I'll be happy to inform you about restaurants, bars and places to visit. It is a very central but quiet neighborhood. Typical Bolhão market is very close, as is the city hall and Rua Santa Catarina, the main shopping street, which also houses the charming Majestic Café (you shouldn't miss the Belle Epoque atmosphere). Excelent transport

Overall lots of downsides! Up on arrival the lifts were not working, so we had to take all our luggage and the 2 babies up the stairs (it did not work through our entire stay). The apartment still smell of paint which is very bad!! The shower has no pressure if you use the hot water, it’s very cold in Porto so having a shower was a nightmare. From the 2 second day onwards there was no internet, so we had to go to cafes to do any work needed. The host was great in the beginning helping us with a crib but did not do anything to fix the internet. The place is missing lots of things, there was no kettle, no wine opener, no plates... basic things. Good location but the place is a big let down.
