This house retains its original structure. As soon as we enter this house, we realize that we are in a house from the ending of the 19th century. The broad wooden stairs, the marbled walls, the high ceilings stuccoed. The living rooms on the first floor and the bedrooms upstairs. From the balcony of the living room we have access to the garden that will be of exclusive use of the guests. Originally the kitchen and the entire service area would be in the basement, the kitchen was installed in the dining room for better day to day operation. The kitchen is fully equipped.

- Luzia put a lot of love and affection to share this space with you. This is the reason why she do not ask for a security deposit – we believe our hosts will take care of the space as if their own and will reimburse her for any damage that might occur. Thank you for leaving it as you found it and have fun! This is a non-smoking house. Parties are not allowed, only small gatherings and no later than 23:00. Quiet times: between 23:00 and 07:00. If you come with children please be especially careful with the stairs.

Luzia as hostess was perfect, treated us the best possible way and provided everything we needed for a lovely stay in Porto (definitely ask Luzia about the good restaurants). ESPAÑOL: ¡Apartamento grandioso! Todo muy limpio, organizado, lleno de detalles y de muy buen gusto artístico. Luzia como anfitriona fue perfecta, nos trató de la mejor manera posible y no dejó faltar nada para una encantadora estancia en Oporto (definitivamente pregunte a Luzia sobre los buenos restaurantes). PORTUGUÊS: Apartamento magnífico! Tudo muito limpo, organizado, rico em detalhes e de bom gosto artístico. Luzia como anfitriã foi perfeita, nos tratou da melhor maneira possível e não deixou faltar nada para uma agradável estadia em Porto (definitivamente pergunte a Luzia sobre os bons restaurantes da cidade).
Jun 27, 2019Maison magnifique et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût où il fait bon vivre. La propriétaire est très sympathique et attentive et de bons conseils. Cette maison vaut vraiment le détour !
Jun 27, 2019Pasamos el puente de Mayo en casa de Luzia. Éramos dos parejas y hemos pasado unos días estupendos. La casa está bien ubicada, a menos de 10 minutos caminando de la Plaza de Poveiros, en un barrio muy tranquilo. La casa es espectacular, techos altos, grandes ventanales, arte por cada rincón y cada pared, silenciosa...Las camas nos resultaron comodísimas. En el piso de abajo está la cocina-comedor (perfectamente equipada), una sala que puede convertirse en habitación si se precisa, y un salón con acceso a un pequeño aseo, un balcón y unas escaleras que llevan a un jardín. En el piso de arriba están las dos habitaciones, una sala y el amplio baño. Luzia, la propietaria, nos recibió a la hora acordada. Fue muy amable con nosotros y nos dejó un pan riquísimo, vino, pasteles, fruta...además de recomendaciones de restaurantes y demás detalles para ayudarnos en nuestra estancia en Porto. La comunicación con Luzia durante todo nuestro viaje fue muy fluida, preocupándose en todo momento por nuestra comodidad y teniendo detalles muy bonitos con nosotros, cosa que le agradecemos enormemente. En resumidas cuentas, nos ha encantado la casa de Luzia y si volvemos a Porto seguro que repetiremos estancia, sin duda.

Jun 27, 2019Luzia‘s Haus ist ein Schmuckstück, toll umgebaut, mit ganz viel Atmosphäre. Wir waren sofort begeistert. Luzia hat uns sehr warmherzig empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Sie war für alle Fragen schnell zu erreichen und hat uns liebevoll umsorgt. Das Haus liegt in fussläufiger Entfernung zur Innenstadt von Porto. Luzia hat umfangreiche Pläne und Listen mit vielen Tipps erstellt - sowohl für die Infrastruktur rund ums Haus als auch für die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Porto und die leckersten Restaurants. Ein idealer Startpunkt für das Entdecken dieser spannenden Stadt!

From picking us up from the airport to thoughtful local tips to treats (she made us a fresh strawberry cake and had port, lemons & oranges, etc.)--she is an amazing hostess. Her home is breathtaking--a creative blend of historic and contemporary, with a beautiful color palate. It was not just a place to stay but a place to remember. Highly recommended.
Jul 27, 2019This was by far the best airbnb stay i ever had. The house is beautiful with a lot of details, the location is central and near to a metro station, but still quiet. Luzia is a perfect host, she baked a lovely cake for us, there was fresh fruit, a lot of tips for porto, fresh flowers everywhere. etc. etc. Also thanks to Mariana, who welcomed us dearly and showed us everything. Communication was super fast! If you come to Porto, you have to stay at this place!
Jun 27, 2019Luzias Haus ist ein echtes Fundstück, wie man diese nur noch ganz selten auf Airbnb findet, super liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, Haus noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern, eine total tolle Lage zentral, dennoch ruhig in einem upcoming Viertel. Luzia war die perfekte Gastgeberin und wir zehren immernoch von den tollen Tagen in Luzias Haus. Es gibt keine bessere Unterkunft in Porto. Einfach perfekt!

