Perfect place for a few friends, or a couple to come and enjoy New York City in a way that is comfortable and affordable. Staying in an apartment in a great vibrant location that is far enough from the bustle, but close enough for you to walk to the Empire State Building, Madison Square Park, and Union Square. You will be provided with towels, clean sheets, body wash, and shampoo. I will also provide a fully equips kitchen. Will provide wifi and Netflix and HBO for free. I have pullout bed that can accommodate one person, in addition to a queen sized bed in the bedroom. I will not be available in person, but I will have a co-host
Neighborhood Overview
Midtown East/Murray Hill/Kips Bay area is a wonderful neighborhood to stay in while visiting New York City. In the heart of Manhattan you are located close to the 6-N-Q-R-B-D trains a short walk from the home. This neighborhood gives any guest the real experience of living in the City far away enough from the business, but close enough to great eats, attractions and shopping. The duality of relaxation and exploration are met.
Notes
Shir, my co-host if flexible with check in hours, just communicate with her when you plan on arriving, upon booking this listing. There will be an additional $30 charge if the check-in is after 10pm. If keys are lost, there will be an addition $100 charge for lock change.
Transit
You are close to the 6 line subway, which is the east side line. However with a short walk you can take any subway you would need. In addition we have buses that provide the same transportation as the subway, but a bit slower due to traffic. I would recommend using the subway to get everywhere or your feet.
Access
You are able to access all the space. You will be provided with towels, clean sheets, body wash, and shampoo. I will also provide a fully equips kitchen. Will provide wifi and Netflix and HBO for free. I have pullout bed that can accommodate one person, in addition to a queen sized bed in the bedroom.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is in a great location on a quiet street but close to everything. It's actually bigger in real life than it looks in the pictures and it's exceptionally clean. Shir met us there with keys and was a pleasure to work with. We had such a lovely time in New York and this was such a pleasant place to come home to every night.

Jun 27, 2019Just finished spending a week at Leah's place. Very bright and very clean. It's a fantastic location located extremely close to the subway. Quiet location that's only a small trip to the massive summer crowds of New York City. Check in was a piece of cake and any questions I had during the week were immediately answered. I highly recommend!!!

Jun 27, 2019After researching different apartments in NYC for hours and hours, I was so incredibly thankful to have fallen upon Leah's place! It is perfectly located, super clean and stylish inside & the bed is so comfortable! The AC in the apartment is very refreshing and cooling, especially in New York's crazy-hot summers! The elevator-access to the apartment is also great, so that after a long day of exploring the city, you do not have to walk up a load of stairs, but can simply take the elevator up. This apartment was so fabulous to stay in, and I was so sad to leave it! Really recommend to anyone looking for the perfect apartment in NYC!!
Jun 27, 2019Perfect location to visit NYC ! The appartment is in a nice neighbourhood (lot of restaurant, caffee,...) and only 1 block from the subway. You can see the top of the empire state building from the window. The appartment is clean and I slept on the couch and it is not very confortable. There is a bed for two persons but the third person need to sleep on a couch in the living room. There is an air conditionner in each room (fortunately ! this week was so warm and humid) but the installation is a little bit noisy. This is for sure a apparment to advise !

Jun 27, 2019Great location with easy transport links around New York City. Grand central only a few minutes walk away and subway on the next block which we found really useful when going longer distances. Apartment was clean with great facilities in the kitchen and bathroom and a good size communal space. Perfect for two or maybe three people. Meryl was a friendly co-host who was very accommodating throughout our stay and available to contact should we have questions etc. Lots of food places nearby that have gluten free and other dietary meals as well. Would recommend!

Jun 27, 2019The location was great - lots of food options, access to subway, 10min walk to Empire State, conveniently located in midtown Manhattan. The place is extremely clean too and well kept. However, we weren't able to stay for the whole duration due to a misfortune with the apartment keys - we couldn't leave the building because of it. The host stepped up and tried to remedy the issue. Great communication all throughout, we weren't left in the dark and Airbnb was in the loop. By next day, the host graciously offered to rebook us to a nearby nice hotel. A bit inconvenient to checkout then check-in at a different place but the host and Airbnb ensured that we were taken care of. After our misadventures, we managed to enjoy the rest of New York, so thank you!
