Neighborhood Overview
The Eixample area of Barcelona was built on the nineteenth century. It is the birthplace of the Artistic Modernist movement of Antoni Gaudi which is its main reference. In this area you can find the impressive Sagrada Familia, the two famous Gaudí houses, La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, the Manzana de la Discordia and the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. A large part of the appeal of the Eixample is the mythical avenue Passeig de Gràcia, one of the most famous avenues in Spain due to its importance for shopping, business and a great showcase of outstanding works of modernist architecture is compared to the Champs Elysees in Paris or Fifth Avenue in New York. This area is full of great modernist works, such as Gaudi's Casa Batlló, Casa de Puig i Cadafalch Amatller and Lleo Morera by Domènech i Muntaner well known as the Manzana de la Discordia. Angel is a good host.He is very helpful with all the information needed prior to my (Website hidden by Airbnb) we arrived after midnight,we thought it would be difficult to contact them but it was very easy.We love the design of the (Website hidden by Airbnb) is clean and proper.The location is also good.Walking distance to Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla.24hr supermarket is everywhere near our (Website hidden by Airbnb) for us to do grocery shopping on the way back.Overall a very nice experience in Barcelona.Thanks Angel
Jun 27, 2019The flat is wonderfully Barcelona. It is ideally located in a beautiful period building on the top floor and offers a very nice view towards the mountain and sea. You can sit on the balcony that spans the living room and main bedroom as the green parrots fly by. The interior is very nice and the beds are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this flat to anyone visiting Barcelona.
Jun 27, 2019We met with Angel's collegue the day we arrived. The building is an ancient but well kept with beautiful moisaic. The apartment was very clean and beautiful. The view from the 4th floor was breath taking! Couldn't ask for more. Will come back soon!
Jun 27, 2019Very nice place, beautiful view over Barcelona, clean and tidy. We stayed 4 people and had a great time. Location is perfect for tourists. Metro station in the immediate vicinity. Plaza de Catalunya is some 5 walking minutes away. I could recommend it warmly to everyone who wants to visit Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Very nice, clean and comfortable apartment. The location is great, ca 2 minutes walk from the Universitat metro station. There is an elevator in the building. Smooth and timely 'check in'. Angel was available and quick to response when we had questions.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed in Barcelona during 5 days / 4 nights. The place that Angel actually recommended to us was perfect. Both in terms of location (in the very hip and happening Eixample neighbourhood) and in terms of space. 2 comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, a nice and spacy living room and 2 cute balconies from which you can see Barcelona life go by. Angel has been very response and helpful. I would definitely recommend this apartment!
Jun 27, 2019We were greeted by the agent within 10 minutes of arrival and shown round, then pretty much left to our own devices which was great. Apartment was very nice on the whole and the living area is more spacious than the pictures give it credit for. On the whole the apartment is well fitted out, particularly the kitchen and bathrooms. Bedrooms are quite small but not that wasn't a real problem. Really liked the hydraulic flooring. The apartment is pretty much central to all the areas you need to visit and within 15-20 minutes walk from most things you will want to see. The local area is pretty safe and we had little reason to fear, even late at night. It is on the fourth floor though so I hope your calves can take the strain. The lift works but cannot take the weight of four English folk full of cerveza and tapas. Not the end of the world though as our party loves walking! Thanks; would recommend.

The apartment is in a very quiet area of town, but still close to the subway and to all the main sites. Angel was always available to answer our questions and also booked us a taxi for the day we left. Overall I greatly suggest staying at Angel's

In uno stabile dei primi del 900 coniuga particolare d'epoca, come gli stupendi pavimenti, con una ristrutturazione moderna, minimale e di design. Davvero bello e piacevole. Ho soggiornato solo 3 notti ma ne avrei fatte volentieri di più. Le foto sono tutte veritiere e per quanto mi riguarda, l'appartamento non manca di nulla. Consigliato.
Jun 27, 2019Pros: - Great location, only a few minutes walk from Universistat metro - Pictures capture apartment - Clean, presentable - 2 bathrooms - Working dishwasher and washing machine Cons: - We had some issues getting the sofa bed to work properly so if there are more than 4 of you planning to stay here be aware that the fifth person might not have as comfortable stay as the others. - No basic cooking materials such as oil, seasoning and spices Overall, great apartment - recommended!!
Jun 27, 2019Wow, what a great place! It has everything you could possible need. The kitchen was well stocked, we appreciated having coffee, sugar, salt and pepper available. Great location, short walk to the Metro and lots of great cafes. We were met by one of Angel's friends who was very helpful. He had lots of great suggestions for us. We loved having such a luxurious place to stay.

