This private room has plenty of space in a quiet household. Walk to local buses and village as well as Town centre. You will share the home with a couple over 60 years and but have your own living area. Guests have exclusive use of main bathroom and separate toilet which is nearby their room.

Space

Main bathroom and separate lounge are for guests use only. We prefer to host only 1 group/guest at a time but in busy times they may be shared with other guests. Guest toilet is separate from bathroom. You will have shared use of kitchen and laundry with owners. You will have room to hang clothes and drawers for smaller items. There will be a shelf in our fridge and pantry for food if you require it.

Neighborhood Overview

We are close to Norwest, Castle Hill and the Hawkesbury region and 50 mins drive to the lower Blue Mountains. Local bus services run to Blacktown, Parramatta and the city via T way. We are close to several local sport grounds and netball courts, the iconic Fiddler and Australian Brewery hotels.

Notes

We have a small, shy dog who doesn't mind meeting new people but does take a little while to get to know you. He is mostly an outside dog.

Transit

We are easily accessible by car and by bus from City, Parramatta/ Westmead or Blacktown. Our closest rail station is Schofields or Riverstone from which you may require a taxi or bus to nearby our home.

    Helen and Mike were great hosts, very friendly, kind and relaxed. I was in the area for some archaeology work, and would often come back to the spotless house covered in dust and mud, but they never complained. The house is in a quiet location but only a short drive to the supermarkets.

    This was a lovely place to stay with very welcoming people. They were willing to help with info about the locality and anything else necessary. The accomodation was pleasant and airy even on hot days. It was beautifully kept. I would not hesitate about booking here again.
