We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Super friendly staff. The place was exactly as described and for the price I would say it was a steal. The ocean is right across the street! So much to do in Kauai, the 4 days we had here were not enough. We did have one day of rain and Javed was extremely helpful in giving us ideas of things to do when our original plans were canceled due to the weather. Highly recommend.

Jun 27, 2019Staying here was wonderful. Check in was very easy. The place was very private. Poipu Beach is a block away. Everything was very clean. It was great having a kitchen. Also a big help was being able to borrow beach towels, chairs and even a cooler. Totally recommend this place.
Jun 27, 2019Great value place. Nice touch with fresh local flowers in the room. We were missing our blender and when I asked at the front office they immediately brought out a brand new one. They have beach towels and chairs to borrow - which was nice for beach days, although it rained hard for a lot of our stay. Staff could not have been any friendlier. So kind and hospitable. Think it would be hard to find a better bargain right on the coast - literally a stone's throw from the beach!

Jun 27, 2019This place was very accurate to the description in the posting. Our favorite part was how walk-able the location was to the beach and the neighborhood the condo was located in. It was also convenient that the main office had towels, coolers, beach chairs etc. Everything you would need for the beach!
Jun 27, 2019This place was great to stay! Clean, good amenities, great location. There is a mangoe tree near the office and we go to have fresh picked mangoes every day! Its super close to two main beaches with a couple other nice beaches a short drive away. Its close to town for some good food. Javed was a great host!
Jun 27, 2019Outstanding! Poipu Plantation is quiet, the room very spacious, and the fresh flowers in our room smelled wonderful. Javed had great information on things to do. The office is fully stocked with many resources to plan trips, along with towels, chairs and sunscreen for going to the beach. The location is very convenient from the airport and for many activities.
Jun 27, 2019Poipu Plantation is located within walking distance to Poipu Beach. Late check-in was not an issue. Our key was waiting for us when we arrived. The rental is stocked with essential cooking equipment, including a coffee grinder, blender, toaster, and utensils. This was very important to us since we are vegan and enjoy preparing our own meals. Large doors with screens make taking in the breeze easy (Orchid unit). The a/c was a key feature, making sleeping at night fantastic. Javed and Maddy are incredibly friendly, answering questions and offering suggestions. It was also wonderful to have access to beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, and an ice chest!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Poipu Plantation was fantastic. The price was incredible for being one or two blocks from the beach! The place was nice and clean, and the clubhouse office had supplies you could borrow for your adventures on Kauai. When I came back sunburned, Javed even hooked me up with some aloe spray that really helped ease my pain. Quiet area, great space. Can't recommend enough.
Jun 27, 2019Comfortable 1-bed/1-bath room with a very Hawaiian feel, about a 10 minute walk from Poip'u Beach Park with it's excellent snorkeling protected by a man-made jetty. Lot's of fish, but bring water shoes to walk on the rocks past the edge of the sand in the water for the best experience. Javed was very accommodating and responded to emails right away, and very knowledgeable about the area and friendly. Clean, quiet, very pretty, comfy bed, and a great location to visit the rest of the Kauai.

Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay at the Poipu Plantation. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and a great location to access activities on the western side of the island such as Waimea Canyon. Poipu Beach is a great area with a beautiful beach to snorkel at. Javed was an excellent host and has some great recommendations of things/places to check out. Just ask! Check-in was made super easy and communication was excellent. Place was clean, equipped with AC and had a lovely touch with some flowers on the table for us. Would def recommend and stay here again.

We were a walk away from the beautiful ocean. Javed, the other staff and his beautiful sweet Irish setters were always warm and helpful.