Is located in a very convenient place - many interesting sightseeing objects located nearby, good infrastructure in terms of public transportation and other facilities. Definitely a good choice for those who stay for several days - totally feels as if you are home :) Thank you very much for the good and fast service and for making our stay even more enjoyable!!
Jun 27, 2019The appartment itself is great- it's beautiful and perfectly located, we enjoyed it a lot. Small supermarket just across the street, few min. walk to nearest metro station, less than 10 min. walk to Plaza Catalunia. The only problem we had was with musquitos- the place was full of them, although we never opened a window during our stay. The host claimed it was a problem of the season and the area, which might be it. At the bottom line, this appartment was not cheap at all, but we chose it as we were travelling with 2 little children, and this gave a perfect response to the need of enough space, comfort, and great location. Highly recommended.

We were here with two babies and the owner kindly arranged two baby cribs for us. Great pick for everyone travelling to Barcelona!
Jun 27, 2019Contact with host was quick. Flat is located in the city center, 15 minutes walk from La Rambla, Boqueria. We got to the apartment without any problem. Angel's flat was comfortable for 4 and clean. There were towels, hairdryer, iron. Value for money!
Jun 27, 2019Perfect apartment! Location is great: less than 10 minutes easy walk to Pl. Catalunya, 24 h supermarket just opposite. The apartment is just like on the photos. Ideal for two couples. Although we didn't meet Angel, we had no problems. The communication with Angel is very easy, he responded in few minutes to our request for late check out. I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019We have just returned from Barcelona staying 1 week in this wonderful apartment. The apartment is located perfectly 5 min walk from Plaza Catalunia and the start of La Rambla. The neighborhood is very cosy with many lively bars, good restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It can be a little bit noisy at night, but this is of course quite normal in a bigger city. The apartment is exactly as described on the pictures and in the listing. It is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with 2 nice bathrooms. The decor in the living room is just awesome with old spanish tiles on the floor and a wonderful ceiling. The bathroom have been renovated within the last couple of years and are very nice. In the bathroom connected to the master bedroom the door to the shower was however missing. The owner confirmed that it would be replaced shortly! The apartment is completely without any personal items and is probably only used commercially. The more frequent Airbnb users are probably used to this, but for us using Airbnb for the first time this was a minor surprise. The communication with the host was perfect. We can not complain. He/she answered immediately on the few questions we had. The check in and check out was also without any problems and happened smoothly. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay in this apartment and in Barcelona. We will be back

Une petite suggestion: il n'y avait aucun savon main, pas de café, pas d'huile d'olive,... Pour un séjour de 3 jours, cela n'est pas très pratique car il y avait peu de fournitures basiques permettant de profiter pleinement de l'appartement... mais à part cela, c'est une adresse à recommander .
Jun 27, 2019Myself, my mum, my brother and his girlfriend all stayed in Angels apartment last week, and we were really impressed with both the location and the apartment itself. It was very easy to locate, just a 2-3 minutes walk from the nearest Carre-four and the metro station. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the top of La Rambla at the Plaza Catalunya. In terms of location, I really can't recommend it enough, its central to a lot of sites and generally the metro took about 10 minutes to get to La Sagrada Familia or the Picasso museum. The apartment itself is really lovely, the beds are very comfortable and its quite spacey, its perfect for 2-4 people. Its decorated beautifully, is very light and the balcony looks out onto a pretty street view. We were met by Angel's friend who was very helpful and showed us around the apartment, making us feel very welcome. There was also a pack that had a few recommendations of popular sites and places to visit which was kind. Overall I couldn't really fault our stay - everything was so easy and laid back, and we really enjoyed staying at Angel's apartment. Hopefully we'll be able to come back soon!
Jun 27, 2019The flat at Muntaner 13 was great for 4 people, nice living room, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single), 2 very modern bathrooms and a perfect little balcony with a view. We enjoyed our stay very much and Angel and his team were flexible with check-in and check-out times. The only thing that is worth noting is that there were no shower products, maybe ask the host to provide those.

