Everything went smoothly from the booking to checking in and checking out. Anchalika was very responsive to questions. This part of HK is one of my favorites, so close to good restaurants and bars and the subway is not too far away. The flat itself was spacious, clean and had everything I needed, especially coffee!
Jun 27, 2019After a climb of stairs, we're welconed with spacious, comfortable, well-decorated room. Really enjoy staying here since it's close to restaurants, cafe, and bars. Anchalica is very responsive and giving accurate information about her place. This place worths it.
Jun 27, 2019Anchalika’s place is great and she is a wonderful host! She is very helpful and super quick with communication and she kept in touch throughout my stay to make sure everything was alright. Her flat is clean, comfortable and in a perfect location, walk-able to many exciting sights and places, cafés, restaurants, MTR, tram, etc., in the lovely areas of Sheung Wan, Sai Ying Pun, Soho, Central and beyond. I really appreciated Anchalika arranging to meet with me in advance of check-in with the keys, immediately offering an iron for my work shirts, and to leave my bag until the next guest arrived. Jun 27, 2019Clean, quiet apartment, exactly as pictured. It has everything you need for a weekend or longer stay. Location is amazing, public transport and several tourist sites nearby, and great coffee places only steps away. Check-in was easy and friendly. Just a reminder, apartment is in the 3rd floor without elevator, but wasn’t an issue for us. We would definitely return!
Jun 27, 2019Anchalika’s flat is in a great location - it’s walkable to lots of nice restaurants and cafes and close to public transport. The flat is exactly as pictured and is clean and quiet. We didn’t meet Anchalika but she gave us all the information we needed and kept in touch with us throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time in HK and would definitely stay at Anchalika’s flat again!

Jun 27, 2019The location of Anchalika’s flat is perfect, less than 5 mn walk from the vibrant area of Soho, and the MTR station of Sheung Wan is less than 10mn walk. The flat is cosy, bright and quiet, you will feel like at home ! But you’ll have to walk up 3 floors, not so easy with a big luggage ... Anchalika was very responsive and flexible for the check out. I highly recommend Anchalika’s flat !

Jun 27, 2019the apetment is lovely and well decorated, and the location is perfect. but please be noted there is no lift in the building and the lighting is quite bad in the stairs, so sometimes it will be a bit hard to walk up the stairs especially at night since it it quite dark
Jun 27, 2019Anchalika’s flat was really stylish, cozy and very clean. Location is ideal and there are tons of restaurants around. Any issues I had were dealt with very quickly, and I would definitely stay here again! The only minor downside was the stairway outside, as it was very dusty and some areas were completely dark. However, it is understandable that this may be out of the control of the host and is rather the fault of the building’s management. Overall, my stay was very pleasant and I would not hesitate to book Anchalika’s place again :)

Jun 27, 2019Anchalika's apartment is in a great location, handy for Hollywood Road shops bars and restaurants. it's also within 10 minutes walk of MTR, buses and trams. attractively furnished, well equipped very clean. communication was quick and Anchalika was always helpful. Although she does say there are a lot of stairs, be aware that there are 67 of them. if you have heavy bags and/or are less fit and able, you might struggle. overall a very enjoyable stay.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Anchalika's apartment for 4 nights and it was an excellent choice. The location is fantastic. It is a short walk to the MTR station and the ferry terminal for Macau. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. Check in and out was easy too with Anchalika responding to us really quickly. Restaurants that were great nearby - Little Bao, Mrs. Pound and Pici. Would definitely stay here again.

Host was very responsive leading up to and during our stay, great experience all around - would recommend booking to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price relative to hotels on the island.

Jun 27, 2019My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay at this place, the location is absolutely perfect. 15 mins walk and you are in the heart of central so everything was very convenient. There are also a lot of cute cafes and shops near the flat, including some great breakfast places. Flat was clean and we also used the kitchen. Overall highly recommend.

Jun 27, 2019The house may not look best but the apartment definitely is (bed is very comfortable). Please prepare to walk the stairs (3 floors) but on the other hand you need to walk the stairs in Hong Kong as well ;) Generally great location - you are really in the middle of Hong Kong in the walking distance to everything you might need (incl. some great restaurants different price range and public transportation). Would love to come back! :)
Jun 27, 2019The Building is very old with no lift and there are no light on stair, also the stair always wet and slip. so there very dark and dangerous at night. About the house, the bed sheet isn't clean and there are a bit noisy. And the checkout time is a bit early at 10AM... But interior is looks good , same as photo! And the location is nearly mtr.

Bring earplugs if you plan on napping in the afternoon due to jetlag - there was seemingly perpetual construction going on nearby throughout the day (mostly just during daylight working hours). Some of the reviews mentioned concern about dark stairwells - there were lights that automatically went on when we passed them during our stay. The neighborhood feels safe. Recommend Classified nearby if you're craving a Western meal after a few days :)

Jun 27, 2019The property was clean and centeredly located on Hong Kong island with easy access to MTR and restaurants. However, because the location is located in a crowded space in busy Hong Kong, there was loud construction in the early mornings to late afternoon during my stay.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Anchalika's place in Sheung Wan for three weeks in January 2019 and enjoyed it thoroughly. The flat is immaculate (especially the bathroom) and quite spacious considering it's location on Hong Kong Island. Anchalika is very quick to respond to questions and always solution-oriented with any issues that develop. I highly recommend this property.
Jun 27, 2019This is a lovely one bed apartment. Very good amenities inside, in a fabulous location, bars and cafes all around, and more traditional style Sheung Wan below, very close to MTR. There are only steps up to the third floor and also in the street below.

Jun 27, 2019Really good location in a very old building, there’s no lift so you have to climb up the stairs for about three floors but it was not a problem for us. It’s about 5 minutes walk from mtr station and about 10-15 minutes to central. The place is really nice and cozy, the best thing I like about it is the toilet. It’s really clean and comfortable!

Jun 27, 2019Unit as described on the inside and I enjoyed my stay. Very good location. For those that are not as familiar with HK do note that this unit is in a small and old building with no elevators. There was also construction next to to the building during early March which is fairly loud during work hours Monday to Saturday.
