Le Bed & Cocktail is a hostel for travellers who want to discover Montreal like the locals, with the locals. From sound-proof ventilated pods to heated floors, we’ve created an intuitive space where guests can expect a good night’s sleep and where they can feel comfortable kicking off their shoes and hanging out during the day. Nesting above La Distillerie No.2, one of our 3 cocktail pubs in the city, Le Bed & Cocktail is located in a vibrant and trendy neighbourhood, the Plateau Mont-Royal.

We have twelve pods located in two rooms (one with 4 pods & one with 8 pods). Each pod has a night light, integrated ventilation, a curtain that allows you to close off your pod space completely, and storage for your luggage (lock not included). The pod is yours, the rest of the space is shared with other travellers and staff. The shared space is an entirely renovated apartment with a communal kitchen, a lounge with board games, LEGOs and musical instruments, a computer and printer, 3 bathrooms, 3 showers, heated floors and a patio in the back. Here's a nice opportunity to live together with new friends visiting Montreal!

The Plateau Mont-Royal is a residential neighborhood filled with quaint cafés, bars, restaurants and specialty boutiques of every type; everything you need is a short walk away.

If you're a light sleeper, this isn't the ideal place for you! We're located above a bar that closes at 3:00 a.m. Although we've insulated the walls and pods, noise could be bothersome.

With 2 bus lines passing in front of the hostel and Mont-Royal metro station about a 12-minute walk away, it’s easy to get around town. You can also rent a bicycle to explore the city on 2 wheels! There are 4 BIXI stations less than 2 blocks from Le Bed & Cocktail.

Guests can access the hostel 24 hours a day with a code. You'll also have access to WIFI, items for breakfast and snacks, and longboards. Furthermore, La Distillerie No.2, located on the ground floor, is open 7 days a week from 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Inside the bar, we have a Snack Bar to satisfy your food cravings.