Jun 27, 2019We spent 4 nights in Angels apartment and everything was very nice. Apartment is cozy and exactly as the pictures shown on Airbnb. Location is perfect, super nice bars and restaurants close by. Easy to walk to the main sights. Person was there on time to give our keys and we had a good communication (our flight was delayed) with the host. Would absolutely stay there again and can recommend it. No complaints what so ever.

Brilliant location, pretty spacious, clean and tidy, lovely kitchen and bathrooms etc. The only issue was the noise from traffic and bars on the street. We had to shut all windows and put air conditioning before going to bed. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and with a wonderful balcony; we really liked that it has two bathrooms; it also has an elevator which was a must for us. Check in and check out was very easy.

Jun 27, 2019We arrived at the apartment via My Taxi ride from airport - $29 with tip - and were greeted by an employee of Angels. She showed us around the apartment and explained where everything was. She also provided us with a recommendation sheet of restaurants and things to do - two of them were incredible, especially the breakfast Brunch and Cake. The apartment is very clean and plenty of space for 2-5 people. It has a great balcony with views of the city and an elevator for easy access as it's on the 4th floor. The wifi worked great. Location is great with plenty of areas that are walkable - Rambla was a 10-15 minute walk. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is exactly as described in the photographs. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the Metro and a few more blocks to Plaza Catalunya. There were plenty of good restaurants around (St. Moritz brewery, just around the corner), and a few small convenient stores. Each bedroom had very comfortable beds and its own private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Like the fact that the bedrooms are in opposite sides so there is a feeling of privacy. The owner was very responsive and helped us retrieve safely some electronics that we forgot in the bedroom. A big plus is that the bldg has a lift (elevator), which helped with luggage, since it's located on the 4th FL. Lovely apartment and highly recommended.

Jun 27, 2019Very good. Layout of apartment was great, location was perfect. Bed in master bedroom was not really comfortable for our tastes. There was a miscommunication, I asked in advance, actually twice, that the third person in our group to be let in on Tuesday, I assumed this was acceptable since the request was not denied. When our person called for arrangements she was told that she would not be let in.
Jun 27, 2019Firstly the things we loved about this apartment were: Excellent location, a beautiful building in a very nice area closely located to lots of coffee shops and only a 15 minute walk from Plac' de Catalunya. A very modern little flat well equipped with most of the essentials. Suggestions for improvement: More lighting ( the flat is a bit too dark, especially in the kitchen) A dryer would be nice ( the washing machine is great, but on rainy days there is no way of getting the washing dry) The door keys do not fit properly and one needs to jiggle the key around to find the opening every time which was very annoying. The TV channels do not really work very well. Only 2 or 3 channels that work with a lot of interference.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great weekend in Barcelona. The apartment is central everything in walking distance. Very clean . Two bathrooms a plus. Beds comfy. It's in a great old style block with a lift which was another plus. Bit of traffic noise in the front bedroom but nothing a pair of earplugs can't sort. Overall a fantastic stay in a wonderful city. Would definately recomend.
Jun 27, 2019We are a family of 5 and stayed 4 nights in December. The appartment is fantastic, in a location that is just perfect for discovering the city. Many places to visit in Barcelona can be reached by foot, otherwise the metro is very close. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants near, but it's good to know it can be a little bit noisy.
Jun 27, 2019The perfect location: it's very easy to get in from the airport, very close to the subway, but also very easy to walk to all the major monuments in the Barrio Gotic and Eixample. The apartment is also extremely comfortable and well appointed. We stayed with another couple, and we each had privacy in our own bedroom & bathroom while sharing the common space. The apartment has wonderful light, a well stocked kitchen area for any cooking, and very comfortable furniture. We'll definitely stay again the next time we're in Barcelona.
Jun 27, 2019This was a fantastic find for us as we travel to Barcelona frequently and this is now one of our favourites. The apartment is exceptionally clean and is light and airy but still has a lovely cosy feel. Thankfully there is a lift as it is located on the the top floor. Communication and check-in were exceptional and friendly throughout the booking experience. Excellent location for seeing the city but pretty quiet even though it's located at the bottom end of c/Muntaner. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and will happily rebook in the future. Thank you for an excellent stay in Barcelona!!
Jun 27, 2019A truly fabulous flat in a perfect location. The front bedroom is nosy but that is the only fault. The decor is lovely, the bathrooms are great, the balcony and views gave you a real feel for the place. The flat was spotlessly clean and had everything one could need. It gave us a really wonderful experience of living in such a great city. Highly recommended.

