Neighborhood Overview
Wan Chai is for foodies! Why? Just look at the number of Michelin restaurants we have in our neighbourhood. Wan Chai is also an area with local colour (e.g. Blue House, Tai Yuen Street) but connected to the international part of HK, e.g. Central, Causeway Bay.
Notes
There is WIFI available at every corner of the hostel. We have computers from guests too. There are multiple guide books and free maps.
Transit
The hostel is two blocks from the Wan Chai MTR. On top of that, the Wan Chai Ferry Pier which brings you to Tsim Sha Tsui. Coach services to China is one minute from the hostel. For sure, there are buses and trams to all parts of HK as well.

For the first time sleeping in a hostel ever, I was positively surprised. It was better than expected. Very clean. Best area in Hong Kong and really nice hostess. Overall I am glad that I chose this acc, could never find a better deal!

Jun 27, 2019It's an awesome location and pretty central to the whole HK island. The MTR bus just right in front of the door and Metro station within 5 mins walking distance. But, the internet is too slow( not just my feeling) and there are 3 levels of beds as a set when you are at the bottom level people may not notice you. I was in the 9 mixed bedroom and the room is tiny, the air was not fresh from midnight to the morning because it not circulated when the windows were closed and full of so much people though. The cleanness is really nice, they have people all day to change the sheet for each bed and you can always get the water to drink outside the door. Overall, it was ok.I would choose it for a short stay but wouldn't stay here for more than 3 days.
Jun 27, 2019The place is super small, the highest beds are uncomfrotable because are close to the ceiling, the experience depends about the others guests there, sometimes is quite sometimes noisy

Jun 27, 2019To be honest, I am not sure why this is listed on AirBnB. This is a traditional hostel, and a very good one I must say. The staff keep the rooms and common areas very clean, and all front desk staff are very helpful. Remember to bring a towel (or you can rent one), eyemask, earplugs and a lock for the locker, althought you can buy one here as well. I will def stay here in the future.

Jun 27, 2019Had a great stay here in Hong Kong. Rooms are simple but don't need much more. Quite well priced in comparison to rest of Hong Kong. Staff are amazing. Super helpful. Location was great as well. Really close to the MTR just two blocks and in perfect location for my needs. Really close to Harbour as well. Definitely would recommend staying here especially for those on a limited budget.
