Tobi was a gracious and flexible host. I highly recommend staying at Tobi's place if you need a place to crash in Manhattan and want to check out its historic Harlem neighborhood. He was very communicative and friendly, making my short stay very easy and comfortable. Don't hesitate to stay at Tobi's place!

Tobi went out of his way to help us understand the public transport and gave us loads of ideas. Room was clean and comfortable, would highly recommend! Thanks again Tobi!

Jun 27, 2019Allt praktiskt fungerade perfekt. Mycket gästvänlig. Omtänksam, kollade om vi kommit hem på kvällen, kändes bra. Hjälpte oss och boka buss och restaurangbesök. Tog oss till en gospelgudstjänst. Gjorde oss sällskap sista kvällen då vi åt på en restaurang i Harlem. Vi är supernöjda

Jun 27, 2019The apartment was Ok. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The location is convenient, close to some subway stations in a walking distance, even though you make about 30-40 min to get midtown or downtown Manhattan. Even the apparent has a nice look, there were lots of dust everywhere, some parts of the apartment seam to not being cleaned since a very long time. The floors and carpets were dirty and there were stains on it (my partner stuck himself a needle in his foot left on the carpet), particularly in the kitchen, where there were dirty dishes, even the sink had grease and dirt. The dish washer had stagnant stinky water in it. It was home of the cockroaches we found all over the kitchen, food left there and dishes. That’s why we needed to clean up the entire apartment so we could stand for the long of our stay. Tobi offered us to find a cleaner as soon as possible but never appeared. That’s something he needs to look up before anyone comes into the apartment. Other than that the communication was ok, even when we were not able to meet each other during our stay as he was out of town.
Jun 27, 2019Absolutely perfect for the non fussy traveller that wants value for money and an awesome location. Tobi is an excellent host and will make you feel at home and comfortable, he offers tips and ideas so you wont feel lost. I really enjoyed the location and local amenities are perfect. Always had hot water for showers, the bedroom is nice and clean, plus theres netflix and nice big tv in there so you can relax if you need to. I was always out most of the time and loved the location and felt very safe and secure. Its a lovely neighbourhood, with a lot of character. If i go to NYC again i'd defo consider Tobi again.
Jun 27, 2019La casa di Tobi è molto carina e confortevole. La posizione è comoda, infatti si trova a pochi passi dalla fermata della metro e in 20 minuti si raggiunge midtown. La zona è molto tranquilla, anche la sera dopo cena, noi siamo sempre tornati a piedi senza nessun problema. Tobi è un host molto simpatico e disponibile, ci ha aiutato ad ambientarci nella zona ed è sempre stato molto gentile. Sicuramente ritorneremo nel suo appartamento alla prossima visita a New York. Lo consiglio a tutti!
