Neighborhood Overview
Approximately 400m walk to Chinatown, Market City, World Square, and Hyde Park. Closely situated to major shopping precincts, restaurants, bars, and night clubs etc. A few mins walk to Darling Harbour. Streets of delicacies nearby, with hundreds of variety cuisines from many different countries.

We are located in 317-321 Castlereagh Street, The lobby of Oaks Hotels & Resorts is closed at 6 pm. and you need security swipe card to get in. Please try to arrange your check in before 6 pm. You need to contact the host or co-host in advance to arrange your check-in if later than 6 pm.
Transit
Train - 450m to Sydney Central Railway Station, 400m to Museum station. Buses - 200m to bus stops to popular destinations such as: Bondi Junction (route 440), Coogee Beach (route 374); Taronga Zoo (route M30); Broadway / University of Sydney (route L23).

Super convenient location, located in Haymarket between Chinatown and Surry Hills. The building location is on the quiet side of the block, but when you walk out the front door and turn either corner there are endless casual eateries with fantastic food, many open late too. Check out Boon Cafe and Yok Yor! Tumbalong Park and Darling Harbour are an 10 minute walk, Chinatown and Market City are steps away. And one block the opposite direction is the tip of Surry Hills!
Jun 27, 2019Amazing location close to centre station and china town,and about 10 minutes walk to Darling harbour and Westfield shopping mall.The room is very clean, wifi is fast, great city view from the balcony. Centre air-condition woking well, the bed is very comfortable. The host Sally is very kind and polite, i am highly recommend this accommodation if you are travel with your families or friends.

Also loved the access to the pool, spa and gym. Sally’s communication with us was fabulous. Looking forward to coming back!

Jun 27, 2019Sally's apartment was close to both Museum Station & Central Station. There is a supermarket, convenience store and lots of places to eat close by. It is in walking distance to The National Museum, Powerhouse Museum and Darling Harbour. We enjoyed having access to the pool and spa too. A great spot for a family holiday in Sydney.
Jun 27, 2019If you are looking for an easy check-in and nice, central location then this is the place for you. We enjoyed the views from the balcony and the spaciousness of the place. Note this is not a two bedroom in the traditional sense as the couch, table and access to the balcony are all in the space considered the second bedroom. This worked fine for us but could be confusing if looking at the photos and thinking they are separate bedrooms from the living space. Sally was very easy to communicate with and was most accommodating for luggage drop off in the morning. This is in a centrally located area and very easy to get around.
Jun 27, 2019On the whole, our experience of renting this apartment was really great. Location - fabulous, a really good, central location, so easy to walk or get transport to wherever you want to go. And it really is only five minutes walk to Central Station! Check in - this was so easy with absolutely minimum fuss,. Cleanliness - the apartment was kept very clean. Equipment - the apartment was very well equipped. Layout - The apartment was bright and spacious. But please note this is not a traditional two bedroom apartment. The lounge/tv/dining table are in the larger bedroom. Host - Sally was great with ongoing communication, and although we didn't need to, we felt that she would have been easy to reach had we needed her. Just one note, although the info says that the apartment is newly furnished, there are still some aspects that haven't been upgraded.

Jun 27, 2019Sally's place is in a great location with access to the Hey Market, Capital Theatre, Chinatown, central station and a short stroll to World Square. The apartment is very spacious and has great views of the city. Easy access in and out and it was great that Sally gave us two access keys. We loved it and so will you. Definitely will stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019因为提前到了悉尼…所以联系房东是否可以提前入住…真的很感谢房东…满头大汗的收拾卫生…为了尽快让我们提前入住…房间不是严格意义上的两室…因为一间卧室就是在起居室放了沙发餐桌等东西…不过这丝毫不影响…房子最棒的是位置…基本步行到唐人街到coles到皮特街都可以…真的非常好…站在大阳台就可以看到中央车站…很好…

Jun 27, 2019TLDR: We had a pleasant stay as a family of 5, with kids ages 8-13. It was clean and as described. Some things were annoying but we slept well and loved the accessibility. Sally's place has a GREAT location for public transit. Legit <10 min walk (kid-pace) to the central train station, once we figured out the fastest route. We used the trains and buses and also walked to many central destinations. Perfect for our needs. Don't be put off by the odd configuration. The lounge room with beds is spacious and comfortable. We used it both for kids' bedroom and eating. Didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment otherwise so that was just fine. The only issue was eating over carpet; we had to vacuum to manage crumbs between meals. The biggest drawback here was in the bathroom. The toilet is LOUD when it's refilling--kind of a squealing sound as if the shower is on. Made us not want to flush after anyone went to bed. And speaking of the shower, it was one of the worst I've encountered!! Low pressure and the temperature would change randomly from cold to scalding hot (and NOT while anything else was using water in the apartment.) My family was amused by my yelps as I got hit by hotter water than I could stand, but I wasn't! A bath was more pleasant, and perfect for the kids, but be aware that the tub is an odd shape. It narrows at the upper end and anyone larger than my US-size-10 bottom can expect not to be able to sit in it for a soak. Kitchen is clean and minimally-adequately-equipped. There are just enough pots & pans to do some basic cooking, but only one huge awkward knife. I've suggested they get a better set! There was a dishwasher but not much detergent so we mostly washed by hand. I wish there had been a teapot--I made tea in a saucepan. You'll find some very basic supplies (salt/pepper/sugar/tea) but otherwise pretty much bare cupboards--this isn't one of those places where you'll find some edibles left from previous guests. That's fine; some people really prefer it that way. Just be aware you'll need to supply most all condiments, oils etc. if you plan to cook. We liked having the clothes washer and some detergent was provided. The shades are good in the bedroom but in the lounge/bedroom there's a slight bay window that can't be darkened as fully. Thankfully the kids were jet-lagged enough to sleep well anyway. One thing that gave me a weird feeling were all sorts of ominous signs and letters to residents posted in the lobby and elevators--it sounds like the building is recently under new management and getting its financial affairs in order? Also lots of rules about visitors and not letting people in or loaning out your key, which made me wonder if they've had problems with objectionable people? We didn't encounter anything untoward, but it doesn't create a great atmosphere.
Jun 27, 2019A very strategic location in the middle of two train stations. One of the places that provide an exact address and place. If you're not new to the Airbnb, you should know what I mean. Compare to the Oaks in the same building, it's at least 25% cheaper. All amenities and all facilities as per Sally's mentioned in the property details. For the eateries, just go down and you can find the famous Yok Yor nearby but I prefer Chon Siam for daily meals. For Indonesians, there is Toko H2O below for your daily needs, they even sells lontong oncom and es doger. For breakfast, you can find Mist Cafe. Go there early to get the affordable breakfast set. Nearest proper supermarket is Coles in World Square, less than 1 km. The Chinatown and Paddy's market are in the walking distance. In short, if you are agree with the prices, you are better directly book this property.
