb options that put you closer to the major sights in Istanbul, I don't think we would trade our stay with Tuna's family for anything! Highly recommended if you want a more local experience and a truly warm welcome.
Jun 27, 2019I stayed four night at Tuna's place. Tuna is one of the sweetest person I have ever met in my life. She cares about her guests and always ready to help. Her husband, Antonio is such a gentleman; very friendly, knowledgeable and open minded. Tuna's sister, Deniz is a wonderful lady!! I really enjoyed my time with her. Luca and Asia are very smart, easy going and fun to be with them. I loved them! Her brother, Ismail, his wife and there beautiful kids are very cute family. Tuna's mother is so sweet. I am in love with the whole family!!

In fact, she is the very definition of an ideal host -- who truly went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Des bus pour Uskudar et Kadikoy passent toutes les 5 min. Tuna et sa famille sont généreux et disponibles et font tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Une excellente adresse loin de l'agitation touristique. ❤️❤️❤️

Prima di dare una recensione alla casa ci tengo particolarmente a ringraziare Tuna per l'accoglienza e l'affetto che lei e la sua famiglia ci hanno dato perché è stato un vero piacere passare momenti assieme a chiacchierare in giardino. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa e Tuna fa di tutto per fare sentire a proprio agio. La casa è veramente ubicata in una posizione strategica e perfetta per raggiungere in breve tempo punti importanti della città. Estremamente pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort, Tuna controlla in maniera scrupolosa che tutto sia perfetto per i suoi ospiti. Anche i nostri bambini hanno apprezzato molto la casa e non volevano nemmeno andarsene. Tutto all'interno della casa è esattamente come nella descrizione e nelle foto dell'alloggio. Consiglio di prenotare la casa di Tuna perché è perfetta per soggiorni a Istanbul. Tuna grazie di cuore per la grande opportunità che ci hai dato. Monica

Jun 27, 2019On this tour, we met 5 hosts and she was easily the best. The fact that she lived in the same compound meant that we had several opportunities to interact with her as well as her husband and teenage kids. She picked us up from the bus-stop so we did not have to haul the suitcases to the house. She treated us to tea in the garden immediately on reaching the house. We went to the weekly market in her car to stock up for the next 2 days. She recommended a restaurant in a nearby park which had some of the best views of the town. The cottage has been newly furnished and exactly as described in the listing. It was a welcome change from flats in the multi-story buildings we had lived earlier in the tour. Tuna was prompt in responding to our communications before as well as during our stay . She even offered to keep our Istanbul cart , return it after our departure and send the balance amount. I would recommend that one should finish sightseeing from some other accommodation in the city and come here to relax and soak in the local ambiance and hospitality.
Jun 27, 2019Tuna & family are very nice people; location is great and can be reached easy by car; in the garden you have hammock and fresh figs; shops & restaurants are located near by; also bus station to Uskudar is located near by. In the first day Tuna prepared for us a tour of the center and showed us the restaurants with traditional food & sweets, shops and all you need to know about Istanbul public transportation. Each day Tuna picked us up with her car from the bus station, in our way back from the city. Also Tuna arranged to park our car inside the premises, instead of her car. Thank you very much for all, Tuna!

I don't even know where to start. this was, by far, the best vacation EVER and honestly our wonderful host Tuna and her beautiful and warm family play a monumental role! from responding promptly my emails before we visited to the entire tenure of our stay of two weeks, she was an absolutely splendid host. I know I've made a friend for life. We intended to get a place on the Asian side, where we could be far off from the insanity of the tourism commotion but also be able to access it for sight seeing the usual popular sites and that's exactly what tuna's place is. the house was spotless, comfy and very relaxing and warm after a cold day out. The beds were clean, clean towels laid out, it was a lovely little home away from home for me, my husband and my 5 year old daughter. We even enjoyed the garden on sunny days, had tea outside, laid in the hammock and just unwind. the nearby bulgurlu market which is a downhill walk was also a pleasant surprise, the restaurants there were amazing and we got so comfortable with their excellent service ( and much more food for value) compared to the European side that we would have all our meals there. Tuna even took me to the local thursday market where i bought the cheapest and most amazing salmon and nuts and died fruit and she also showed me how best to cook the salmon! the second day tuna even showed us the Cagri departmental stoire which has all the groceries you might need and a lovely bakery where I shopped plenty of times! Right across the street is a wonderful spice shop with all kinds of exotic spices and teas. There is also a dizzying number of amazing bakeries, baklava and sweet houses, even clothes stores, all in the very easy vicinity of Tunas house. also a bus or mini van ride to Uskudar or Kadikoy and you can do all your souvenier and other shopping with much more variety and much cheaper than the European side. There's a 5 lira shop in Kadikoy that I went berserk in! Tuna very kindly explained the whole metro, bus and ferry ride system to us and we barely ever needed a taxi. She helped guide me with the entire itinerary. she was also amazingly helpful when we needed guidance of any kind when we were lost or confused about something, Tuna was just a phone call away! i know words can never suffice but if you want to experience the local warmth and feel of the turkish culture along with all the tourist attractions, this is the absolute best place. This was our first air bnb experience and tuna has set the bar extremely high for any successive air bnb bookings we make! We are definitely returning and this was, at the cost of sounding repetitive, the absolute best vacation ever! Love you Tuna!
Jun 27, 2019Very great experience. Tuna picked up us home the first day. Next day in the morning Tuna first showed us the nearby restaurants and gave us many useful tips about this city, then she took us to the Sultan Ahmad District to see Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, etc. We talked a lot about interesting things in Turkey and China during the walk. Tuna is a very very cool woman, we both love her very very much. At the marathon day, Tuna took us to the start point and said good luck to us. Thank you Tuna, you saved us time and showed the greatest side of the city. The house is very comfortable to live, has everything in it, towels, forks and very fast internet access. In the morning the inner courtyard is so quiet that we both love the morning moment. The traffic is convenient, ferry, metro and minibus are OK between old town and home. Having lived in Istanbul, we ourselves understand how truly unique this house is. The neighborhood is beautiful, the area is quiet and shops are not far away. The garden is lovely and the accommodation itself is exceptional. Tuna herself is what makes this a 5-star accommodation. We highly recommend.

