Neighborhood Overview
Very quiet and peaceful. Great outlook to the bush, waterfall in backyard, nice to sit outside at the BBQ table and listen to the water running, lots of birds around as well If you like bush walking a great area for it. Close to Kuringai National Park, Bobbin Head, Berowra Waters and Brooklyn on The Hawkesbury. Central coast , 30 to 40 min drive.

Kitchen fully Equiped, underbench oven ,dishwasher,and microwave Tea ,coffee and sugar provided. Detergents for kitchen and Laundry, laundry with long stays is shared please be aware of this . Basics supplied in bathroom , shower wash, shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap on vanity.
Transit
Trains 15 min walk. Bus at top of street. Hornsby Westfield 10 min drive Asquith Golf Club 5 mins Alds supermarkret nearby at Mt Kuringai , 15 minute walk, 3 min drive. You can get around to most places by public transport but a car would make it a lot easier.
Access
Access to all downstairs area and enclosed backyard, no starirs to access. Laundry facilities are shared , long stays , must be aware of this.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Lucy and Ralph's for a couple if nights with our 2 teenage boys. The unit was fresh and clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Beautiful garden bush setting and all the amenities were wonderful. Lucy and Ralph were warm and friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you
Jun 27, 2019I am reticent to write a good review as I would love to keep this place a secret. But so deserving of praise - Lucy and Ralph have got this SO right. Terrific spacious and well equipped. Private bush setting, modern awesome kitchen. A true home away from home. Have already booked a return trip. So nice to be out of the rat race and relax in a peaceful leafy cul de sac location. Bravo Lucy and Ralph! 10/10.
Jun 27, 2019My second time here now and a LOT more to come. The peace and quiet is excellent as are the amenities and accommodation. Awesome hosts who leave you in peace but are all but a holler away. My preferred stop for time to come. Very spacious, modern, clean and well equipped.

Jun 27, 2019This wonderful hideaway in Mount Colah is the perfect place for a work trip with family! A true home away from home. Plenty of living area options so that everyone can find their own space. Great kitchen facilities and dining area to feed the whole family. Teenage children and young children are all well catered for with a wonderful secure private outdoor space - all safety concerns taken care of! Local shops, takeaway, wonderful sports grounds, playgrounds and beautiful bush walks just a minute’s drive away. Close to major shopping centres and public transport. An easy commute to the city yet you can wake up in the tree tops with bird song!!! Lucy has thought of everything to make your stay a pleasure. We will be back for sure.

Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is clean, modern, open and delightful. Great kitchen, dining area and yard. Hosts – Lucy and Ralph – helpful, friendly, welcoming but also unobtrusive. Pleasant 15 minute walk to train station. Would definitely try to stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Wonderful clean and beautifully decorated place, well equipped kitchen and plentiful linen. access to backyard with native birds, laundry and washing line. great place for the family to come and spend time in a quiet par of the city. close to a bus stop if you dont want to walk 20min to the station. had trouble getting an uber XL or maxi cab to leave though. we will pason the details of the private maxi cab to Lucy so others can use.

Jun 27, 2019You can expect a modern comfortable apartment under the hosts home. The apartment is in a quiet street in leafy Mt Colah. Well supplied with linen, utensils and cutlery. The hosts are always available but are happy to leave guests alone if that’s your preference.

Jun 27, 2019What lovely home. It really felt like a home, instead of a hotel. So many lovely decorator touches, plus books and magazines. Beds and lounges were very comfy. Beautiful outlook with lovely trees and very quiet. Close to national parks and a short drive to shops.

So much thought went into making it a lovely time to spend our holiday at.Spotlessly clean,everything you might possibly need is at youre fingertips. Lucy and Ralph are down to earth friendly people and very approachable. There is wifi& (Website hidden by Airbnb) abundance of extra Manchester. Aircon. Anything you need is definitely there. A lovely kitchen with excellent cooking facilities.

Their property is nestled in a beautiful leafy suburb that creates a very relaxing vibe for a holiday, the train station was nice and close which made for an easy commute into the city. The space is huge for a 2 bedroom and our family of five comfortably fitted, and the laundry facilities were great for catching up on all our children's washing. We really enjoyed our stay.

And Lucy and her husband are very nice and considerate, they went extra miles to make us feel at home and comfortable. I recommend her place for future airbnbers.
Jun 27, 2019This unit was private, modern, comfortable and welcoming. More than big enough for our family of four. Lucy and Ralph are so lovely, there was plenty of tea bags, oil, salt and pepper etc, plus toiletries for those who forget or don’t have what they need.