Jun 27, 2019We're a family of four and we really enjoyed staying at Luzia's place. Walking in was like stepping into a work of art. Luzia was very helpful with the time and information she gave us. The house is beautiful, old with lots of individual style. The local area was good to walk around with interesting houses to look at and a local bakery/cafe and small supermarket . Highly recommended! And if you wish to see Porto without the crowds I'd recommend Porto Sunrise walking tour(also airbnb)

She has literally thought of everything from what we could do, where we can get great coffee to where to see Porto’s fantastic art. I think Porto was an exceptional experience because we stayed here, we met her and we enjoyed her tips.
Jun 27, 2019Wir haben einen großartigen Aufenthalt in Luzias Haus genossen. Besoner gefallen hat uns der gute Stil der Einrichtung und die gelungene Renovierung bei der alte Details Erhalten geblieben sind; ein wunderschönes Haus. Schön auch die zentrale Lage, zu Fuß waren es vielleicht 10 Minuten in`s Zentrum, die Metro-Station mit Anbindung zum Flughafen liegt vielleicht 200 Meter entfernt. Auf den Bildern nicht so gut zu erkennen: es gibt 3 Schalfzimmer mit jeweils einem Doppelbett. Das der Hauptschlafraum keine Tür zum Treppenhaus hat hat uns nicht gestört.

The house is spacious, well styled with a personal touch and located in a quiet area just outside the busy city center. Luzia goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable, from picking you up from the airport to bringing you local cakes and cookies. A superhost with a superhouse! We can't recommend it enough
Jun 27, 2019Luzia est une hôte formidable, un accueil chaleureux, des petites attentions tout le long du séjour et une disponibilité pour répondre à toutes nos interrogations. Nous avons passé 2 semaines formidables au sein de cette maison au caractère unique. De grandes et hautes pièces lumineuses, une décoration efficace, nous nous sommes senti rapidement comme chez nous ! Équipement, mobilier, ustensiles, vaisselle, linge... tout y est, également pour les bébés et enfants en bas âge. Un voisinage, une rue agréable et calme. Proche d’une station de métro, restaurants et commerces. Nous ne pouvions pas espérer mieux pour découvrir Porto avec notre petit garçon. Merci Luzia!

Jun 27, 2019In deze volkse buurt op wandelafstand van het cetrum ligt dit pareltje verborgen. Een rijhuis uit 1920, stijlvol aangepakt door de eigenares/archtecte met een bijzondere mix van originaliteit, creativiteit en het uitzonderlijk behoud van het authentieke. Alles wordt overgoten met mooie kunst, een massa lectuur en honderden cd's. De gastvrouw is SUPER. Aanrader voor wie net iets anders zoekt.

We loved this house, so much character and a real authentic Portuguese home! Would love to stay again. Thank you for everything Luzia it was a fantastic experience and a great memory of Porto.
Jun 27, 2019Helemaal eens met de eerdere lovende recensies. Luzia is een uitstekende gastvrouw (snelle reactie, ophalen vliegveld, attenties zoals bloemen, zelfgebakken cake, flesje wijn/port). Het oude pand is prachtig verbouwd met behoud van authentieke elementen en is zeer smaakvol ingericht met veel kunst aan de muren. Het is precies zoals de foto's op airbnb laten zien. Het huis was super schoon met heerlijke bedden en dito handdoeken. De locatie is niet direct in het centrum maar in 20 min. lopen ben je bij het treinstation Sao Bento. Op ongeveer 300 meter van het huis is een metrostation (24 de Agosto) en met de metro bereik je snel de mooie Luis 1 brug. Niets dan lof dus over deze airbnb. Luzia, nogmaals dank en ik zal je zeker aanbevelen. Groet, ook van mijn vriendinnen. Yvonne.

She is a very genuine and a super helpful host, who will do whatever she can to make your stay as easy, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The Airbnb is better in person than online. It is extremely spacious, artfully decorated, super clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Wifi works perfectly! A local phone is even provided! Don't second guess this place. Book it immediately!
Jun 27, 2019I can't imagine a nicer place to stay in Porto. Luzia's house is spacious, beautifully decorated and full of character - no standard, bland furnishings here. It is a 10 minute walk from the centre, and Luzia is an amazing host. Nothing was too much trouble, from picking us up at the airport to baking us a cake, providing port and figs, and even bringing us some homemade quince jam. I and my 2 friends felt very lucky to have found this special place and special host, and will be recommending it to anyone we know visiting Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Super maison au calme , très très bien équipée , parfaitement propre et vraiment très agréable à vivre . Excellent accueil avec fleur , porto et très bon biscuits. . Nous on serait bien reste beaucoup plus longtemps !!!! Deux resto tout à côté , très bien et vraiment à cher et tellement copieux , demi portion vivement conseillé Si vous n'êtes pas un ogre !!!
