Full disclosure I have had a few complaints in the past about guests being very loud late at night. Please cooperate and respect the neighbors after 11pm.

Rules
Please do not smoke in the house, but feel free to smoke on the rooftop. On the rooftop please refrain from throwing anything off the edge. Please try to keep the apartment tidy and the surfaces clean once you leave. Turn off aircon and lights when going out, as I have to pay the bills for all that. There is a rubbish bin in the stairwell immediately outside of the apartment for easy disposal.

My parents stayed in this fabulous apartment very comfortably! The location was amazing with spectacular views. They were able to walk most places escalators and bus stops were very close by. His neighbour Luke met us at the apartment and made us feel very welcome. Definitely the perfect location, bars, restaurants, supermarkets all you need is here and from there will have a amazing view on these glamourous buildings ! The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed. They had a wonderful stay and if they have to return to Hong Kong would definitely stay here again! You can book it with your eyes closed !
Jun 27, 2019Dan's place was great - clean, spacious (for Hong Kong) and well equipped. We were met by Dan's neighbour as Dan was away, but he'd left clear instructions on how everything worked and what we needed to do. Any questions we asked Dan directly or we could again refer to the neighbour to solve. A delightful place and a great host.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Dan's apartment for 3 nights. Everything was as we expected and just perfect for our use. We were 4 friends, 1 big double bed for 2 and the sleeping couch is also really big enough for 2. Clean rooms and very safe building. I had a very friendly contact with Dan before the arrival and his neighbour Luke how gave us the keys. Also the location was perfect for us- easy to get to all the sightseeing places and no long way home after a few drinks in Soho and LKF :) I would definitely book the apartment again when I come back!! :)
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was clean and very basic, with everything you need provided. The location is very convenient, located a minute away from the Mid Levels escalators. We had a difficult time getting the toilet to flush during our stay (we are told this never happens, so we were most likely just unlucky), but Dan was always reachable via (Hidden by Airbnb) and his neighbour Luke did come over to help. I didn't get the chance to see the rooftop, so cannot comment on that.
Jun 27, 2019Great place to stay! Excellent view and location in Midlevels, it's a 5 minute walk to SoHo and a 15 minute walk to Central by taking the neighborhood escalators. It was super easy to coordinate arrival and departure. The place was nicely kept and the two places to sleep (the bed and pull out sofa bed) were comfortable. Recommended for 1-3 guests, especially if you want to stay in a proper neighborhood away from the hotels.
Jun 27, 2019Great crash pad for exploring Hong Kong. Super close to escalators. Great bakery on the block. Crazy restaurants and bars within crawling distance. The roof deck is GORGEOUS. Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Very nice location and nice appartment with a great rooftop. Dan was very nice and answered all the questions we had right away. Very good deal for Hong Kong if you want to be near Soho. We had a great time, will stay here next time in HK.

Jun 27, 2019Thanks a lot to Dan for being very flexible dates and very helpful. Apartment is located in good location and can be easily reached by midlevel escalators. It has great view and everything you need even if you are staying with an infant, but watch out for the parquet as a child can take pieces out. Aircons a bit on the noisy side, but you get used to it after a while. There is a supermarket and Starbucks across the road, which is very handy to get coffee in the morning when you're going to the city and groceries for dinner on the way back. Overall great place to stay!

The place is very clean and is comfortable enough for 4 people, and Dan had prepared towels and clean sheets for everyone and was great in communicating with me to arrange check in and check out

Jun 27, 2019We booked Dan's place at the very last minute during New Year and stayed for 5 days. Dan was very helpful and friendly. He waited for us to arrived to pass the key. His place was very clean and tidy and what we love the most about Dan's apartment was the rooftop. For a group of four people who loves taking photos, that rooftop was awesome. Located at Caine Road in Hong Kong Island, most of taxi driver know how to get to his place. If you wanna get to the nearest train station by walking, it would be The Central Station and will take you around 15 minutes walking by the elevator full with cafes and reastaurant along the sidewalk with a great city view. Thank you Dan for your hospitality.

Jun 27, 2019Apartment with excellent location. Grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance from home. Prior to Central MTR station to the terminal and the Macao Ferry 10 minutes. Opposite the entrance is a bus stop. The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. All the appliances in working condition. The apartment has a good view. There is access to the roof.
Jun 27, 2019Dan was a great host, he always made himself available if any issues came up- had great suggestions for places to eat at. Even had his helper fix a slight issue with the TV - loose plug. I didn't get to use the rooftop deck access but it would've been a great add on - however weather didn't permit due to rain. the location is high up the midlevels and was true to the description of 8mins to LKF - very safe and doorman available 24/7. 12 mins walking to the Central / HKG MTR station

Jun 27, 2019Dan made all the organisation really straightforward. In spite of our constantly changing arrival times, he remained unfazed and relaxed! All emails were answered immediately and everything worked really well. The location of the apartment is brilliant, it is the perfect place to base a Hong Kong trip. Beds were comfortable and all instructions clear. The accommodation is very compact but to be honest we only wanted somewhere to sleep- not spend our days in- so it was totally perfect for us. Our first Airbnb experience and a really good one.
Jun 27, 2019The area always felt safe with a locked front door that requires a code and a guard who was always smiling, and saying hi. The apartment has an amazing view, and the location could not be any better. The bed was by far the most comfortable I've slept in through 2 trips to Hong Kong, and Japan. When I say the bed was comfortable I mean it really was super comfortable. The previous beds I slept in at hotels that cost more than 3 times Dan's place don't even compare. The building and neighbors are quiet so you will always get a good night's sleep. Although Dan was traveling himself he took the time to message me to make sure everything was okay. I would 100% definitely stay here again! Thanks Dan for opening up your home which made my stay that much more enjoyable!