(But hot water can run out with four people taking showers.) Well equipped kitchenette with full size table. Comfortable sitting area. Our party of four would stay here again without any reservations.

Jun 27, 2019This is a beautiful apartment very centrally located. There are restaurants/cafes and supermarkets nearby. The apartment has two lovely bedrooms and two well equipped bathrooms. This apartment is ideal for a family of four. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Barcelona. We really enjoyed this neighborhood. It felt like a local place and not full of tourists.

The balcony provides a great view of the hills behind and the street below, which wasn't as busy as some reviews suggest. It's a great location and we enjoyed exploring El Raval, full of students, hipsters, coffee shops and bars, in addition to the more touristy parts of Barcelona. Great location for the Airport bus and the metro too. Too many great eateries and coffee shops to list but we were never disappointed by the service or quality.

Jun 27, 2019O apartamento é bastante agradável, confortável e muito bem localizado. Apreciamos a decoração e a funcionalidade e o facto de estar equipado com o necessário. O único aspeto negativo que realço foi o tempo de espera para efetuar o check-in, o facto de termos esperado na rua bastante tempo e quando fomos recebidos pelo Nabil, só pudemos deixar as malas, pois ainda estavam a fazer a limpeza.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is amazing and clean! The position is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Ramblas, you have a bus stop close to the apartment and also a metro station near. The neighbourhood is beautiful, a little bit noise at night but no problem if you close the windows. Everything was perfect!!!
Jun 27, 2019The unit is what it shows on the photos, beautifully designed -the old architectural elements mixed with the modern . We liked the balcony and the views from it, the neighborhood, the kitchen, the Roca toilet fixtures, the strong water pressure, the ACU, the bedside power outlets and lamps, the food condiments, cleaning aids, water kettle, kitchen wares. Would like some improvement on the front toilet door ( doesn't close well) , sofa (stained /looked dirty), floor pillows (bleached out/looked dirty & worn out), dust balls on the floor, toiletries (handsoap and more shampoo/shower gel), trashbins (in toilets were too small). With regards to logistics, 3 blocks walk to get to bus or metro at Placa Catalunya. Hereon, everything is within reach- tourist sites, transportation, shops, food, etc. We arrived during a taxi strike so the 4 of us were forced to take the Aeroport bus with 4 big luggages and 4 stroller bags. Angel suggested the Airport bus and it got us there easy and fast. Only difficulty was lugging all our luggages to the door. Angel does his job for the company but I wouldn't really expect much from him as a host.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at this apartment with our two daughters (11&13) while on holiday and found that it perfectly fit all of our needs and was the ideal home to wrap up our trip abroad. Centrally located, dishwasher, laundry, two bed & bath rooms, dining and living room, well appointed kitchen - check, check, check... The building is quiet during the day but we caution that the nightlifers and early morning refuse collection/commuting traffic will provide a background track to your sleep. The triple pane window/shutter combo certainly helps, paired with a pair of ear plugs and you'll be set-up for a cozy sleep. The beds were super comfy and everything very tidy and clean. Although we never met Angel he was prompt and polite in all of our communications. We were met at the apartment by one of his associates who (albeit briefly) toured us through all of the amenities. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed this apartment and highly recommended it.