Jun 27, 2019Tuna is the best host we ever had in the last few years of frequently using Airbnb in different countries. The house is also very cute and wonderful for small kids. There is a bit of a view of Turkey from the the yard as the house is on a hill. It was also nice to have a view of the starry night from the master bedroom. Tuna is generous enough to offer us rides several times during our stay to make our life easier with two little kids. She made sure we had a good time and very responsive to all our needs. Excellent all in all.

From practical side, house is very clean, everything you need is there, if not - you can always ask host. We would recommend this place for those who wants to see real life of Istanbul, investigate not tourists districts, and for families with kids because garden and park nearby are very convenient to let kids relax a bit from big city. Host, Tuna, is a special gift for travelers, will provide you with lots of information and suggest best places, routs etc. Highly recommended! Jun 27, 2019This was our second visit to Turkey and I honestly say that the reason we made this trip was due to how amazing an experience staying at Tunas place was last time. She was generous, sincere and is my friend for life now! It's like a home away from home. I absolutely love the neighborhood. It's quaint and lovely, a true window into this beautiful Turkish culture. Tuna, as always, was an EXCEPTIONAL host. Always available. Extremely helpful. Her kids Luca, Asia and Towfiq are adorable, intelligent individuals, a reflection of their beautiful mother. I will definitely be visiting again and again!!!

Sonra beni Metrobüs durağına aracı ile Bırakma inceliğini gösterdi, istanbulkart'ını kullanmama izin verdi. Akşam eve dönerken de Metrobüs durağından alabileceğini söyledi. Akşam yemek alabilmem için beni yakındaki bir restorana kadar götürüp getirdi. Nazik ve ilgili davrandı.
Jun 27, 2019My husband, daughter and I stayed at Tuna's delightful home for 4 nights. Located behind the families home is a private house in which we were hosted in. The home is very comfortable and quite spacious as well. Even better than the house is the spectacular yard; hammocks, tables, chairs and even a soccer ball! Tuna took us around the city to see different neighborhoods and helped us plan our daily schedule. Upon arriving back in the city after traveling in Greece we came to visit Tuna and her family and spent the day chatting. If I could, I would move into Tuna's backyard and set up camp! :):) My husband and I can't wait to visit again and when we do we will definitely contact Tuna to stay at home again. Thanks for everything Tuna! We miss your home!

She was always approachable, helped us with everything that came up at any time of day, took us to the local market for grocery shopping every week, even drove me to the metrobus in the morning to get to work! Also, the place is beautiful with its large garden, lots of shade and views of the prince's islands in the Marmara sea. It was absolutely wonderful to stay with Tuna and her family and we would do it again!

It is located at 5 minutes walk from bus stop and market.Whole Istanbul is at your reach from this place by public transport. Above all whole family is so lovely,cooperative,concerned and caring that one can't forget their hospitality ever.I wish to get the opportunity to stay there again.

Great for us and especially great for the children who enjoyed the garden with its football goal, hammocks, scooters, place to run and the tiny kittens. The house is great. Exceptionally clean with everything you could need. We enjoyed being on the Asian side of the city. Near a park and good local shops. Tuna's help was indispensable. Her generosity is a gift and made the whole stay in Istanbul so much better.

Jun 27, 2019We spent 4 nights at Tuna's place and it was all so so memorable right from the beginning. We arrived on a cold rainy afternoon in Istanbul greeted with warm hot chocs , yummy sandwiches and Tuna went extra miles to get us turkish delights . Now that's truly welcoming! She's a truly remarkable, active, passionate, helpful and warm person and the kids are just so charming and amazing. Its a perfect place for any families with young children (we have 4 with us) and while its quite hilly , taxis are available within minutes and busses are just around the corner. I'd love to return back definitely..and we are all missing her cheese sandwiches by now. Thank you Tuna and big fat hugs from malaysia !