The location is also great, Lan Kwai Fong was nearby, that was fabulous. We really enjoyed our family vacation. Strongly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019The arrival was easy, the key left with security who are very helpful every day. The apartment is on the top floor so the views a fantastic, the place is light and airy. There is plenty of room and it is a comfortable place. I can't say much more than it's on the top of my list.

If you stay here, you must take advantage of Dan's private roofdeck! Awesome views! I would stay here again next time I am in Hong Kong!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is in a very central location and very close to the Mid-Levels escalators, which helps if you are arriving in Hong Kong station from the airport and don't want to take a taxi. Easy way up. Dan gave very clear directions and left instructions for everything. The place was very clean and ready to go, with some pretty good views of the city. We loved the place but think we might have been unlucky as there were issues with the water supply in the building in some of the days we stayed in. While Dan was very responsive, we did have to re-adjust some of our plans because of this. Perhaps not an issue if you do not have a tight agenda when you visit/the water supply problem was a one-off.

Jun 27, 2019Dan's place completed our HK vacation. The apartment was bigger than expected. Check-in was easy and Dan left a doc with info on the apartment on the coffee table. Nice TV channel selection and strong wifi...the wifi continued to work well even when we had 5+ devices connected. The shower had good water pressure and the water heater worked great. The main bedroom was clean and had more space than anticipated and the bed was very comfortable with a great window view. (The roof access offered great views as well, as Dan's place is in one of the tallest buildings in the area.) The futon in the main room pulled out into a bigger bed and was also great. The living area was of decent size and the extra chairs meant we could have sit-down meals at the table. The kitchen allowed us to cook for ourselves and we appreciated having a variety of cups, plates and silverware to fit our needs. The washer was perfect for a post-hike load and allowed us to pack lighter. Dan was an amazing host himself, and replied quickly to our questions with very helpful answers. The building was quiet (no loud neighbors) and the guys who worked the front desk were very nice and friendly. If I come back to HK, I'd rebook Dan's place as it was a spacious, clean property in a central, convient location with an amazing, responsive host.

Jun 27, 2019The perfect home base for our stay in Hong Kong. Dan was an excellent host. From the booking throughout the stay he was always responsive and had great suggestions for seeing the city. We loved being right off the escalator- it was extremely convenient for exploring or getting down to the ifc to catch a ferry. The neighborhood is quiet, but with quick access to restaurants and night life. There was a small grocery store right down the street and an excellent bakery called LeVian. We purchased bread and eggs to make breakfast before heading out for the day. The apartment is well-stocked with dishes and cookware, and the space was comfortable for three adult travelers. We made it up to the rooftop one night to hang out and watch the lights. Super cool private space to experience the city. Highly recommend Dan’s apartment for your stay in HK.
Jun 27, 2019I travel a lot to HKG on business and Dan's place is always one I check to see if available, one of my favourites. Dan is a great host, always responds quickly, his place is in a fantastic position and even though it's on Cain Rd it is quiet because it is so high up. It is only few minutes from the escalator, plenty of bars and eating within a few minutes walk, and the buses are right out the front. The place is clean and tidy, great facilities, everything works and access is quick and simple. I look forward to my next stay.

Jun 27, 2019Dan's apartment is very clean and its close to the bus (Website hidden by Airbnb) also close to Lan Kwai Fong but there is no noise around.Dan is very patient.I aked lots of questions and I always got reply quickly and detailed. Dan的房子离半山扶梯很近,然后楼下门口就有一个公交站,地铁的话要走个几分钟,楼上视野比较好没有什么遮挡物｡房子很干净整洁,一应俱全,我们烧饭什么都很方便｡Dan非常耐心,各种问题都回复及时并且详细,入住过程很顺利,虽然他不在,但是不受影响｡无线也很快,电视有的台可能稍微有点卡｡整体很推荐!感觉住在中环这边又安静又方便｡

Jun 27, 2019Квартира находится в прекрасном месте рядом с эскалатором, магазинами и кафе. Вид из квартиры изумительный! Wi-fi был очень быстрым. Квартира небольшая и вся заполнена вещами владельца. Фотографии, видимо, были сделаны давно и не совсем отражают действительность. Диван очень старый с неприятным запахом, белье и полотенца влажные и с неприятным запахом тоже, кондиционеры шумные, но без них в квартире запах сырости. Не подходит для путешественников с детьми (небезопасные окна, огромное количество стеклянных бутылок на полу). В ванной отличный напор. Мы всегда останавливались в отеле Bishop чуть выше, что и планируем сделать при следующей поездке. Dan был очень мил, отвечал на все вопросы при бронировании. Мы не виделись, но встреча была организована наилучшим образом. Я бы рекомендовал данную квартиру при условии проведения небольшого ремонта и подготовки площади для комфортного проживания гостей.

The apartment is a bit small for four people since there's not much space to store luggage, but still a great apartment. Dan always responded immediately when we had questions.

It's close to the escalators to go down to Central, there's a bus stop right in front of the building, various cafes, supermarkets and places for children in the same street. The apartment is in a nice building with fast elevators. Being up on the 24th floor gives you a great view, especially at night. Dan's place had the perfect size for us, a family of 4 with small children. The bedroom is separated by a door from the living area, which was great to separate our toddler from the baby at night. Dan made up the pull out couch for us so that we had 2 beds to sleep in. The bathroom has a bathtub which also was good for the kids. The kitchen had all basic amenities. For Hong Kong standards, his place has a pretty good size. Check in and check it went smoothly and easy. Dan is very communicative and fast in responding. He was very flexible with our check out time. We'd stay at his place again if we're back in Hong Kong and can recommend it to other guests.
