If you have any questions on what is considered washable, please feel free to ask. :) You must provide your own detergents and softener. - Quiet Hours 11pm-7am - No shoes in studio. Sean & Rosie were very accommodating in my needs and short notice request. The check-in was a breeze and the place was really cute. It was so close to the airport which was perfect for my flight out the next day. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay there and I would definitely stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Thank you so very much, dear Rosie for helping me out and hosting me for one night. Because of unexpected circumstances I needed a very short termed solution for one night in Kona. I contacted Rosie at 8 p.m. and at 10 p.m. I was already in cosy, very clean, warm room and bed. Rosie is outstandingly friendly, helpful and lovely. And offered her help far beyond the description on airbnb. All information given on airbnb are absolutely true. My best wishes for her, her family and hopefully always having nice guest, aloha Miriam

Jun 27, 2019Rosie is a very lovely host and easy to communicate with at any time. The flat was very clean and lovely. My friend and I slept on a nice bed. The apartment is very good located and safe, but a car is needed. Close to the airport and to the beach. We felt like at home. We can recommend that apartment! thank you for the nice stay!

Location was outside of central Kailoua but perfect for seeing all of the west side of the island! Rosie was even nice enough to lend us some beach gear for our stay! Thanks again for a great stay!
Jun 27, 2019Nice little studio that is perfect for one person, especially for a vacationer that is out exploring during the day and simply needs a comfortable quiet place to crash. The studio was outfitted with just about everything you would need and the hosts are tremendously friendly so if you need something else they are there to help. It can be very warm in the area without AC, but the studio is well shaded and is fine while using a fan for sleeping. It had a refrigerator, big toaster oven, microwave, nice shower, big TV w/ direct TV, plenty of storage space via large closet. Very good value.

Jun 27, 2019Meine Freundin und ich haben dort übernachtet bevor wir aus Kona weitergeflogen sind. Die nächste Bushaltestelle und der Flughafen sind 3 km weit weg. Insofern ist ein Auto oder Taxi für An- und Abreise notwendig. Das Zimmer war tadellos und der Selbst-Checkin problemlos. Wir hatten auf Grund des kurzen Aufenthalts keinen Kontakt zu Sean & Rosie.

We had everything we needed and extra little items were there in case we forgot something like shampoo, coffee, etc. Very thoughtful of the owners and much appreciated! Rosie was very helpful and so nice to communicate with throughout the booking and arrival. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Jun 27, 2019I booked less than a week before my arrival to the island and ended up not staying at the apartment at all. They have a very strict cancellation policy (7 days), which is fine. I politely asked to be refunded for the $30.00 cleaning fee, but was denied. They said the room had to be dusted and have the smell refreshed prior to next arrival that was coming in. So I paid for 3 nights and a $30.00 cleaning fee for a place I never set foot in. It does look like a nice place to stay though, thus why I did not give them poor ratings.
Jun 27, 2019What a charming location in a very quiet neighborhood. We found it to be the perfect respite in our travels back and forth from Hilo to Kona. Everything was clean and nicely appointed. The extras were so appreciated; microwave, refer, coffee pot with coffee and filters provided. Bed and pillows were so comfortable and cozy. Beautiful shower and cute little dog, Maile. Made us feel very much at home. Thanks Rosie and Sean!!

Jun 27, 2019They weren't very helping to get my money back I called them not even two minutes after I booked the room. I made a mistake. I do not have enough money to spend on places I didn't even stay at. The taxi would if cost me 80 there and 80 back plus 112$ for the room in all American money
Jun 27, 2019Location is wonderfully close to the airport and all things Kona, north and south, easily accessible beaches and places to explore. Very close to Costco and Walmart for supplies. Separate entry with keycode access was nice. Laundry was right there and available included in rental which was awesome. Just enough space for 2 people with private bathroom with stand-up shower. Loved access to wifi as well. Met both host and hostess who were very friendly and offered good tips for the island. Highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019Sean and Rosie's place is just a short drive from Kona Int'l Airport which is very handy when you land late in the evening. My wife and I stayed 3 nights. The room was very clean and the queen size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size complete with shampoo, conditioner etc. The microwave, coffee maker, fridge etc. made light meal prep very easy. An extra bonus was being able to use the washer and dryer which are just steps away from the suites private entrance. Rosie made us feel very welcome and was ready to answer all our questions.

Jun 27, 2019Had trouble connecting to internet. Otherwise room exactly as depicted except even bigger than expected. Only stayed one night but with microwave, toaster oven, fridge and freezer, could easily stay longer.

