The condo is in downtown Kailua Kona. The condo is on Alii Drive, which runs along Kailua Bay. Within a few blocks are a farmers' market, coffee shops, many restaurants and bars, and various shops. There are more than 25 restaurants within 0.7 miles.

A trolley runs along Alii Drive from the pier to the north to the Sheraton to the south. There are several wonderful beaches along the trolley route. You don't need a car, but you will probably want one to explore the rest of the Big Island.
