Space
Our two-bedroom apartment is on the seventh floor (penthouse) of a new condo in Williamsburg. It's very diverse and artistic with plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops in the area. The private guest room receives plenty of natural light and overlooks the Manhattan skyline. It is furnished with a double bed, large closet and air conditioning/heating. The bedroom accommodates 1-2 people and you are always welcome to make use of the entire apartment. You will also have your own private bathroom with a large soaking tub and shower. The apartment features a full kitchen with marble countertops, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The bright living room area features a comfortable sofa, dining area, surround sound speakers and record player, and flat screen television. Wifi internet, A/C and heat are included.

Neighborhood Overview
Hip, quirky Williamsburg is home to dozens of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. If you're craving some nature, the building is also right next door to a park.
Notes
There is currently exterior work being done to the building. This will not affect your room or the interior of the apartment but please note that during this time guests may not access the roof or the balcony and there is scaffolding around the exterior. Please note that the apartment as well as the common area of the building are not to be used for filming (professional or commercial).
Transit
The L train is less than 5 minutes walk from the building. Alternatively, street parking is available in front of the building.
Access
Guests may also use the salt-water swimming pool, hot tub and gym in the basement of the building. All facilities are open 24/7 except the swimming pool which is open only when the lifeguard is on duty (M/W 5pm-9pm, S/Su 1:00pm-8:00pm). Washer and dryer facilities are also available in the building if needed. Free street parking is available in front of the building.

Space & Amenities: The photos are fully representative of the spaces offered (bedroom, bathroom, neighborhood, and amenities) in a condominium penthouse. Every area is spacious, sleek, and modern. Hosts: Grade & Matt are friendly, and incredibly open & willing to help. Gave great restaurant suggestions, and were clearly informed about the area. They are as hands-off as need be, but also provide great company with engaging conversation (they only just recently returned from their expansive Asia trip!) As an additional note: Grace and Matt went out of their way on a Saturday afternoon to arrange a last minute booking for me and my girlfriend for that weekend. Grace rushed to Ikea (struggling with the ever despondent MTA) to prepare their space for us to the best of their efforts. Location: 1. Plethora of restaurants with cheap, yet delicious food all within a few blocks walking radius. Supermarkets (in case of longer stay) also within a 10 minute walking radius. 2. 3 block walk to the L train, 3 stops (10 mins) from Manhattan. 3. Quiet, low-key residential neighborhood Great overall experience in a beautiful area with friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Tout s'est très bien passé chez Grace et Mathieu, je recommande vivement leur appartement qui est très bien placé dans Williamsburg, proche du métro. La communication a été parfaite entre nous, notamment avec Mathieu, qui nous a conseillé sur pleins d'endroits à faire à NYC. Je reviendrai sans aucun problème et avec plaisir !
Jun 27, 2019Clean, quiet, neat. Very easy to get to and to navigate around neighborhood. Quick walk to the metro. Our host was helpful, thoughtful and considerate. Had a positive first experience. I would highly recommend this spot!

The location is excellent as well as her place. It is clean and comfortable. What you see in the pictures are exactly where you will be staying, clean and stylish. The private bathroom was an extra. I would like to stay at her place again. Thank you very much!
Jun 27, 2019My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a great stay. We literally just used the apartment to sleep and shower as we had a busy schedule but it seems like a nice place to stay and work, or just hang out if you have a little more time on your hands. The flat was really clean, the WiFi worked well and our hosts were very helpful when we kept changing our check in time. I really liked the area too - short walk to lots of bars and restaurants. We'd definitely stay again next time we visit NYC.

Their place is great located, only few stops by subway to Manhattan. We highly recommend Grace and Matt place for visit in NYC. They are very helpful and friendly hosts. We are grateful for their assistance and possibility to stay in their home. It was our first experience with Airbnb and turned out a great way to travel for us, especially thanks to Grace and Matt. No hotel will provide you with such important knowledge about the place you are staing in and the locals. Thank you very much Grace and Matt!

Very clean room with a view, great shower to wash off the city at the end of the day, nice building (staff & amenities), and great location to see NY beyond Manhattan. Public trans to/ from was easy, but I really liked how close they were to the Williamsburg bridge so I could walk directly. Grace was kind enough to provide public trans directions from JFK and Matt was nice enough to provide tourist recommendations to my mother and I. If you are a female traveling alone, I think their place is a great option! Would stay again!