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Tuna's place for over a month. It was by far our best airbnb experience so far, and we travel a lot. We knew what to expect from the excellent reviews she's got, but we didn't expect it to be that good! Tuna is a wonderful, super friendly and thoughtful person and a great host. She made sure we had everything we needed, even when she was away -- big and small things alike. She was always available to us and happy to offer help and advice. The house itself is pretty, comfortable, and fully-equipped. It also has a big, lovely garden, which our 8 month old son really enjoyed, not to mention the huge and beautiful Küçük Çamlıca Park, 3 minutes walking distance from the house. It has several playgrounds, lots of open spaces and a lovely duck pond -- and don't forget to go up the famous hill when you're there, where you will find a nice restaurant overlooking an absolutely incredible view of Istanbul and the Bosphorus. The neighborhood is very nice and peaceful, and there is easy availability of buses, dolmuşs and taxis from the main roads. We strongly recommend staying at Tuna's if you're in the area; we know that for our next trip to Uskudar, her place will no doubt be our first choice. Thank you for everything Tuna :-)

But aside from that- everything else was great and Tuna & family was so helpful in bringing us around in her car and in helping us with all of our needs. Jun 27, 2019Tuna is a different kind of host who truly puts a lot of effort into her guests. There are few genuine people left in this world and she is one of them. She always had a smile and was always offering to help with everything. Her kids and husband were also wonderful and helpful at all times. Her son Luca especially gave company to my son and played with him everyday. There are no words for Tuna's genuine kindness and caring hospitality. She is truly a one of a kind host. The house is very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. If we ever needed anything Tuna provided it immediately. The garden is very lush and green and quite huge and we were using all of it. They had fig and plum trees that we enjoyed thoroughly. the location is superb; it's walking distance to 2 metro stations. it is surrounded by shops to buy pretty much anything. The park is very very close and is truly one of the most beautiful and biggest parks in Istanbul. It has a cafeteria and 2 restaurants with breathtaking views of the Marmara sea, Princess Islands and the European side of Istanbul (Sultanahmet). Everything was wonderful and we are already planning our next stay at Tuna's place!

Jun 27, 2019Tuna's house is in very peaceful quiet respectable safe area, it sets on a nice private garden with constant central heating in the cold season, the area has all what you need like grocery supermarket, fresh quality fruit and veg shop, good restaurants and caffies just 10 minutes walk, fresh bread bakery 2 minutes walk, metro station about 5 minutes walk, very good bus and taxi service and above all knowing Tuna as a host and very nice helpfull lady quick to respond to any queries and goes out of her way to help is beyond value by any measure.
Jun 27, 2019Мы с женой и двумя детьми провели в этом доме все новогодние каникулы. В доме всё так, как описано Tune. Нам очень понравилось постельное белье оно очень хорошего качества. Дома было тепло, хотя в некоторые дни выпадал снег и температура на улице была около 0 градусов, газовое отопление работало хорошо. Дом расположен на холме, если немного спустится, то можно попасть в магазины, где продают вкусный хлеб и ограниченный набор продуктов. Tune и Antonio отвезли нас на машине в супермаркет, где они покупают продукты, потом мы сами ходили в него, порядка 20 ходу мимо станции метро. До ближайшей станции метро M5 10 минут ходьбы с ребенком 3 лет, чтобы добраться до основных достопримечательностей, расположенных в старом городе вам нужно ехать на станцию Uskudar и пересесть на метро Marmaray , чтобы добраться до станции Sirkeci, время поездки на метро около 30 минут. Tune и Antonio пригласили нас отпраздновать Новый год в кругу своей семьи, это было очень интересно и необычно. Они очень хорошие и доброжелательные люди. Если мы будем в Стамбуле, то обязательно остановимся у них снова, так как там очень тихо и чистая природа вокруг. My wife and two children spent all the new Year's holidays in this House. In the house everything is as described Tune. We loved the linens, it is of very good quality. The house was warm, although some days the snow fell and the temperature on the street was about 0 degrees, gas heating worked well. The house is located on a hill, if a little down, you can get to the shops, where they sell delicious bread and a limited list of products. Tune and Antonio drove us by car to the supermarket where they buy products, then we walked in it, about 20 minutes walk through the metro station. The nearest Metro station M5 10 minutes walk with a child 3 years to get to the main attractions located in the old town you need to drive to the station Uskudar and take the Metro Marmaray to reach the station SIRKECI, the time of the subway trip About 30 minutes. Tune and Antonio invited us to celebrate the new Year in the circle of their family, it was very interesting and unusual. They are very nice and friendly people. If we are in Istanbul we will definitely stay at them again as there is very quiet and clean nature around.
