Waterloo is a suburb on the fringe of Sydney City. it boarders Surry Hills, Redfern, Moore Park, Alexandria, Zetland and Rosebery. It is a mixture of luxury apartments, large terrace houses, light industrial and council housing. The housing is as eclectic as the people. It has a well know cafe strip Dank Street which has many lovely galleries, cafes, restaurants and bars.

Arriving from the airport. It is similar if not cheaper to catch a taxi than the train for 2 people. It will be around $25-$30. Buses and trains require an Opal card available from newsagents etc. Best to look up on the internet. There is a bus 50m away on Elizabeth Street (route 343) that takes you into the city. This bus route stretches from Chatswood to Eastgardens. Redfern train station is a 10min 1km walk away. Central Railway station is a 15min 1.5km walk away. There is NO onsite parking but the streets around the property are a mixture of timed and untimed parking. There is often parking available.

The studio is entered through the garage door. The garage is used by Kristin the owner of the main house so there is no parking available on the property. As the studio is above the garage there will be some noise in the room upstairs when the garage door is opened. You may cross paths with Kristin while accessing the studio and the bathroom which is located downstairs behind the parking space.
