Beautiful and quiet with all the amenities one would expect in a luxury hotel, the host was friendly and very accommodating this place is a value for the price.

Jun 27, 2019The house is same as the pic shows, very close to the Park, clean and warm. We arrive at house around 7:00pm, lights and heater are (Website hidden by Airbnb) is very warm, just like back home. Danielle is also very kindly to support my family. But that area is not very close to big super market, so be sure you take enough food if you come to the house very late.

Jun 27, 2019The Ku‘uipo Cottage truly embodies what Big Island living should be like. Very secluded and away from the bustle of town, with all the amenities and charm of a home. This cottage was clean, had a beautiful interior, and was very comfortable. Loved waking up to the ‘ōhi‘a forest every morning! Danielle was also very responsive and helpful before checking in as well! This home was such a nice central location if you plan on driving to both Hilo and Kona side during your stay, and I definitely recommend it. Can't wait for our next visit back!

I booked this beautiful house on a whim hoping we'd be able to rest. She was very accommodating and sweet over the phone. Mahalo!!!

Jun 27, 2019Danielle’s place is super cozy and private. I didn’t have a problem finding the street off Highway 11, it’s between the 23rd and 24th mile markers. Pay close attention to mile markers they use them a lot around here. I love the area of Volcano. It pretty much rained every night and most days but the temp was still in the 80’s. I’m from CA where it hardly ever rains so i enjoyed it. Kona Coast is 96 miles, easy day trip and back from house. Hilo and Rainbow falls just a short trip down the mountain. Town of Volcano is about 3 miles away, there’s a couple of restaurants with a great menu. I would definitely stay again, thanks Danielle.

Jun 27, 2019This a great location for travelers looking for peace and quiet while also being within reasonable range of many great outdoor activities. Volcanoes National Park is right next door, the punalu'u black sand beach is 40 min away, and not much farther is the green sand beach. You can also do an easy day trip to Kona with an amazing coastline drive to get there!