Jun 27, 2019Angel's place is a perfect place to stay in Barcelona. It has so much charm and style. It's very close (walking distance) to the center of tourist activity, the nightlife of Xiample district and the subway. Up on the 4th floor (and there is a great elevator) you don't get much noise from the street. Communication was simple and easy. Angel even let me check in early. It's a great place, I would definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019The location of Angel's apartment was perfect for our stay, there are so many great restaurants and tapas to be had just steps away from the apartment. We tried one of Angel's recommendations and it was spot-on!!! The view from the balcony was picture perfect European vacation. There was a bit of street noise, but nothing that couldn't be drown out by some earplugs. The beds were very comfortable and we slept wonderfully. The apartment is well appointed, and he thoughtfully included a blowdryer as well as shampoo and conditioner. We had an amazing stay in Barcelona and we'd definitely stay at Angel's apartment if we find ourselves in Barcelona again!

Jun 27, 2019Angel´s Wohnung ist zu 100% empfehlenswert! Eine toll eingerichtete Wohnung in perfekter Lage! Man ist mittendrin, sodass man viel zu Fuß erreichen kann. Aber auch die Metro und der Flughafentransferbus sind gleich ums Eck an der Plaza Universitat. In der Wohnung ist man mit allem gut ausgestattet. Uns hat nichts gefehlt. Wir haben 6 Tage mit unseren 6-jährigen Zwillingen in Barcelona verbracht, sodass auch die Waschmaschine sehr praktisch war. Frühstücken waren wir jeden Morgen in einem anderen Café. Es gibt unzählige in der Nähe. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
Jun 27, 2019Angel replies very quickly which made communication easy. The flat is very centrally located in the city. Flat was very clean and in a very good condition. So delighted that there was a dishwasher! Two bathrooms were great as we stayed with 4 girls in the flat ;) 2 towels each which was a great bonus. The beds were very comfortable and had a great night sleep. When I return to Barcelona, I will book this flat again!
Jun 27, 2019Amazing experience in the center of everything. Very cozy an well designed, a good balance between the original af a 1900's building and the modern elements. We stayed there for 3 days 2 adults and our 2 daughters and had a wonderful time. They "went crazy" (in a good way) when they saw their unique room :) Amazing view of Tibidabo to the left of the balcony and the see to the right The lift was a good surprise when returning after a long day of walking along the city. The only thing is that the apartment is a little bit lack of light.
Jun 27, 2019The place is very well located, fairly central. Walkable distances to just about everything in the centre. Bus/tube links were excellent. Supermarket nearby, lots of cafes and restaurants within easy reach. The communication with the host was good, he responded really quickly and was very helpful. Overall very pleased with our choice and would recommend the apartment to anyone!

Jun 27, 2019Séjour agréable dans un appartement confortable et très bien situé. Seul petit bémol, c'est de n'avoir pu rencontrer notre hôte. Et pour cause, nous avons découvert à l'arrivée que nous n'avions pas réserver auprès d'un particulier mais auprès d'une société de location d'appartement. De fait, ce n'était pas un séjour "comme à la maison" auquel nous sommes habitués via AirnBnB, mais plutôt dans une résidence type appartel, même si l'accueil (disponibilité et présence à l'arrivée d'une personne chargée de notre accueil parlant le français) et l'appartement était de qualité.
Jun 27, 2019It would have been a wonderful holiday, but it was really ruined by two days of construction that happened right outside our door. Don't get me wrong, This place is very beautiful and spacious, even for four people and it is in the center of everything. You can literally walk anywhere. We loved the location. The heater worked great for warm up the room and the beds were very comfortable. It even had a full kitchen But for two days we had hours of drilling and hammering which was heard throughout the apartment. We would wake up to it in the mornings and when we wanted to come back to the afternoon to rest, we couldn't do so. It would have been nice if Angel told us about the construction ahead of time. I have an elderly father who needs his rest in between sightseeing and he was not able to. If we would have known, we would have never stayed here. Angel should have told us once he knew about the construction. When I messaged him about it, he said he knew nothing about it and was going to ask the neighbor. I spoke to a neighbor and the construction has been going on for quite some time. He never responded to me after that. He just ignored me, did not even apologize From the little things such as no soap in the dispenser, and lack of hot water, to the major construction, we felt neglected, which is not the normal air bnb experience. I have stayed in dozens of places and it was a bummer when we had this beautiful apartment but couldn't enjoy it. I rarely right negative reviews, like ever! Don't get me wrong the place is beautiful but the construction was a huge imposition and the overall hosting was lacking.

