Plumer Road shops is a 2 minute walk with a fantastic french bakery, 2 cafes, butcher, small grocery store, take-away pizza and take away chicken and salads, bottle shop, newsagency and dry cleaner Rose bay shops is a little further up the road and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and retail stores. It is an easy and beautiful tree lined twenty minute walk to Bondi Beach. Rose Bay has a beautiful dog friendly harbour beach. Shawn is a great host, he did everything to make our stay confortable and gave us some really nice places to go visit. The room is very cosy and just 5 minutes from the ferry wharf to get you to the city center. We had a lovely stay there and would definitely go back :)
Jun 27, 2019Shaun's apartment is in a nice neighbourhood. Rose Bay is quiet, beautiful and great located area. You can find bus and ferry direct to the center. Shops and cafes are very near. Although, the most important thing about that place is the owner. It was a pleasure to get to know Shaun. He is very kind and helpful person. Thankful to his tips, it was easy to go around Sydney.

Jun 27, 2019Nice place, very close to Rose Bay (5 mins walk) where you can easily hop on the ferries. You can find some small shops nearby for almost everything you need. Also, Shaun's hospitality was the best and he was more than willing to help and explain how to get around the city!
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was extremely clean throughout the visit. It is sunny and spacious. Bathroom and kitchen was in perfect condition. The bed was comfortable and the location of the apartment was close to the bus stop and the Ferry. The communication was great and the check-in was hassle-free. Shaun was very welcoming and we felt at home during our stay. All in all we loved our stay with Shaun and highly recommend the apartment.
Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Shaun's place. The area is great, with a beach, buses and stores/restaurant nearby. The bed was very confortable and the kitchen well equiped. Shaun was a very nice host, the quality/price ratio is really good, I recommend the place!

Jun 27, 2019First time to Sydney and Shaun's place was key to my amazing experience. Relaxing room, close to transit and tasty food, and walking distance to Bondi made for a perfect base for exploring Sydney. I definitely recommend staying here!
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoy our stay in Shaun's flat. Shaun is a real nice host, very helpfull. We had interessant discussions. The flat is located in a nice area, 10 minutes from the town center by ferry. We recommand his Airbnb !
Jun 27, 2019Hey, for me -perfect- close to ferry to city ( walkable) if you stay late in the city ferry close at 9pm. I don’t cook means I don’t know about kitchen, Room is small but enough to sleep the nite and go, place is great value for me.
Jun 27, 2019Good place to be. Close to the bus stop and ferry but not train. If u plan to travel and get back late at night u probably wont be able to find the bus and ferry as well. The bed is great and very comfy. The apartment is quite and clean. The bathroom is abit old and has be kept clean. The overall is great. Shaun is a nice guy!!
Jun 27, 2019Shaun is a very kind and helpful person. He is also very flexible in terms of check-in and check-out time if no one is coming to the room that day. The place in located just nearby Rose Bay Wharf and a ferry would take you to the central (near Harbour Bridge/Opera House) in 12 minutes. It was a good stay at Shaun's place. :-)
Jun 27, 2019시드니 시티와 이곳은 페리로 최단거리로 갈수있고 페리타고 시티까지 가는 경치는 너무 아름답다 그리고 버스 정류장도 가까이있어 움직이기가 너무 편했다 무엇보다도 shaun의 친절함은 엄청났다 떠나는날 집에다가 선글라스를 놓고왔는대 나한테 먼저 알려줘서 금방 찾을수있었다 다음 시드니 여행때에도 shaun과 함께 하고싶다~^^ 집안에 식기 조미료 다있어요~ 편안한 공간입니다!!!

Jun 27, 2019Location of Shaun's place was amazing. I just had to walk a couple blocks away, catch the ferry, and go anywhere I liked. He recommended some good places to go and I love them all. Loved having the kitchen and all the necessary appliances needed to cook for myself, lovely cute place!
Jun 27, 2019shuan's place is close to rose bay, 10minutes from sydney opera. it's my 1st time in sydney and his place is much recommended if you want to see opera house and bondi beach. close also to train station about 10 minutes from rose bay via ferry. shaun's is quick to response in all y inquiries. easy to communicate with.
Jun 27, 2019Rose bay is beautiful, the buses are 4 minutes walk and the 7 minutes. The entrance to your bedroom is through Shaun’s bedroom, though I did not find that a problem
Jun 27, 2019I'm glad I didn't let my perceived awkwardness of having to walk through the bedroom to get to the guest room get in the way of choosing this property. I did nearly all my SYD travel via ferry and it was fast and convenient. Also a half hour walk to Bondi Beach and the cliff walk. I felt welcome and the bath products are great. :)
Jun 27, 2019Shaun was very welcoming and also very respectful of our space during the stay. He was always ready to help when we needed something. We totally recommend to stay at his house. Rose Bay is a lovely place and is only one stop from Circular Quay if you take the ferry which is pretty near Shaun’s house.
Jun 27, 2019Probably the most comfortable bed I slept in on my whole trip through Australia! Shaun was quick to answer any questions I had. He has a great kitchen to cook in and the location of the house is close to both the bus and ferry. It was a very quiet, relaxing stay. Cheers!

Jun 27, 2019Shaun is an amazing host! He pretty much makes me feel like in a home. I can wander around and use many facilities in the house. Also Shaun responded text or in person very quick and kind. The room is big and clean. but the whole house's too cold to me. One thing I'd like to suggest to Shaun is that "the hot water only running 8 mins" should be info on the house profile, so people can consider if this condition fits them.

Jun 27, 2019房間位置有點尷尬,是跟屋主的房間連在一起(就是要進去房間時會先經過屋主的房間的意思),有隔著門但沒有鎖｡浴室也沒有鎖(很怕用到一半有人突然進來)｡會介意的人可能要考慮一下 在浴室看到不少小蟑螂 房間空間很小(除了床剩下一條小走道,大概跟床一樣長,跟枕頭的長一樣寬),無法打開2個人的行李箱,不太方便,當時我們是把一個人的行李箱放在外面,要拿東西的時候打開,拿完再關起來｡ 洗澡的時候熱水大概7分鐘就會沒有,當時洗完頭髮還沒洗澡就沒熱水 離市區有一段距離,但交通還算方便,出去走5分鐘就有通往市區的公車,走8分鐘就有渡輪可以到環形碼頭 跟機場的交通比較麻煩,要轉2-3次的大眾運輸

Jun 27, 2019This place suited me perfectly. I’m not sure if it’s the same for everyone but it was for me. Very clean and functional. Small but enough for my use. Vicinity to Rose Bay wharf is unbelievably close. I would come back here if I needed to stay in the vicinity.

Jun 27, 2019It’s not the ritz but it’s cozy and comfortable. Perfect for those of us that can’t afford the moon. Shaun was super helpful with suggesting places to see and is very kind hearted. Also the bed is very comfy! I had the best night sleep!
