This is a residential neighborhood. Many cafes, supermarkets and traditional comerce. Estadio do dragão (Portos soccer team stadium) is close. The cock from the neighbours can still be heard as this is a residential area and some older residents still have chickens on the backyard:)

If you have a car it’s a good location to stay as you have free parking on the street. To go to the city center you have the metro station in an easy 10min walk. The ride will take you there in just a few minutes. You have a bus station just outside the house too. If you need a transfer from the airport let us know and we'll help you to book a trustable one.
