By Lonely Planet: - The longest avenue in the city runs through Boavista, where Porto takes a giant leap into the 21st century, with rooftop bars, urban hotels and landmarks designed by the Pritzker Prize duo Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto de Moura. - "Rotunda Da Boavista", also known as "Mouzinho de Albuquerque Square", is a large roundabout in Oporto, Portugal. He honors Joaquim Augusto Mouzinho de Albuquerque, a Portuguese soldier who fought in Africa during the 19th century. - Casa da Música is a large concert space in Porto, Portugal, home to the cultural institution of the same name, with its three Orquestra Nacional do Porto, Baroque Orchestra and Remix Ensemble. Claimed as the European Capital of Culture in 2001, it was only completed in 2005. Soon it became an icon in the city. With a 1,300-seat auditorium covered in natural light, it is the only concert hall in the world with two walls made entirely of glass.

Jun 27, 2019Logement neuf, nous semblions être les premiers à avoir logé ici! Tout est conforme aux photos, le loft est agréable à vivre, le lit double extra. Le quartier est calme, loin du tumulte. Donc de fait, pas vraiment à proximité des quartiers "vivants" de Porto... Mais comme le métro est au pied de l'appartement, ça ne pose pas de problèmes. Bref nous y avons passé un bon séjour. Maxime.
Jun 27, 2019Logement super propre, très bien équipé. Si vous venez en voiture, il y a un parking privé. Tous les moyens de transport en commun sont à quelques mètres. La situation de l'appartement permet de prendre l'air par rapport à l'agitation du centre ville. Nous avons été très bien accueillies.
Jun 27, 2019Parfait pour un séjour à Porto ! Bien desservi métro, bus ou axes routiers pour bouger. Quartier proposant restos, commerces et concerts de musique. Avenue du logement amenant à une Plage. Le loft est très propre et spacieux nous avons beaucoup apprécié !
Jun 27, 2019Acabamos de pasar 4 días geniales en Oporto. Hemos estado dos adultos con dos niños y la experiencia en el alojamiento de Alexandre ha sido perfecta. Loft moderno y limpio. Situado en zona moderna y bien comunicado por metro y bus. A 20 minutos andando del centro. El parking privado se agradece. Muy cerca de la preciosa playa de Matosinhos. La ciudad preciosa.
Jun 27, 2019Loft excelente, localizado numa região do Porto que particularmente me agrada muito, muito bem servida de transportes públicos, restaurantes, centros comerciais, a dois minutos do mercado do bom sucesso. Boavista é um charme, perto da baixa e pontos turísticos, mas ao mesmo tempo a salvo da confusão. Quanto ao espaço do Alexandre, maravilhoso! Muito bem decorado, tudo cheira a novo, o apartamento tem todo o conforto que é preciso para uma otima estadia, a limpeza, tanto do espaço quanto das roupas de cama e banho, os utensílios de cozinha, impecavelmente dispostos nos armários, cápsulas de café e sachês de chá como cortesia, os lençóis da cama muito bem alinhados, diga se de passagem, nem em algumas redes hoteleiras de 5* que conheço encontrei tantos cuidados com os detalhes. O ar condicionado quente/frio mantém o clima adequado do lugar. Para quem leva o carro, a facilidade do estacionamento privativo por detrás do prédio é mais um ponto positivo a ser posto, já que na região há uma concorrência grande por vagas e o local é em sua maior parte parqueado, enfim, não tenho pontos negativos a colocar. Fui gentilmente recebida pela simpática e sorridente Patrícia, no horário combinado, sem atraso e sem surpresas desagradáveis. Acredito que se todos os hóspedes cuidarem dos espaços em que se hóspedam, seja esse o mais simples, ou o mais luxuoso, todos poderão desfrutar de um lugar agradável e confortável para uma bela estadia. Super recomendo!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment was very nice : super clean, very well decorated and a huge shower. The metro station Casa da Musica and a supermarket are at walking distance. Casa Agricolo, also walking distance, is a very good restaurant. A private parking at the back is available. Patricia was very easy to reach. Enjoy Porto !

Jun 27, 2019We had a very wonderful time in this beautiful loft apartment. It was so comfortable and it felt so good to be in a beautiful and stylish place. The location is very good, too, and the apartment was spotless and the WiFi is very fast. Definitely a five star experience! The Al Porto Italian restaurant is just down the street, very delicious food and good prices, friendly and fast service. There are grocery stores nearby, the metro is about a 5 minute walk, and there is also a nice mall within walking distance.
Jun 27, 2019Beautiful, cozy and extremely well located place! Alexandre's loft is complete, renovated, clean and its sweet Portuguese-style balcony offers the best view possible to Casa da Música! I recommend it for both long and short stays - staying here feels even better than being at home! :)

I stayed in Alexandre’s loft for the past 5 months and loved everything about that space: decoration, clealiness, location, comfort and specially the amazing balcony with a special view to Casa da Musica. Hope to go back to Porto and repeat this stay! Definitely felt like being at home - or even better! What made a total difference to guarantee a great time in a new city :)
Jun 27, 2019This was a great flat with everything you need close to hand. Lovely cafe on corner of street and really fab indoor cool eating and drinking venue with lots of choice. Beautiful shopping centre if you want high end clothes and easy spot to get to Porto downtown or centre by metro or bus or taxi
Jun 27, 2019I've stayed at Alexandre's place for 5 months before and now for another 3 weeks. It was great to be back - extremely clean, beautiful and cozy place, will miss it! The high windows with a balcony facing Casa da Musica is simply amazing and rare to find. Alexandre is very gentle and will guarantee you'll have a great time in Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Mooi stijlvol appartement, kraaknet, goede voorzieningen, wel jammer dat er geen wasautomaat aanwezig was ... Prachtige locatie, zeker als je van muziek houdt. Elke vrijdag- en zaterdagavond worden er kleine life sessies gehouden tegenover het appartement. Top!
Jun 27, 2019Very good location if you want to visit Porto with all points of interests - good connections with metro/bus. Especially interesting if you are looking for concerts - you have concert hall on the other side of the street. You can reach nice sandy beaches very easily with a bus or metro/tube. Appartment itself is very convenient, good furnished. You can always count on prompt help/info from owner so you can feel like at home.
Jun 27, 2019We loved this apartment! We were 4 people and stayed there for one week. It worked out great with one bed and one sleep sofa. The whole apartment was clean and stylish. Especially the shower was awesome! Its close to the metro station casa da musica from which it takes 3 stops to the city centre. With Uber or Bus you're at the beach in approximatly 15 mins. The only thing we didnt find that good was the big street right next to the apartment. But if youre not bothered by traffic noise than you'll be perfectly fine!

Jun 27, 2019We thought the apartment was really well located next to Cafe de Musica and it was fairly simple to use the bus and metro system and also to walk!! We visited the historic areas as well as the waterfront and also Serralves (to see the gallery and the pink villa) and the beach at Matsinhos. Walking to the Jardin de palacios cristal (spelling?) was wonderful as it was not far and the gallery had an interesting exhibit and we liked the building’s design. Visiting the Lello bookstore and the landscape building near it were also great. The spaciousness and clean modern design of the apartment and the casa de musica plaza was a welcome contrast to the small medieval streets....very pleased with this selection and I will admit the thoughtfulness of providing some coffee etc was really lovely! Thanks again!
