If you have a big family make sure to check our other apartment as well! Its location merges Porto's art district with the lively city center. With very high ceilings and spacious rooms, you will have all the confort you need to relax after the long days cruising the city. And a different twist when you get in - we furnished and decorated the apartment with products made by young Portuguese designers and artists. But with no fuss. We just want to offer you the possibility to experience what is done best in Portugal while supporting small scale entrepreneurs.

Neighborhood Overview
Well, this is quintessential Porto downtown. You will be in the heart of Porto’s art district, where you'll find great galleries, young artist ateliers and shops, and can basically walk to all pins in the map. Jog by the river Douro in the morning, stroll by Aliados in the afternoon and hit Galerias de Paris for nightlife! No matter how busy the city looks, quietness is waiting for you when you return home after a long day exploring Porto’s secrets!

Accueil chaleureux, Filipe est un hôte très organisé, dès notre arrivée, un plan et un guide papier regroupant les principales attractions de la ville nous ont été remis. L'appartement est très agréable et confortable. Nous tenons à féliciter Filipe pour avoir aménagé cet appartement des années 40/50 avec un mobilier "vintage scandinave". Excellente literie, tout le nécessaire est prévu, et propreté irréprochable. Bien situé, et de nombreux commerces à proximités.
Jun 27, 2019The host: Very responsive and easy to communicate with, with flexibility in check-in time even though we booked with short notice (booking in the morning). Sara checked us in and gave us some great customized / tailored tips and advice based on our interests, really friendly and professional interaction. The property: Very comfortable and neat apartment, with good quality and trendy furnishings. Located in the arts district, a short (10min) walk to most attractions and the best local restaurants/bars, and a 25min walk to the Ribeira (which is a bit more touristic). Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with necessary cooking utensils. Welcoming drinks were a lovely touch. Overall: We had a lovely time and would certainly come back next time we are in Porto!

Jun 27, 2019Apartment is just beautiful, nicely decorated, very good atmosphere, totally clean and tidy, plenty of space and in good location of Porto. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, patient and sharing lots of holiday tipps. It was very nice meeting Sara in person and Filipe via email. Thanks a lot for a great time and being perfect hosts!
Jun 27, 2019Filipe's place was great, very clean and spacious. The welcome gift upon check in was appreciated along with all of Sara's recommendations! Some street noise at night (but you are in the centre of a city so to be expected). Would stay here again!

O ponto alto do apartamento é o Décor do apartamento que é perfeito. A comunicação foi muito fácil e as dicas enviadas pelo Filipe e pela Sara foram preciosas. Espero poder hospedar novamente no apartamento!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay in the apartment was wonderfull. It was nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. Everything we used was almost as new and tastefully chosen. The location was just fine, near the center, but not in the busy, touristic part. Around the corner we found everything we needed. Restaurants, wine bar, supermarket and shops. Together with Filipe’s advice and suggestions ware to go, we enjoyed our stay in Porto very much. Filipe is a perfect host, enthusiastic and well informed; our introduction to Porto could not have been better.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is cozy, spatious and convenient. And very clean. We travelled with a baby and it was perfect for that. The location is right in the centre, everything you need is within walking distance. And the best of it all was Filipe who is an excellent host and gave us some great tips on what to do and see in Porto including where to find nice restaurants and bars. We definitely recommend this place!

Jun 27, 2019Filipes apartment is a very lovely space with beautiful furniture and 2 super comfy bedrooms. its central and check in and communication is very easy. We enjoyed the welcome present a bottle of wine on the very cozy couch. Only thing is its a little cold in the winter even though you have portable heaters. But we felt at home anyways.

He was absent the day we arrived but his friend was waiting for us at home. My son loved the place so much that he keep asking me to return to Filipe's house. Thank you Filipe for our stay. Jun 27, 2019Had a wonderful stay at Filipe's, Before we arrived, Filipe had mailed a whole lot of useful tips which were really helpful. He was always available and though we did not meet, promptly answered any queries that made our stay even more comfortable. The apartment is very nice, it is as described and everything was in place. Definetely looking forward to the next trip to Porto and hopefully would like to stay at Filipe's place again. Thanks Filipe.

It is located in a great neighbourhood from which we walked everywhere, into the old town and down to the water. Filipe was easy to communicate with and provided some great local tips. We would have no hesitation staying again!