La chambre avec les deux lits simples donne sur l’arrière de l’immeuble et elle est donc bien plus au calme

The perfect location within walking distance from a lot of shopping and restaurants, close to the subway -- you really feel like you are in the middle of things. One thing no one really mentioned that I thought was a huge plus is that the two bedrooms each have a bathroom either in the bedroom or right outside and they are located on opposite ends of the apartament separated by a nice size living room -- Couples or friends can feel they have their own part of the apartment

Jun 27, 2019Casa: Le camere hanno rifiniture molto piacevoli e particolari, i sono letti comodi tuttavia il divano letto nella zona soggiorno è un po’ basso. Una camera ha due materassi singoli che si possono unire facilmente, l’altra invece un letto matrimoniale e bagno in camera, il divano letto in soggiorno, invece, quando aperto diventa un letto matrimoniale. I bagni sono molto moderni tuttavia al momento non hanno una chiusura interna, questo potrebbe essere un problema se si soggiorna fra amici. Uno dei due dispone di una piccola finestra, l’altro invece di un aspiratore d’aria. La cucina presentava il piano cottura ad induzione lesionato ma funzionante. Fornita di lavastoviglie, microonde, forno, lavatrice e altri strumenti nonché di stoviglie e kit di pulizia. La temperatura interna è gradevole, l’appartamento dispone di climatizzazione centralizzata tuttavia gli infissi sono molto vecchi e lasciano passare un po’ d’aria. Il palazzo è molto antico ma è tenuto in maniera decente, l’appartamento si trova al quinto piano ma la struttura è munita di ascensore (fuori servizio per un giorno durante la nostra permanenza). L’appartamento è soleggiato, ha due piccoli balconi ai quali è possibile accedere dalla zona soggiorno e da una delle camere, l’altra camera invece ha una piccola finestra. L’appartamento è sufficientemente pulito. Posizione: Ottima! A circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla Rambla e da Plaça de Catalunya. Circa 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata Universitat della metro e solo 2 minuti dalla fermata dell’autobus. In zona ci sono alcuni market tra cui Carrefour Express a circa 100 metri e la via in cui si trova offre alcuni cafè, birrerie e piccoli ristoranti aperti fino a mezzanotte. Il sabato sera la via è affollata di ragazzi e i locali chiudono un po’ più tardi. L’entrata del palazzo si trova accanto ad un parcheggio che potrebbe essere molto comodo nel caso in cui si decide di noleggiare un’auto (anche se noi non lo abbiamo fatto, i mezzi pubblici funzionano molto bene), consiglio il carnet di biglietti T10 (10 biglietti per bus e metro al costo di 10,20€ acquistabile nelle stazioni metro) piuttosto che acquistare i biglietti direttamente sul bus in quanto questi costano 2,20€. A mio avviso la casa è perfetta per due coppie di adulti oppure per una famiglia fino a sei persone. Consiglio vivamente questo appartamento.
Jun 27, 2019L'appartamento e' grande, ben arredato e fornito, sito al piano alto (con ascensore) di una casa d'epoca. Oltre al comodo soggiorno con divano, ha 2 camere da letto con 2 bagni annessi. Ottima la posizione nel bel quartiere Example, comoda alle fermate di metro (Universitat) e bus. Vicino all'angolo della strada c'e' un minimarket fornito di tutto. Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati molto bene.
Jun 27, 2019The flat was in a fantastic location! We basically walked everywhere every day that we hardly needed to use the metro. Space wise, it was larger than the pictures showed - having two bathrooms was a huge bonus! We loved the view from the balcony as well, beautiful Spanish balconies opposite you, and on clear days you could see Tibidabo on the left. Check in was a breeze, Angel couldn’t make it but he made sure to get a friend’s help to meet us and show us around. The feedback we would suggest is to look into giving guests an extra set of towel if they are staying long, as well as cleaning the floor more thoroughly. It felt a little sandy/gritty to us when we arrived. Perhaps it was the nature of the tiles, or our habit of taking shoes off in homes (Angel’s friend mentioned we can just leave our shoes on) - or both - but in any case, we easily found some cleaning supplies on the balcony to mop the floor, and all was good after.

