Before you book this place please do read through all additional information. Its a smart pricing system from 90~118 AUD. Thats about $45~59 AUD PP for one night. I do not charge any hidden extra fee for 2 people. Other than one-time cleaning fee. $66 I work hard and travel a lot so I know sometimes some host can be unhelpful with your needs but I only treat people how I want to treat it. :) This is a safe, clean space. Please don't bring a guest or hosting a party of any kind. The apartment is an oldie but goodie. I love my home. Please treat it the same way as you would for our own home. :)

Neighborhood Overview
Kings Cross, Potts Point is known for nightlife, especially the neon-lit clubs and bars of Kings Cross. Daytime brings a buzzing cafe scene, with locals heading to Macleay Street for bistro brunches and edgy fashion. On Sundays, Kings Cross Market is filled with craft vendors and food stalls. Nearby, Llankelly Place is a foodie hub of hip multicultural eateries, while Victoria Street has backpacker pubs amid terraced houses. It sits on a ridge immediately east of Woolloomooloo, west of Elizabeth Bay and Rushcutters Bay and north of Darlinghurst. The suburb has a roughly trapezoidal shape, and at its greatest extent is no more than one kilometre long by 200 metres wide. Potts Point's eastern boundary is Macleay Street. It’s wonderful place. Very close to station
Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Griffin's space in Kings Cross/ Potts Point for a week and enjoyed it - the flat was bigger than I was expecting and being high up got beautiful light which we loved. It really had everything we needed. Griffin was very quick to respond to my messages and checked up on us mid week to make sure everything was fine which we appreciated. The location is fantastic being a couple of minutes to Kings Cross station and all the amenities the area has. The only thing I would mention is that being so central it can get a bit noisy in the flat, especially as the slatted window in the kitchen doesn't close as far as we could see and there was an air conditioning unit or something on the other side of it. But with ear plugs this didn't bother us too much and all the other excellent points more than made up for it. Thanks Griffin! Lucy and Ben

Jun 27, 2019Griffin was responsive, relaxed and very helpful. The studio is cute, well equipped for what you need as a city pad and location great for nightlife, transport links and shops. Tastefully decked out, its size isn’t an issue as it’s well put together. Lovely touch of flowers and fruit from the market too ;)

Jun 27, 2019Awesome stay! Perfect home-base for exploring Sydney that’s got lots of fun nightlife and coffee shops within a few blocks for anyone who wants to do a little work and plenty of play. Would definitely stay again!

Jun 27, 2019Griffin was an amazing host and after a long haul flight from London we arrived to groceries as the supermarkets would be shut for ANZAC day! It was these small touches along with a stylish and extremely clean apartment that made our stay well worth it. If we ever come back to Sydney we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Griffin!!

Jun 27, 2019Great spot for a short trip to Sydney. Very close to public transport and great food options all around Darlinghurst and Potts Point. Griffin was an excellent host and we really enjoyed our stay in his nice little apartment.

It was the perfect location for us as we spent a lot of time walking and exploring all surrounding areas. It’s a compact space which Griffin has done a very good job of making very effective and had everything we could have needed. And a very comfortable bed and pillows ! Plus very good wifi

Jun 27, 2019We had a lovely week staying at Griffins. The place itself is tiny but it had everything we needed! Amazing location right beside Kings Cross Station so super convenient to catch public transport. My favourite part was that One Yoga is literally 2 doors down! Also the restaurant right across the street - Silly Tart - is a must visit! Griffin was quick at responding if we had any questions and very accommodating. Thanks again!

Jun 27, 2019Griffin is a doll. He's very generous. The studio has everything you would ever need, including a white cockatoo on the rooftop across the way, bellowing. So easy to get to, and to get around, whether by transit or walking. Loved it.
Jun 27, 2019Griffinin asunto oli siisti ja viihtyisä. Siellä oli kaikki mitä tarvitsin viikon majoittumiseen. Sijainti oli hyvä: parin minuutin kävely Kings Cross asemalle. Alueella on kauppoja ja ravintoloita, jotka ovat myöhään auki. Miinuspuolena onkin, että katu/alue oli alkuyöstä usein aika meluisa. Alue on trendikäs ja eläväinen ja se kuului myös asuntoon. Parina ensimmäisenä yönä naapurit pitivät niin kovaa meteliä, että minun oli vaikea nukkua. Kerroin tästä Griffinille, joka lupasi ystävällisesti selvittää, voiko tehdä asialle jotakin. Loppuviikon nukuinkin paremmin, eivätkä naapurit enä häirinneet samalla tavalla. Griffin on ystävällinen ja avulias majoittaja, kommunikointi hänen kanssaan sujui mutkattomasti.
Jun 27, 2019Griffin's place was perfect for our 3 day stay in Sydney. The location was very close to the train station and also a reasonable walk to the harbor. The place was also well decorated and we had no problems checking in and out! Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is decorated nicely and in a great location. It’s a real apartment and not a hotel room, so expect the charms and imperfections of an apartment in an old building. Everything works and is clean and check-in was easy.
Jun 27, 2019Highly recommended. Griffin is a great host and very helpful to any questions! We love the location of it, very close to Kingscross Station. The studio is lovely with everything I need for a weekend, i.e a big comfy bed by windows. The apartment is a few storey up in the building which requires a few staircase walking. Mindful if you have mobility issues.
Jun 27, 2019Très bon séjour chez Griffin qui m'a très gentiment accueillie et renseigné sur les sorties possibles dans le week-end. L'appartement était propre, bien équipé avec une vraie petite cuisine et quelques ingrédients de base. Une corbeille de fruits était également à disposition. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la Wi-Fi portative !