Jun 27, 2019I have stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s. This is one of the best, practical, everything works perfectly, clean, comfortable and clean bedding. Would even stay again! Sara and Filip were great and they were available every time.

Jun 27, 2019We gladly recommend this superb house, and Filipe! Excellent house, tastefully furnished and decorated. Felt like the city house you would always want, facing a hidden back yard. The location is super, and Filipe is great! Superb recommendations, each one was spot on. It may get a bit noisy on a Saturday night outside the bedroom windows, with happy people returning from local bars, but the street is fairly quiet the rest of the days. We will gladly recommend both the house and our host Filipe!
Jun 27, 2019Really lovely apartment with nice personal touches and everything you could need. Easy to walk to local restaurants and into town. About 40mins walk across to the port houses. Quiet street during the day, worth noting both bedrooms are at the front of the property and it was noisy at night on the weekend, if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. Super place though, would recommend.

Jun 27, 2019Das Aparment ist wirklich ein kleines Schmuckstück und die Freundlichkeit und Professionalität unserer Gastgeber war toll! Die Tipps für Restaurants und schnelle Wege zu Fuß in der Umgebung waren Gold wert und die kulinarische Ausstattung (Kaffee, Tee, Bier, Wein, Gastgebergeschenk mit Obst und Portwein) hat das gemütliche Ankommen sehr versüßt. Auch die Kommunikation während unseres Aufenthalts war sehr nett und davon geprägt, uns eine tolle Zeit in Porto zu ermöglichen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder Filipe als Gastgeber wählen!

Jun 27, 2019Filipe’s place is just like what’s in the pictures, very nice, clean and convenient to all the shops and restaurants, we walked to everywhere we needed to go. Filipe provided a lot of written guide, Sarah his colleague who greeted us gave us a lot of useful information to get around town. Really enjoyable stay, highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019Great location and very stylish and clean apartment. Hosts gave great info and recommendations which really made for a brilliant stay in Porto. Welcome Port and small touches really helped. Would definitely recommend this apartment. Hosts could not have been more helpful. I would suggest bringing some ear plugs as there is some building works on the road in the early week day mornings. Otherwise a perfect base for exploring Porto.

Very good quality linen and towels and a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely green space to look out at from the living room. Would definitely highly recommend this place!

Jun 27, 2019A group of four friends had an amazing stay at Filipes apartment. It is in the perfect location, just out of the Center in a great arty area but close enough to everything. The space is super clean and tidy, with lots of lovely additional touches. It can get a little loud at night in the street outside the bedroom windows but other than that you cannot fault it. The greatest part of staying here though is the hospitality. Filipes friend Joao welcomed us with a smile and a whole range of really great information - but went over and above when I realised I had left my passport in the taxi - ringing the taxi company and airport police and dealing with them for me until it was found. The excellent communication and support from both Joao and Filipe before, during and after our stay was second to none. I can highly recommend staying here.

Jun 27, 2019I love this apartment! It's light, airy and tastefully decorated and is extremely well-equipped. It's spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. Sara checked me in and provided a very useful map (better than the airport ones!) and marked various places of interest on it - she was so friendly and helpful. There was a 'welcome pack' of fruit and port, and essentials like tea, coffee and oil were provided. There's even an 'honesty bar', with good-quality wine and craft beers. The only slight negative is that the street can be a little noisy at times, but I'm not a light sleeper, fortunately!

Jun 27, 2019Alojamiento perfecto, puedes recorrer a pie toda la ciudad. Muy acogedor y tiene todo lo que se puede necesitar y mas. Todo lo necesario para el bebé, muchos detalles. Tiene escaleras para subir, pero incluso yendo con un bebe no cuesta nada subirlas.

Jun 27, 2019This space is exactly what it looks like. I enjoyed morning coffee in the patio. The two bedrooms were great for my daughter and myself. Lots of amenities; coffee, tea, olive oil, dish soap, my daughter commented there was even a first aid kit. The location is nice, it's not in the middle of everything, but very close. The bedrooms are in the front of the building so street noise is heard. The space above this one is an airbnb rental also and, due to the beautiful wood floors there isn't much insulation between the two floors. If you don't know how to use outside European window shades for the bedrooms, ask, they are wonderful.
