Neighborhood Overview
It's located next to Mckinley Park (tennis, basketball, baseball courts) across St. Ephrems Church, minutes from local shops, pizzeria, and of course easy public parking and transportation (bus stop is 40 feet from the house). Walking and biking is all you need. Manhattan (Times Square) is about an hour away in the subway and downtown brooklyn is about 30 minutes away. Close to Staten Island and New Jersey.

The highway is seconds away. 86st is a few minutes walking distance with tons of shopping/retail stores and restaurants. We do offer Laundry Service only for guests staying minimum 3 days. Extra Charge will be applied. Please NO Pets Allowed! Please NO Smoking! (Smoking Fee up to $150 will be charged)

Jun 27, 2019Sam's house was comfortable, clean, and in an excellent location. Parking was tough to find, so use public transit if possible. Small issues with TV and issue in the bathroom were handled very quickly, his communication was excellent. Home is a two family house, so upstairs door doesn't have it's own lock, only downstairs one. Wasn't an issue, but wasn't clear in the listing. Overall, good experience and would stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Cozy spot. We spent a lot of time inside due to weather and having a new baby and the home was very comfortable to be in. The neighborhood is safe, sound of church bells was a lovely morning greeting, hosts were very hospitable.

Jun 27, 2019Sam's place was even better than advertised. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for my friends and I. The area was great as well. There is a supermarket nearby and a clutch pizzeria (Maria's) in walking distance. There are a couple of lively bars nearby that we visited as well. Sam was a great host and did not have an issue meeting us at the place despite us being an hour behind due to traffic issues.

Jun 27, 2019The house was very nice. Good amenities. Sam was easily accessible and made sure our stay was easy and convenience. More than enough room for our group of 5. Quiet neighborhood, stores and local restaurants were easily accessible by foot.

Jun 27, 2019Sam was an attentive and accommodating host. I would definitely stay with him again and recommend his flat to others staying in Bay Ridge. The location is very quiet and convenient to shops, movies, parks, and MTA - ideal for a family visit. The decor is a great mix of old world Brooklyn and contemporary convenience. This is a small detail, but the flat had tea! I’m a tea drinker and it’s rare that hosts offer both coffee and tea options.
Jun 27, 2019Great space. Very large, entire top floor of brownstone. Three real bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Eat in kitchen, large dining room and living room. It is a great space for two couples or large family to share. Also, right across the street from a large park and church. Parking is easy compared to rest of area because of park and church. Sam is great. Was accommodating and did exactly what he said he would. We plan on staying there again when we return to Brooklyn.

Jun 27, 2019VERY spacious and comfortable home! Lots and lots of room to spread out -- three bedrooms and tons of closet space. Full kitchen with high-top table and 4 stools PLUS a full size family dining room! Amazingly ample and super comfy couches and recliner. Truly like staying in a family home -- no "studio apt" here! :) Historic brownstone details that have been beautifully preserved. Amazing woodwork that you just don't see in modern construction -- millwork, parquet flooring, gorgeous doors/hardware. Bountiful towels/linens as well as all you need in the kitchen and bath. Amazing natural light in the house as well as a HUGE gorgeous architectural skylight in the bathroom means the light switch never needs to be flipped during the day! :) The hosts were always available and super sweet. The apartment is in a family oriented, very safe area just blocks from shopping and restaurants. Felt safe walking at all times of day/night. You'll have plenty of room to spread out whether it's just one person staying there or a whole family!

Jun 27, 2019Sam and Amani were great hosts. We were in town for a Baptism and the location could not have been more perfect as it was steps away from the church and 2 blocks from the restaurant. The place is very spacious and very clean. Free Wifi and they had a Roku player so we could log into our Netflix account. My kids were very comfortable and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Brooklyn.
Jun 27, 2019This is a great apartment in an older building in an interesting neighborhood. There were six of us, from age 6 to 69, and it was a perfect place for us. Sam was very attentive and helpful, and even saved us a parking place when we got there! He provided an extra sleeping pad so our little guy could sleep near his parents. The place was clean, and there were extras such as coffee in the kitchen. All in all, we were very happy!

Jun 27, 2019Expect a pleasant stay in a spacious airy space . The location is accessible to public transportation that is in a lovely part of Brooklyn . Sam is a great host who responds immediately to any concerns that you may have. I honestly felt like I was staying at a relatives house that’s how comfortable it was!!
Jun 27, 2019For NYC, the space is HUGE. It's an old building so does have some "character" but it is lovely. Little details were nice like a sky light in the bathroom. Super comfy living and dining area, and the layout of the place is nice.I also like that part of Brooklyn because it's central to a lot of different areas of it. Also, Sam was very friendly and accommodating as well.
Jun 27, 2019It's a great place to stay esp. with a group of friends or family. Just make sure you communicate with the host about the house rules and late check in / out. It'll save alot of confusion and hassle.
Jun 27, 2019Sam was there to greet us and answered all our questions. We contacted him a couple of times for recommendations and he got right back to us. The place itself was extremely clean and in a lovely neighborhood. It was well kept and updated, but kept the beautiful architectural features. Parking was always available which is a real plus in Brooklyn. We have family in Brooklyn and will definitely stay again when we have a family get-together.

Jun 27, 2019great place to stay. it worked well for us, and there were 5 of us. lots of space. good pressure in the shower which was great thing after a day of sightseeing. close to where we needed to be. it is located close to 2 subway stations ( about 15-20 mins away).
Jun 27, 2019Nous sommes restés chez Sam une semaine avec une famille de 5 adultes. Le logement est spacieux et très propre, conforme à la description du site. N'ayant pas de vehicule nous avons utilisé les transports en commun: comptez au minimum une heure pour vous rendre à Manhattan mais les trajets se font très facilement.

Jun 27, 2019Sam is a super host for a reason - he goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. He holds your spot in the rain for 15 minutes while you circle the block. He carries your luggage upstairs. He answers texts and phone calls right away. And his place is very budget-friendly and clean. We would definitely stay here again!
