Leichhardt is located in Sydney’s Inner West approximately 6km from the CBD. Famously known in the past as “Little Italy” for it’s Italian culture and restaurants, there is now a much more varied selection of dining options available. We are a 3 minute walk from the local shopping centre, Leichhardt Marketplace that has Woolworths, Aldi, a bottle shop, Chemist, Butcher, Grocer/Deli, Bakery and specialty stores/services. Cafes, a pub, restaurants and laundromat are located a short 5 minute walk away on Marion Street, Leichhardt. A 10 minute walk will get you to the famous Norton Street where there is a vibrant selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes, wine bars, bookstore, cinema and specialty stores. Leichhardt is a convenient suburb with easy access to all modes of transport to get you around Sydney and its sights from Bondi to the City and to The Blue Mountains!

Located in the inner west suburb of Leichhardt, we are subject to some aircraft noise. As Sydney airport is under a curfew there isn’t any aircraft movement between the hours of 11:00pm and 6:00am. Check In: 2:00pm Check Out: 10:00am Early check in and late check out is possible subject to availability. Please note, there is a security surveillance camera on the entry gate from the rear lane.

Trains, buses and the light rail are all within walking distance from the Studio. The train is a short 5-10 minute walk away and is a 14 minute ride to the CBD. Alternatively the light rail is a 10 minute walk away and the bus stops are a 3-5 minute walk away depending on where you want to go. A taxi to/from Sydney airport is approximately $35 to $45. Unmetered street parking is available if you are travelling with a vehicle. We can provide you with a map of where to park in close proximity to the studio.

Located at the rear of the property above our garage, private access is via a secure digital entry gate to the studio. The rear lane is well lit at night with a street light directly above our gate and a sensor light in the side passage entryway. With private digital entry you can come and go as you please. Unmetered street parking is available in surrounding streets if you have a vehicle. Note there is a narrow staircase of 17 steps up to the studio, please refer to images.