The location was perfect, and we were able to walk or take the metro to wherever we wanted to go very easily. The apartment itself was clean and modern, and the beds were decently comfortable. We also enjoyed the balcony! Angel was a very helpful and responsive host. His friend met us on the day we checked in and allowed us to drop off our luggage early. I would highly recommend this apartment for a group planning a trip to Barcelona!

Everything you need except: hand wash , shampoo conditioner body moisturiser (if you are weekenders) detergent if cleaning clothes. Absolutely quiet as well even though in middle of town

Jun 27, 2019Great place in a great location for getting around central Barcelona. Angel left some awesome food recommendations but the neighborhood has lots to offer so you can’t go wrong. The street itself is quiet but within 5 minutes of walking there are bars and restaurants. As for the apartment, perfect amount of space for a small group - we were four people - with all the amenities one could need. I highly recommend Angel’s place!!

Would have been nice to have a few basic pantry items to cook with but all in all was a very enjoyable stay. Check-In could have been smoother as we had to wait for host to arrive with all our bags on the sidewalk, but it worked out in the end.

Jun 27, 2019How to make a good stay great... the key is this place. It's convenient location is the standout, near shops, public transport and cultural highlights. The appartment is equipped to comfortably sleep 4 people. We were a family of 5 so one had to sleep on the sofa bed which wasn't the best for comfort but the two bathrooms and toilets made it comfortable for 5. Overall, a great place which we would consider re-booking when next in Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Angel's apartment is fabulous. It's very stylish with original floors, it's almost on the top level of the building so you get a nice view of the street and trees below you. If you have heavy or awkward suitcases, there is a small elevator. Once we had ours in the apartment we just used the stairs. The place is not big but works very well. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment so you have a bit of privacy. The mattresses are very comfortable too, which is great as often when we rent through airbnb they are old and sink in the middle. It is centrally located, close to the metro line. There are also lots of good shops nearby too. There are plenty of bakeries/cafes just around the block if you want to grab something for breakfast. Angel also left some recommendations on restaurants and things to do. He highly recommended La Flauta for dinner, we tried to go twice (1st night the line up was too long, second night was closed due to public holiday) and we finally succeeded on the 3rd night. You must eat there. The tapas were the best we had in Spain all for a reasonable place. Get there early or be prepared to wait. On the recommendations sheet, he warned us that the Gothic area has lots of pick pockets spots to be careful. We ended up going and witnessed someone getting pick pocketed. We would highly recommend Angel's place.

Jun 27, 2019We were 2 couples staying for 5 nights at Angel’s apartment. Perfect size for 4 and bedrooms and shower rooms at opposite ends. I like that we could slide a door at the back of apartment to make a more private area for 2nd bedroom and shower room. The location was excellent and close to bars, restaurants, mini supermarkets, city centre and metro stop just around the corner (L1&L3). The stairs and lift were well lit at night. Another bonus was we had 2 sets of keys. Only slight negatives were the WiFi not being very good, the pillows could have done with being replaced and it was s but noisy in the front bedroom due to road adjacent to our street. Otherwise the apartment was excellent and the balcony and original features were wonderful. I especially liked standing with a coffee in the mornings taking in the views from the balcony. Would go again.

Communication before our trip was excellent and the check-in very easy. The traffic noise in the front bedroom is quite loud but that is a small price to pay for such a central location. The local recommendations were great. We would highly recommend the apartment!

Jun 27, 2019We had a fabulous stay! Angel was a great host - accommodating and very responsive - and, the space was clean and provided everything we needed as a family of 4. The location was terrific as well. We walked A LOT and also did opt for the bus when our feet got tired at the end of the night. The stops were very convenient to home base. We were quite affected by the time change so it was so welcomed to have a lazy morning and breakfast in. We highly recommend!

Хозяин оперативно привёз на следующий день обогреватели. Единственное на следующий день стало выбивать электричество ((( совет такой если едите зимой лучше заранее просить обогреватели . Расположение прекрасное до центра 5 мин

There was just one thing that we were not satisfied with – low temperature in flat, the apartment was really cold (we stayed there in January). It was quite an issue as our group included 2 kids. It took all night to warmed the apartment up. Just recommendation - would be good to turn on electric radiators few hours before the visitors arrival. Finally, we would really recommend this place.
