Notes
The kitchen larder and fridge is stocked with a selection of delicious breakfast items including fresh baked crusty bread, cereal, muesli, fruit juice & yoghurt. There is espresso and plunger coffee and a selection of Twinings teas. And the bottle wine is with our compliments.
Transit
Watsons Bay is easily accessible by public transport as well as car. Frequent ferries run to the Sydney CBD, Manly, Milson's Point, Balmain and Barangaroo. It is also serviced by several regular bus routes.
Access
The pool and garden are for your private use during your stay. Use of the pool is restricted to 10pm. Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum. After a swim or a day on the beach please use the outdoor shower (hot & cold) at the top of the stairs.

Absolutely beautiful house, just a stones throw to camp cove. Our host was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed, even breakfast in the morning. We will definitely stay again when in Sydney next. This listing is perfect, a must stay, ticks every box, it is beyond 5stars and it doesn't get much better than this Cheers

The neighborhood is wonderful and provides a nice break from the bustle of Sydney, yet is easily accessible to all the great spots by ferry. The apartment is beautifully appointed and affords plenty of privacy. The breakfast and wine provided were delicious. Neil and Jane were exceptionally responsive and helpful prior to, and throughout, our stay. We truly enjoyed meeting them and can't wait to return! Highly recommend staying here!
Jun 27, 2019Neil sure knows how to host, this place is just what you require if you are going stay in Sydney, communication was easy and the self contained apartment was more than we hoped for. Modern fresh super clean and all the small things catered for like Robes beautiful hand wash, shower gel , fruit , muesli, wine etc etc. Camp cove is only a short 2 minute walk and with a bottle of wine in one hand and a glass in the other you get to watch a sunset in a place like no other, All in all one of the best places we have stayed while experiencing Airbnb .

Jun 27, 2019Watsons Bay and Camp Cove are one of our favourite places in Sydney but to have a stylist accommodation with a wonderful host made our stay so enjoyable. Neil the accommodation was so cosy on a wet winter day but the complimentary bottle of red looking into the red hot stones of the gas fire next to the person you love was perfect. We can not fault this ABNB and we will be back with our swimmers to enjoy the pool and beautiful Camp Cove beach.

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I stayed in this beautiful space as our friends were getting married near by at the Watson’s Bay Hotel. This was a prefect location as it was only a short walk (3-5 min) to the wedding venue yet far enough away that we felt like we had a bit of space from the hustle and bustle of the weekend. Neil was excellent in communicating and answering any questions we had leading up to our arrival and checkin. We didn’t really need much attention while there, but he was quick to reply when we did. What really made this space special was not only the beautiful decor (so clean and relaxing), but really the extra amenities provided were absolutely amazing. From the wonderfully yummy breakfast items, the bottle of wine, the soft bathrobes, the comfortable pillows & bed, the lovely bathroom amenities (which we liked so much that we went out and purchased some for own home!), the beautifully scented living room candle, I could go on and on. If you are thinking of staying here, I wouldn’t think any further! It was a perfect oasis nestled into a lovely quiet neighbourhood. If there was a love button, I’d click it! Thanks for the exceptional stay guys!

Jun 27, 2019Wonderful space in a great location. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Every light welcomed us when we arrived near midnight after an unpleasant flight and roadworks near the airport and it felt like we had found a quiet oasis after a hectic trip. The supplied croissants, bread, wine, fruit, milk (and other things I have forgotten) were all great and helped us survive our early morning business meeting. If you are coming to Watson's Bay, this place should definitely be on top of your list. We loved the village feel of the place, even though it is on the edge of Sydney and hosts a fairly major tourist attraction (The Gap). We are more than happy to recommend it. Highlights: 1. The food 2. The garden outlook and sense of privacy 3. The welcome provided to us by Neil, the host 4. Proximity to spectacular locations and lovely walks Problems: The only thing that we could call a problem was that the Wifi kept dropping out BUT Neil specifically came to tell us about the problem and apologise and to tell us that a technician was coming out the next day to fix it. In other words, whilst the loss of Wifi was a little inconvenient, we cannot fault the response.

Everything you would need is supplied and it is a magical location with gorgeous homes along the way when you walk from the ferry and water front. The most lovely small beach on Camp Cove is also just around the corner. This place is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city and you just need to jump on the ferry a short walk to reach many of the destinations on offer in Sydney. Thank you again to both Jane and Neil we appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail and the privacy you provided with the feeling that you were both very approachable if we needed anything.