Jun 27, 2019Sean and Rosie were so welcoming and hospitable! Even before arriving, Rosie was readily available to answer any questions we had and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. The studio had all the amenities, from kitchen supplies (including fridge, microwave, and toaster oven), to air conditioning, to all the bathroom supplies you could probably think of. They had a book full of information about the island and a list of beaches, restaurants, hikes, etc. to visit on the island. Very friendly, inviting us to a get together they were having with friends or offering honey from her family’s local beekeeping business. 10/10 would recommend and would stay with them again if I ever have the opportunity to return! Thank you for everything!
Jun 27, 2019The toilet stopped working in the middle of the night and the host wanted us to pay for it even though we didn't do anything special. Very rude. The house is very hot and no AC during the day. They urge us to leave 10 minutes after checkout. Will not come back.

The location is great if you want to be close to the airport and it's very easy to get to and from Kailua-Kona from this location. The owners were very fast to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Jun 27, 2019I was there for only one night, but the place provided everything I needed for my short stay. It was nice having a private bathroom and the mini fridge to keep my water cold. Even with both fans on, it was still pretty hot in there, which might have become an issue if I had stayed longer. Being so close to the airport meant I didn't have to wake up too early, which was perfect.

Jun 27, 2019Sean and Rosie were great. There home is cute and comfy. We loved the Plumeria trees and loved being so close to Downtown. We had tv with satellite channels, fan, coffee, refrigerator, toaster, basically everything you need for your stay. Great location and nice and safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Sean & Rosie provided a very nice room with great amenities. The TV was high quality and the room was over all very nice. They provided coffee and water and some snacks along with toiletries which was really sweet. They do charge an additional tax fee disclosed in the description.

Jun 27, 2019This was a perfect stay! comfortable bed, clean and close to the airport. had a private entry which is great for late arrivals. also had a small ac plus a huge fan to keep the place perfectly cool while we slept. loved all the added amenities such as snacks, water, coffee, tv, microwave, shower stuff, a booklet of recommendations. amazing hosts! would stay again :)
Jun 27, 2019I stayed only one night but you can tell Rosie and Sean really have at heart your stay within their place! Shame I couldn't stay longer... I really enjoyed my stop there, the room was super clean, the shower enjoyable also with the aromatic soaps available... It was the perfect stop!
Jun 27, 2019Nice place, 5min drive to the airport. Clean and pretty like the pictures. We experienced that they tried to charge us for a tax not mentioned in the ad. We booked this place in May and they sent us a message a couple of months before the trip; quite tricky to say no, is it? At the end, once in their apartment we decided to say no to pay extra as it wasn't mentioned when we booked the room. They agreed so we had no further issues. Funny facts: - They are quite cost-conscious so you will have to open the toilet key so the flush works. - You can use their washing machine but with your own washing soap&softener (reflexion: as a 1/2/3 night host, would you buy a bottle of soap?) - Hot water is available but had no clue how to turn it on. - They make you park in the gravel. Thing that is fine as soon as you don't break your leg as they won't be responsible for any damage to you or your car. Mahalo guys for host us! We had a great time.

Jun 27, 2019Great value and highly recommend the place to anyone who is visiting Kona. The place is close to the airport and busy street area, especially if you have a rental car. The room is simple with the private bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and have two cute dogs. In the room, there are some local guides and their recommendations that will help you find things to do in town. They also provided the additional information about themselves which I found it is super cute and has the personal touch. Thank you for offering the amazing place! I really enjoyed my staying.

We had a great stay and would have stayed longer if the rest of our trip wasn’t already planned. It’s very close from the airport which is very convenient to come and leave the island. Jun 27, 2019We were pleased with our accommodations. We had our own entrance with a private bathroom to ourselves. The price was great and Rosie was particularly helpful. We came in late in the dark and were having trouble reading the street signs. We called Rosie and she got in her car and met us on the street and we followed her to her home. We would definitely stay here again should we come to this area in the future.

Jun 27, 2019Loved it! *Great Location - 5mins from the Kona Airport , Safe neighborhood , easy to find *Room- Bed was very comfortable , microwave AND a toaster oven (can't find that at a hotel!) , clean , large shower, washer/dryer right outside your door , FREE WiFi , large TV and A LOT of amenities (Sean and Rosie thought of everything) *Parking - Right next to your room!! This worked out great since we had a large drum to carry :) *Host-Communcation was great! Host were very responsive!! Thank you guys for sharing your hale (house) with us!!!
