Since it's a separated living room, sound travels easily and we appreciate if our guests don't make any noise between 11pm and 7am. we guarantee to do the same! Also we are very neat and respectful.

We chose this location because it is very close to prospect park and a short distance to the train. The room was clean, spacious, comfy and well appointed. Having an AC in the room was great since it was 92 degrees when we were there. Our hosts were very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Jun 27, 2019Dmitriy's place is as he describe. It is very quiet and good for a good night's sleep. Keep in mind that it is a sofa bed, so not the most comfortable, but I had no trouble sleeping.

Jun 27, 2019Dimitry and Tatiana were excellent hosts! They gave clear directions and were very helpful. The place itself is pretty much what you see in the photos. They keep their place nice and tidy. Their home is near the subway station and a bus stop is right around the corner. Getting to the city takes about 30-40mins. There are also two grocery shops within walking distance so that's a bonus. Prospect Park is about ten mins away on foot. I would suggest bringing a back pack instead as the building doesn't have an elevator.
Jun 27, 2019Tatiana and Dimitry are both lovely and very helpful!! The room is exactly as depicted. It hs AC wich was nice. Water in shower runs a little low but it is an old building. Very close to subway and some cafes (with good coffee), restaurants and grocery stores.

Jun 27, 2019This is a great value and great place to stay overall. The apartment is conveniently located near a subway station with good service to the rest of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The apartment is kept really clean and the room is spacious and well-equipped. Good internet-access too!

Jun 27, 2019Comfortable room for short stay, close to metro, 40 min from Manhattan. The apartment is on the 4th floor, so it isn't too easy to go with heavy bags.

Jun 27, 2019The location is fine, close to Prospect Park and to the shops and subway in Church av. The room in itself is simple but clean and big enough. I never saw Dmitri, I can't say I got a lot of informations from Tatsiana( I have been told I could use the micro-wave oven on the last day). If you expect to cook or even have breakfast, you must bring your own : sugar, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil, toaster, electric kettle. And the windows are permanently open, so I caught a big cold in the bathroom and I have wandered around NY with an obstructed nose and a sore throat. I recommend this place anyway but have your meals outside.

Jul 27, 2019It was a great experience staying with Dmitriy an Tatyana! The locations is very convenient, a few minutes walking to Q and B lines which take you directly to Manhattan. The place is super clean and organized. The bed is comfy. There is a lot of light coming in. Truly enjoyed communicating with guys, a very pleasant couple! If you coming to visit NY, I’d definitely recommend their place!

Jun 27, 2019Clean apartment and room. Dmitriy was very nice and helpful. However, it has little communication but also because I was almost never there. You can sleep with open windows it is nice and quiet. However, it is also an air conditioner available. I was the entire kitchen with all facilities for use. I can only recommend this accommodation.
Jun 27, 2019They are a married couple, both very respectful. The building is noticeably old, but the apartment itself is kept clean. There are 3 flights of stairs to climb so I suggest carrying no more than 1 luggage. Very close to Q/B lines and B35 bus stop which is convenient. Close to downtown Brooklyn (15-20 minutes), but about 40-45 minutes from Midtown Manhattan via subway, all depending on the subway's mood. There is AC in the living space, which is a must in the in the scorching summer months. Plenty of shelves and closet space for you to use as well. Soaps and shampoo for showering are not provided, which is unusual for an Airbnb, but it is stated in the listing if you read it carefully. While the kitchen is kept very clean, there are small roaches that often roam around at night. They appear to be mostly German roaches, which are smaller and do not fly. They won't bother you in your living space so it won't be an issue unless you need the kitchen. On rare occasions, you may see one or two near the bathroom sink but only at night.

Jun 27, 2019Everything was exactly as described. Dmitriy was responsive and kind, room had everything you need. Maybe a suggestion for the future would be a hairdryer but that's just a small thing :) Apartment is very clean and well kept. Location is close to B and Q subway and a small grocery store is also around the corner.
Jun 27, 2019It was a great place to stay! The B/Q trains werent in service during my stay, but there was an F about 15 minutes away so it was fine overall. Definitely worth the price!
Jun 27, 2019Very good living experience, the room is cozy and quite, you can have a very good rest in Dmitriy’s home. It is adjacent to a nice park. On the other direction, there at lovely house blocks with beautiful view. However, if you want to explore Manhattans, the room is a little bid far away.

Jun 27, 2019This place is in the perfect location for quick access to transit, Prospect Park, and other great local amenities. This neighborhood actually seems to go asleep around 10, as opposed to other areas in and outside the borough. All around great value!
