This is a clutter-free, beautifully renovated 2 bedroom apartment with its own private entrance and yard. It's also an inviting home with lots of natural light; everyone who stayed here has loved it. Most guest love that it's quiet, clean, convenient, and best of all family friendly. Because we are family oriented, we cannot allow guest to throw parties or smoke in the home. We like our guest to enjoy their time however, partying or smoking guests will be asked to leave without refund. This location has a Walk Score of 89 out of 100 which makes it a very walkable and desirable area. Most errands can be accomplished on foot and the building is only a two-minute walk from the 2 train 7 Avenue Express or the 5 train Lexington Avenue Express. In addition, this location is in the Williamsbridge neighborhood in New York which is one of our most walkable neighborhoods with a neighborhood Walk Score of 87. Close to everything from restaurants, parks, gyms and much more.
Notes
If you love to bowling, the bowling lanes are only a short 10-minute walk away from the home at 1215 East Gun Hill Road Bronx NY 10469. Take a free tour of the Bronx ZOO on Wednesdays. The zoo is approximately 10 minutes from the home. If you need a car to get around, there is a car rental agency 15 mins away or you may use the car service described below. Lastly, If you need airport transportation to and from the home we can arrange a pick up for a small fee. Also, we are able to arrange a reliable Chauffer in a Luxury vehicle to show you around the city if you like to experience New York City up and personal.
Transit
The 2 or 5 trains and plenty of buses for easy access to public transportation. About 30 min from JFK, 17 min from Laguardia airport, and roughly 35 min to Manhattan. A personal driver is available to show you around and get you to any destination desired. Go out, enjoy the city nightlife and drink all you like without worry; your personal driver will make sure you get back safely. Message us for more details on this service.

The place is wonderful and really close to the metro station, comfortable beds, a clean environment and a beautiful kitchen with everything we need. ONE OF THE BEST AIRBNB EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Jun 27, 2019First I want to thank Mr. Andy to go out of his way to help me check in at 1pm thank you very much for that. Mr. Andy have to be upfront with his description about the place, first the place is a basement where the hot water foundation went trough, make the room hotter then the rest of the place, you have no control over the heat or AC. He set the temperature 78 first night, when I tell him about it he told me to open the door.then ignored me if that would change tomorrow, I have to message him trough Airbnb to get a respond from him next day I had no sleep that night, he tell me he will set it to 65 for the rest of my stay, but only let it for two days change it to 76, I only had two days of sleep. The stairs is very slippery I fall in front of him mess up my pants, had a cut in my elbow he didn't even asked me if I was okay. Then tell me he didn't hear or saw anything after he made eyes contact with me. He ignored some of my message I had to send the same massage trough Airbnb to get a reply from him. I think the host need to be honest about they place just like they have they rules for the house. I definitely have a bad taste in my mouth staying at his place. Clean house is not everything when its come to hosting a place.

Jun 27, 2019Andy's place is excellent. It is a well appointed newly remodeled basement apartment. It is clean. The kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils. The beds are comfortable and the place is quite. On street parking is easy to find. It is a 5 minute walk to a subway (above ground at this point), and 10 minutes to the Metro North Train stop, which takes you to Grand Central Station and destinations north. Andy met me, and was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend his apartment.

Jun 27, 2019This was our first Airbnb experience and it was excellent! There was ample parking nearby. The apartment was easy to find, and was spotless! Andy replaced the iron when we asked about one, and he was always super responsive. We appreciated the nice touches throughout the space (makeup removal wipes came in very handy!) The subway was a short 10 min walk away and gave us easy access to other parts of NYC area, and well as easy access to upstate. Very satisfied with very part of our stay!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay was great! The place is very clean, the description is accurate (fit 4 adults comfortably) and Andy was SUPER quick to answer any of our questions and needs. The place was very well equipped and had many extra touches for us. The check-in was very easy, the location is perfect to travel around by public transit or by car. I will definitely consider this place for future trips and most certainly recommend it for others!

Jun 27, 2019Great space, we felt safe and the space was very quiet. On street parking was great and accessible. The suite is clean, newly renovated, and well equipped for a trip to the city. We stayed there because of the location for Fordham University and NYBG. Quick Uber pickups and easy to get to great restaurants and quick grocery shopping. Local bakery a block or so away was an extra treat, as was the ease of access to the subway.

Jun 27, 2019I requested this unbelievable suite for my niece and her newlywed husband. The host Andi was quick to reply to any questions and adjustments I may have had during the stay and after. He went above and beyond to make sure the couple spent their first night together as a couple, asking what he can to do make it a memorable stay even offering to buy them a bottle of wine. After they checked out and before writing a review I texted my niece to get info of their stay, and here is her response: Hi auntie yeah I called to let you know how it was but I figured you were working. Everything was great. The apartment was spacious, very clean and well furnished. The two bedrooms were well decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. 5 stars for sure. I will definitely book this suite again in the future and would recommend anybody, friends or family. Thank you Andy for making this trip memorable for my niece and her husband. Cheers!!!

We loved the area as it had a homely feel to it and was far enough from the craziness of Manhattan, that you could relax after day trips in town. Lots of local shops to get nice baked goods and Jamaican food. Near the subway and the metro north. Would stay again!

My family and I loved and enjoyed our stay there. It was impeccably clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We felt right at home! Andy was so quick to respond to any questions I had, and was even flexible with us when we asked for an extra 30 minutes for our checkout time. Every dime spent on this air bnb stay was completely worth it!

The walk to the train was fairly quick and there was food around the corner. Inside the apartment was incredibly clean and neat. Everything that you could need was available! I would highly suggest staying here for anyone wanting to get the full NY experience.