Jun 27, 2019The best place to stay in Poipu! Just steps away from the Poipu beach park, Javed’s place offers everything you need for a fabulous vacation. The facility is super quiet, beautifully adorned by plumeria trees and other fruit trees, and overall very nicely maintained. Maddy and Javed at the office gave us great local trips and what we could do in town based on our preferences. The office is kept open all the times and it is stocked with beach chairs, coolers, beach towels and bottled water to help yourselves. The kitchen inside our apartment was also stocked with basic supply of spices, pots and pans. The apartment itself was very nice and compact for the two of us. We used the AC only for a couple of hours at night, otherwise the ceiling fans were enough to keep the place ventilated during our trip in October. We will definitely come back to Poipu plantation on our next trip to Kauai! Mahalo!

Jun 27, 2019Great hosts and excellent location a few minutes walk from Poipu Beach. Our place had everything we needed... including air conditioning, coffee grinder, all the cooking supplies, beach towels, beach chairs, guidebooks, coolers, fast wifi and local knowledge. Bed was very comfortable and the resort itself was pretty quiet which we appreciated. There's also a bbq available for use. We will for sure stay here again when we return.

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I spent 4 days at Poipu Plantation. The accommodations were very comfortable and very clean. The office staff is very friendly and willing to help with suggestions on what to do in the area. The office is always open and is stocked with all sorts of beach equipment for the guest’s use. They also have travel books on Kauai available and sunscreen if you need it. The location is great. Only a five minute drive to Shipwreck Beach where you can watch sunrise in the morning. The rates are very affordable for the area.
Jun 27, 2019Javed is a wonderful and friendly host. We stayed at Ilima garden view but the location is a perfect location to the Poipu Beach that we walked over to enjoy the ocean view all the time. It’s a great location for us to explore the west and east side of Kauai. It’s a location that is close to a shopping area and restaurant and other attractions area such as horning hole and shipwreck beach. We would definitely recommend the location and stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Prime location! It was within walking distance to Poipu Beach Park and a short drive to everything else! The plumerias in the room made the arrival experience much more welcoming and inviting. We loved it and would stay again!
Jun 27, 2019My wife and I were coming to Kauai and this place was a great option for us. It is within a quick walk to the beach and a nice beachfront restaurant as well as beach toys for rent. The staff were very helpful in providing options and recommendations for the things we wanted to do. They helped to make the overall experience even better. We will definitely try to stay here again when we visit next time.
Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Poipu Plantation was exactly as advertised (and even a little better!) Javed is super accessible and excited to share with you his knowledge of Kauai. The space is very well stocked - we could have easily cooked every day with the basics and kitchen equipment supplied. The area is lovely, very close walking distance to the beach and swimming areas. Make sure you head to Poipu Beach Park to see the sunset! The two dogs in the office daily were a plus for us. We would love to stay at Javed’s place again!

You will be close to the ocean (I could hear the sound of waves during the night) and Javed will give all the informations/suggestions you need to have a wonderful time in Kauai!

From the time of booking, Javed was in contact with detailed information on what to expect, drive time from airport, check in details and also key tips for a successful stay. We also had access to beach towels, coolers, chairs, and all the essentials for our hike and beach filled stay. My friend and I stayed in the Ilana room. It was spacious, clean, cute, and well stocked with everything we needed for our 4 days in Kauai. The location itself was perfect! We were able to access the entire island by car (except for north shore since it was closed due to flood repairs). I highly recommend this gem in Kauai! The icing on the cake were all the great insider tips we got from Javed about excursions! I can’t wait to return! Thank you Javed & entire staff!
Jun 27, 2019While I didn’t meet with Javed in person, I received timely check in information along with helpful directions. I arrived after dark, so had a little difficulty finding the key but a helpful neighbor directed me to the spot where the keys are kept. The grounds are lush and lovely. Very quiet at night and filled with tropical bird calls in the morning. The location is wonderful...steps to a wonderful beach, known for snorkeling, surfing, and sea turtles! Very comfortable in the one bedroom villa that I stayed in for four nights. Enjoyed the kitchen for breakfasts and packing picnics. Nice to have cool drinks and snacks to return to, after an adventurous day. Woman at the check in desk was friendly and helpful. Appreciated the suggestion to borrow a beach chair and towel to keep in the car along with a small cooler while I toured the island. Will return!