As described, the view was partially obstructed by construction, but, boy, if you are there on a day when the construction equipment is not blocking, what a view! Grace and Matt were great hosts, offering suggestions on what to see and do and getting to the airport, but also left us to head out quickly on one of our busier days. The room was private, with private bath immediately across the hall. We found the room and bath to be clean, and included the necessities. The hosts have their own bathroom, separate from AirBNB guests. The building was a short two or three block walk to the subway station for easy access to Manhattan. Parking (when we first arrived with a car from Massachussetts), was tight, but pretty easy to park and unload before dropping our rental car off. Great stay, highly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019I was in town for a Hypnotherapy training in NYC and wanted to stay in Brooklyn near a friend's place. This was the perfect location (could walk to the L train easily + lots of great restaurants and a grocery store nearby) and the space was very clean. Grace was there to welcome me and get me set up with keys when I arrived and made me feel comfortable. The bed was comfortable, it was great to have my own bathroom with shower/tub, and she even gave me a shelf in the fridge for my things! I enjoyed using the indoor hot tub and pool in the building as well. Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Excellent space as described. Very clean, organized and comfortable. Great location, close to the L train. Plenty of restaurants and food within walking distance. This was our first time renting a room and it was perfect; great communication with host and privacy. Would definitely recommend and stay in the future.

We used the pool and sauna a couple of times which was great after a long day walking around exploring NYC. We would totally recommend staying here, our experience was perfect!

Jun 27, 2019I will admit to be hesitant when it comes to AirBnB in NY - a natural skeptic. Grace and Matt's home was beyond my expectations and not only is the home lovely but so are they. The location is absolutely perfect and easy to get anywhere in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I will definitely be staying with them on any future trips to NY!
Jun 27, 2019The place is exactly as described, very nice, clean and in a good location. The host was knowledgeable about the local area and activities and was available when we needed. The only downfall is the construction on the building which is described in the listing. Even with the construction you still get and incredible view of the city. Although we personally did not use them the amenities were a nice touch to and already great place.

Jun 27, 2019Very clean, great value, great location! Train stop within walking distance but also a lot of places to walk to within the neighborhood. I really loved the private bathroom, everything was super tidy and clean. Apartment is exactly as pictured and located within a secure building. Grace was so kind and easy to talk to, she was available when needed but also gave us space/privacy. Really couldn’t ask for a better host to share an apartment with for a few days!

Jun 27, 2019Very good location in Brooklyn about 10 min from subway stop. It's not a large apt but Grace tries very hard not to be even noticeable when they have guests. Modern with great exercise facility downstairs. Lovely view of the City!

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Grace's apartement. The skyline view was fantastic. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed being able to use the seperate bathroom. Grace and Matt were helpful and provided us with recommendations for the neighborhood area and information regarding the airport express. It is just a five minute walk to the subway. Check-in was very easy and we could text Grace anytime if we had any questions. We loved it - thank you!

The subway at Graham Avenue is a 5min walk away at most which made getting into Manhattan a breeze. Brunch and late night drinks at Harefield Road just around the corner was well worth it. 5*

Jun 27, 2019Had an amazing stay at Grace’s! The location is amazing, my boyfriend and I explored all over New York and Williamsburg was our favourite part. The apartment is super close to a ton of awesome bars, restaurants and the subway. The unit was very clean and Grace was very accommodating. Note that if you’re bringing a vehicle to park either really early in the morning or in the evening as it was challenging to find parking during the day. Would definitely stay at Grace’s again next time I’m in New York.
Jun 27, 2019This was our first visit to NYC and Grace's place was perfect for us. It was well maintained and even though we had to share the kitchen and living room area, Matt and Grace were great hosts who gave us plenty of room and freedom in the apartment. We did not feel like intruders but like visitors who were welcomed. The place was close to the subway which we easily learned to use with the help of "City Mapper" a subway app in the play store of our android phone. We could travel most any place in Manhatten within 30 minutes which we did daily. Some of the sites traveled to by subway were top of the rock, times square, pier 83 circle line cruises, Museum of Natural Science, and 911 museum. Furthermore, we were able to park in the street near the building and our vehicle was safe. We would recommend Graces and Matt's place to anyone visiting NYC.

L train not operating on weekend or after 11 p.m. makes for a mile walk to subway station shuttles not a good substitute. Gym very nice pool and spa nice but not always open. Bed a bit small for 2 people. Hosts bedroom on other side of wall from guest room.

The apartment is close to the L subway station, making it handy to go to Manhattan and around Brooklyn. The room was comfortable enough for us, it is also fully accommodated with AC & heater. The bathroom was a good size too.
