My place is close to the beach. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. I am always available via text or email, I do have a job that keeps me out of the house most afternoons and evenings depending on the restaurant. The place is down a beach access road! There are 8 units so it’s a very small little community. We get a lot of surfers and adventure seekers. Taxi's and cars are the easiest! Parking is on the street and there has been no trouble. We also have uber and lyft available on the island! There is a fee of $50 for early check-ins and late checkouts. Please ask before arriving early or planning to stay late as other guests could have booked the space.

Jun 27, 2019Great place to stay for a late check in, shower, sleep, hang out by the ocean when the sun came up n grab sum delicious fruit n drive out!! Whoa that view just steps from the front door!! It was a bit hard to find since I arrived well into the night. The bathroom was well equipped my only qualm was the bug situation. Early morning bathroom visit startled me the number of bugs in the bathtub but it is a tropical climate and they thankfully didn't join me in bed!! Great hospitality, nice that it is so close to the ocean, a little difficult to find around a tight cozy corner. Overall I would stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Good location, clean room, great communication. A little street noise from Ali'i Drive, no view, no AC, and bathroom isn't en suite, but is private. Good experience overall.
Jun 27, 2019What a wonderful experience! The owner was so easy to work with and very accommodating. We booked with an extremely short notice and everything went so so smoothly. The room and restroom were very clean and stocked with everything you need. It was also very quiet and comfortable. We can't thank the owner enough for a lovely stay.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect location! Walk in to beautiful ocean. The location is so peaceful that you can hear the wave sound all day. The house and room are vey clean and comfortable.
Jun 27, 2019Dominique is wonderful, she goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and respected in her home. Location is unbelievable, close to downtown and right by the ocean! Absolutely would recommend to a friend and can't wait to stay here again! :)

Jul 27, 2019Dominique is a sweet person and did everything so I feel comfortable and welcoming. Shared spaces are accomodable! I was surprised to have my own bathroom and fresh fruits, cereal and coffee !! Really wel’ Managed !! I would definitely go back and suggest this perfect place right on the beach :)
Jun 27, 2019Dominique, was an amazing host, she went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Very helpful and generous. The home was very cozy and welcoming. Even her dog was generous and helped me open a coconut! Lol I would definitely stay here again and tell friends to stay here when in Kona.

Jun 27, 2019예상보다 더 좋았어요~ 호스트가 따뜻하게 맞아주고 방도 깨끗하고 아침에 먹을것도 준비해놔서 각자 알아서 먹을수 있었고 냉장고 사용도 편리했답니다. 세탁기, 건조기도 있어서 여행중 간단한 빨래도 했어요 ㅎㅎ전반적으로 머무는데 있어 불편함 전혀 없고 다른 게스트들도 다들 친절하고 상냥해서 더 좋았던것 같아요!! 최고에요 정말 !!

Jun 27, 2019The location is simply perfect. Close to Center, market just across the road, little beach right in front. The most comfortable bed of all my stay on Hawai’i, didn’t use all the facilities, but great kitchen, cosy dining table and living room. Would always go there again!

Very concerned about my comfort during my stay and had many thoughtful touches that I didn’t expect: Fruit and coffee for breakfast, a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, and lots of good tips about the local beaches. Her place was oceanfront which was wonderful and the bamboo room was on the ground floor—very convenient. Really enjoyed my stay!

Jun 27, 2019We had a great time! Dominique was great and super accomodating. We loved being right next to the ocean and in a great location to get to the shops. The dog at the place is very well behaved and friendly. You don't see or hear her. I enjoyed greeting her a few times.

Jun 27, 2019Everything you would ever need for an easily accessible place to stay in Hawaii can be found in Kathleen’s place! Easy access from the main road, easy to get to different landmarks and places of interest, easy access to delicious food across the street, very close access to the ocean, and an amazing view just outside her home we’re the highlights of my stay. I hope to stay there again if I can! Thank you Kathleen!

Jun 27, 2019I really enjoyed my time at Kathleen’s place! The bamboo room was large, clean and very private with lockable door and access to a semi private bathroom. The best part is its location as it’s steps away from a public access beach. I took a cab from the airport as I had a late check in. It was around $40 and a 10-15 mins drive. Mahalo!
Jun 27, 2019I was in town for work and decided to extend my stay by 2 days in order to explore on my own. This air bnb was perfect for me as I was mainly there to sleep and shower. Great location close to all the food and shops in Kona. It’s a shared space but besides the morning I checked out I didn’t see anybody. It’s perfect for travelers and those who intend to explore to island all day. Bed was comfortable and bathroom is super close to the room. I had an excellent experience.

Jun 27, 2019Dominique was a great host. We really enjoyed chatting with her and all the suggestions she provided us with of places to visit in and around Kona. Also, we loved playing with her cute and friendly dog. The place is located in a good spot in Kona that was fairly quiet and close to the beach. We would still recommend having a rental car or using the trolley to get around the rest of Kona. The condo itself is old and there was a few plumbing issues and leaks during our stay which wasn't so fun to deal with while on vacation. Now saying that Dominique was very quick to have the problems resolved and acted professionally. The bed was comfortable and we slept well but the curtains are thin and a lot of light shines through the windows around 6:30am, it didn't really bother us as we are early risers but to others it may be annoying. A lot of guests buy beach chairs, umbrellas, mats etc. during there stay and then have left it at the house which you are able to borrow when going to the beach. This was a nice added touch as it saved us from having to buy or rent.

Jun 27, 2019The bamboo room was an unexpected delight. The room being down stairs made it an easy, hassle free access to bathroom laundry kitchen and common spaces. I never had any issues sharing the bathroom with any other guests. Quiet, clean and well organized made everything a breeze. I highly recommend. Thank you Dominique for being a great host.