Neil and his wife Jane are great hosts, they have the best wine and the best bread and are very friendly, helpful, respectful and interesting conversation partners. I would highly recommend their place. It is very comfortable, has everything you need and close to fabulous restaurants and public transport. I had the most magical stay. Treat yourself!
Jun 27, 2019We came for a staycation away from Sydney, and it was everything we wanted and more. Staying here at Neil's place went far beyond our expectations. The actual place is impeccably and luxuriously designed. It feels incredibly spacious, yet grounded and cozy. The linens, couch, and king mattress were excellent quality for deep restoration. We ended up planning our trip during an uncharacteristically dreary and rainy week in October, and Neil did everything he could to accomodate us on our beach holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed warming up near the fireplace, and delighted in some sleep ins knowing Neil had already generously taken care of breakfast- a full fruit basket, loaf of bread, yoghurts, croissants, assortment of jams, butter, nut butter, eggs, three kinds of cereal, milk and honey. We mentioned before heading out one evening we were going to get some take away and bring it back, and when we came back Neil had a couple of beers waiting for us packed in ice out in the lush backyard that we had to enjoy in privacy the entire stay. Neil struck the perfect balance between being available when we needed, and giving us lots of privacy. The home is on a very quiet street, quality/luxury neighbourhood. It is located a short walking distance from the major Watson's Bay sites, and there are plenty of even quieter and accessible coastal bush walks.

Neil is an excellent host who went out of his way to be helpful and welcoming, even giving us a lift back from the supermarket when it was raining! A beautiful place right near the beach. Very quiet and relaxing yet an easy ferry or bus ride into the city. We could not fault it and cannot recommend highly enough.

The property is located within 5 mins walk to the Watsons Bay wharf which makes it easily accessible to the Sydney ferries while being in quiet Watsons Bay. The property is also a minutes walk to camp cove which is a beautiful small beach. There are many additional local walks as well. The property is beautifully decorated and private. There are so many thoughtful touches and everything you could possibly need is there. The property is also stocked with delicious breakfast items. Neil provided a lot of useful local information and is extremely friendly. Overall an outstanding stay and we would definitely return.

The accommodation itself was excellent, well thought out with good touches from breakfast and toiletries to the layout of the apartment. Would most definitely recommend and only wish I could have stayed longer.

Jun 27, 2019Amazing location steps away from a beautiful sandy beach. Brightly lit living space with a large comfortable bed. TV Chanel selection was great, I was able to watch the NFL games and they had Netflix. Neil was great answering questions and pointed us out to some amazing restaurants within walking distance.
Jun 27, 2019This was by far the best Airbnb Experience we have ever had! Neil and Jane's place is a DREAM, the accommodations, the beach, the restaurants nearby, the ferry, the cliff walks! We literally kept pinching ourselves because we couldn't believe we were living (and could afford) such a luxury vacation in a luxury paradise! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this rental. It is absolutely a decision you will not regret, we loved the place so much, that we never even got out and explored the city. We truly just thought that it couldn't be better then exactly where we were. An absolutely perfect relaxing and splendid holiday. Many thanks to you, Neil and Jane!

Jun 27, 2019From the outset this was a hugely positive experience. Very quick responses and Neil and Jane kindly allowed us to drop our luggage before we were due to check in. The apartment is really gorgeous and brilliantly located a two minute walk from the lovely camp cove beach. There were many thoughtful and generous touches from lovely soaps to loads of food, wine and even a bottle of sparkly on New Years Eve! Neil and Jane could give lessons in being fabulous hosts. The beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh and beautiful, great pillows and the bathroom/shower was great. The apartment even has a pool and barbecue. I really couldn't recommend this property enough for a couple or three people - I was with my two adult daughters and we had plenty of room etc The final kindness was when we were leaving when Neil drove us to the ferry with our luggage! 5 Stars all round!

Camp Cove is a fantastic, well equipped and quiet apartment. Great design aesthetic; devoured books on hand. Neil is a wonderful host: gracious, helpful. Unit is fully appointed with all you need to enjoy a long stay in beautiful Watsons Bay. Jun 27, 2019Neil’s place in Watson’s Bay, is the perfect location for a get away in Sydney. He is easy to communicate with and very accommodating, providing beautiful fresh produce for our stay. The house is beautifully furnished, it feels like you are in your own little tropical oasis and then as soon as you step out the front door you are a minute away from the lovely camp cove beach and a couple of minutes walk to Watson’s Bay hotel and the famous Doyle’s restaurant. There are also so many lovely walking tracks along the foreshore that provide you with spectacular views of the city. My husband and I had a fabulous time and would highly recommend Neil’s place!

Jun 27, 2019Very happy with my stay. Neil was great with taking any worry out of the visit. The place itself was a tropical getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet very accessible. It was a joy to take the ferry’s everywhere around Sydney (and much more affordable than Uber or taxi). I took at least 10 boat rides in 48 hours which added to the adventure. Download the app as suggested to find all the pick up times. Watson’s bay is a cool little beach town with one hotel. Loved the tropical back yard and swimming pool. Also all the breakfast foods and coffee Neil arranged were great. Thanks again!