Jun 27, 2019Kings Cross is packed with cool bars and good places to eat. The flat is next to the train station making it very quick and easy to get to central Sydney and out east to Bondi etc. The flat is basic but well laid out with a nice cosy feel. Kitchen and bathroom are very small so a long stay might it be ideal for 2 people. Had a great time and would be happy to stay again if visiting Sydney! Thanks

Jun 27, 2019Griffin's place was amazing! It is an old apartment, but super clean and very charming. Griffin was incredibly prompt with communication and our check in and check out was smooth. Griffin was super understanding as well when our flight was canceled last minute! The apartment is located in Kings Cross, really close to the train station which was great and really easy to get to and from the airport. However, it is Kings Cross be warned. One business next to the apartment is an adorable dog grooming parlor and the business on the other side was a gentleman's club...strange mix! However, considering Kings Cross is a "drinking area" we had no issues with noise from the street and felt safe walking around at night (there was two of us). There is no aircon in the apartment but the little fan works nicely. Also there is no fly screen on any of the windows which means you have to watch the windows if they are open (think bugs and birds). Griffin left some sparkling water and fruit in the apartment which was really lovely too. All in all, I recommend the apartment and would stay again!

Jun 27, 2019Griffin is a great host; friendly, flexible and kind. We were confronted with bad weather conditions in Sydney (our flight was cancelled) and he gracefully let us stay longer to accomodate alternative travel. Also Griffin answered quickly and accurately to all our questions. The appartment is near Kings Cross Station and is easy to get to by tube from the airport and city center. You can walk from the city center, it is not far but you have to like climbing like I do! The building is an oldie but goodie. It is functional, nice and light. The appartment is on the 5th floor so I was greatful that Griffin could get my suitcase upstairs. I would never have been able to do it on my own. The place consists of 3 spaces: a bedroom with a confy bed, table and a closet, a bathroom with a bathtub and connecting this a small kitchen where you can cook. Griffin left for us water and some stuff in the kitchen which was very kind and handy for the first day. There are 2 big supermarkets 2 minutes away. There is an baggage airbnb nearby if you need to store your luggage. Very easy and good.

We felt very safe around the area, considering the bad reputation Kings Cross has, and being told we were next to a Gentlemen’s Club. Would recommend, perfect for a couple.

Jun 27, 2019Griffin's met us for check in which was super nice as we arrived quite late, he had also got us some fresh fruit. The place is in the perfect location for transport around the city. It is a pretty busy area at night on the weekends but this isn't an issue in the apartment. Everything was as we expected, lovely and clean. This place is perfect for a trip to Sydney.
Jun 27, 2019Griffin’s apartment was amazing!! The space was beautifully decorated and had plenty of space, even for a small apartment. The kitchen had all the basics needed, and the whole apartment was super clean when we arrived. The location is excellent- only a couple minutes walk to Kings Cross Station, and we walked to the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge in 25-30 mins. The WiFi was also great- a little box you could take around with you in the city so you could always have access to internet (handy for maps!). Overall we had an excellent stay!
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is all about the access and convenience to get into the city and It’s true to description and size. What I loved is you are literally a block from King’s Cross Station which gets you to all the trains in the city. The apartment is located about 4 flights of stairs (no elevator) so just preplan on luggage. There is a full size grocery store 2 blocks away and a upscale Woolworths also within a couple of blocks not to mention tons of cafes. There was a small challenge at checkin but I was impressed with how quickly Griffin stepped in to remedy the situation. Overall great experience and provided everything I needed to enjoy my visit to Sydney.
