Marcs place is the perfect get away. The house is clean and tidy. So close to the beach you can hear the ocean, you can travel easily to Hong Kong central by ferry. Great hospitality, Isabella was so kind for us and Marc as well.
Jun 27, 2019A fantastic place to say a hidden gem on Lantau island. Felt like we had the beach all to ourselves most of the time, the beach was literally a few feet away. The place was perfect as well were able to do our own cooking and there and had a nice amount of space and the rooftop and balcony were a lovely ouch. Marc was easy to get in contact with and I would definitely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect get-away spot from hustle and bustle of hk island. Lovely beach at Cheung Sha, views of which can be enjoyed from balcony and rooftop terrace. Very quiet village so wouldn't recommend Marc's place to first time visitors of HK (may take 90mins to central with bus/ferry, for instance). But if you're looking for a place to relax, read a book, or get some work done quietly, this place is great. Pictures are accurate.
Jun 27, 2019This is a very quiet place to stay and rest for a few days in a small country village setting, we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and also the restaurants and mini-store nearby, we enjoyed the view from the rooftop and all the surrounding nature.
Jun 27, 2019Great space, quote get away from HK metropolis. Lovely rooftop. Great directions to find location and can be a little tricky without the pics provided. Nothing to complain about apart from a slightly strange message from Marc’s colleague/caretaker/key holder Ysabelle making a strange accusation about me lying for not answering the door because I was not dressed and jumped out of bed - very strange? Would have been a shock if I did open the door All in all, a great stay and I would Most definitely recommend.
Jun 27, 2019Marc's apartment is literally a few minutes walk from the sea, and just a short walk from the super chilled out beach restaurants. A perfect break from the city, Thanks Marc and Ysabelle for a lovely stay, we will certainly be back!
Jun 27, 2019I can't even describe how much we loved the place! We booked it last minute but communication was smooth. We weren't expecting a lot but we were pleasantly surprised by the home itself and the location in general. The best part of it is that Marc's place is nestled right in between a beach and a local village with a very peaceful and friendly environment. The house itself is clean and lovely...for the most part, it felt like home. We had a wonderful time exploring the neighborhood and drinking beer by the beach late at night. Definitely recommended for people who wants to step away from the hustle and bustle of typical Hong Kong!

Jun 27, 2019Great little flat 20 steps away from the beach and the beach bistros. Fantastic location, I highly recommend Les Jardins de Sophie next door, a French owned and managed bistro serving great food at reasonable prices.
Jun 27, 2019Really well located: close enough to the beach, bars and restaurants that you can stroll there in a couple of minutes but far enough away that you can’t hear them. Well equipped kitchen and pleasantly decorated. The weather was too poor for us to enjoy the rooftop but it looked lovely.
Jun 27, 2019Marc’s apartment is like an advertisement for living in South Lantau! The location is incredible- just steps away from the beach and an array of lovely beach restaurants and bars. Access to beautiful hiking trails is easy via bus and taxi. The flat itself is cute and super-clean, the rooftop was an added bonus for a glass of wine at the end of the day for sunset. Marc was incredibly easy to communicate with and check-in/check-out was completely hassle-free. Marc’s place would be ideal for Hong Kongers living in the city (like us) for a staycation or for people who are staying in Hong King for a couple of weeks to see the other (and best in my opinion) side of Hong Kong. Thanks for a great stay Marc, we’ll hopefully be back soon!

Smooth and quick self check in and in the apartment is everything you need for a get away trip from the busy cityscape. A few steps away to the beach and evening at the open terrace is simply beautiful. We'll be back.
Jun 27, 2019A comfortable one bedroom apartment with a brilliant roof top - for eating, sun bathing and watching the sunset. The place is small but has everything you need. Very close to a convenience store and several eateries to choose from including a French cafe. Easy walk paths to the bus stop with buses to the sitting Buddha, Tai O, Pui O and Mui Wu. From Mui Wu ferries to Hong Kong city (20min bus, 30-50min Ferry ride - some ferries are fast ferries, and to outlying islands like Cheng Chau. The village is surrounded by bush land with walking paths everywhere, a swimmable beach and if you like exploring waterfall pools. Old buildings and the occasional shrine with incense helps imagine what this place was like a long time ago - this place exceeded our expectations.
Jun 27, 2019I had a very pleasant stay at Marc's place, the apartment is gorgeous, really easy to access from the Cheung Sha Ha Tsuen bus station, and is literally 200 ft from the beach! All the people in Cheung Sha beach were super friendly and welcoming, there are a few shops and restaurants around and it's a perfect getaway from the intensity of downtown Hong Kong. Highly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Marc's place is just perfectly located at 50m of the beach. The roofterrace is lovely and the small village of Lower Cheung Sa is a will preserved paradise with very friendly people and a laidback atmosphere.

They went to great lengths to keep the place clean, and to make sure your stay is comfy. Please help to keep this place pristine too, cuz we will revisit and revisit...

Jun 27, 2019I had a lovely stay at Marc's place! The location is AWESOME -- Cheung Sha has a few really good restaurants, a small store, and great beaches. The place itself is cozy and had everything I needed. It was the perfect, relaxing way to end my rather busy vacation. The place is hard to find from the road (for example, if you're coming by the #11 bus), so ask Marc for some directions -- it's through an unmarked path and it took a decent amount of exploring before I was on the right track.

Jun 27, 2019Well-appointed first-floor apartment with a great roof terrace. Convenient for buses to Mui Wo and Tung Chung, plus there are three good restaurants on the doorstep and a grocer's shop. And, of course, the excellent Cheung Sha beach is only meters away. Marc is an attentive host via (Hidden by Airbnb) . We'll be back!
