The apartment is simple and comfortable, perfect for families with children, a couple, businesspeople, and provides a genuine local experience.

The apartment is on the first floor of the building and can accommodate up to four persons. It has one independent bedroom with double-bed, a living room with a small balcony overlooking the main pedestrian street Santa Catarina, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette, a sofa that can be turned into a comfortable bed to accommodate two people, a table for meals, air-conditioning as well as other amenities. A baby cot can be pro-vided upon request.

Neighborhood Overview
Our neighbourhood is in the most central area of Porto and near to the most emblematic landmarks of Porto. Casa Oliveira is just few meters away from the iconic Café Majestic, the famous Bolhão market, 300 me-ters away from the Torre dos Clérigos, Avenida dos Aliados, famous li-brary Lello and just few minutes’ walk from the Bolhão Metro Station that connects the Porto airport with the city centre. In our neighbourhood you will find best viewpoints, churches, shopping ar-eas, squares, nightspots and lots of gastronomic choices. Here you will feel the true spirit of this city!

Apartamento charmoso , bem no coracao do Porto na rua Santa Cataria proximo de tudo : restaurantes, supermercado, lojas, cafes, padarias, metro, bancos etc etc! Jun 27, 2019The flat is in a great location close to everything on the main tourist street Santa Catarina. It can be a little noisy but the new windows are quiet soundproof.

Jun 27, 2019My family and I stayed at Jovita and Alexandra's AirBNB for a week. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The space was clean and I was able to cook some meals from the home. It is centrally located - a very quick walk to several famous sites and lots of restaurants and cafes. You should get gelato from the chocolate shop across the street! The apartment is also in the middle of all the shopping. Thanks for everything Jovita and Alexandra
Jun 27, 2019Our host Jovita greeted us on arrival with welcome port and gave us lots of recommendations. We visited two of the suggested restaurants and they were fantastic. She was welcoming and informative and very quick to respond to any questions throughout the trip. The apartment was clean, modern and had everything we needed - iron, hair dryer, cooking utensils, TV, air conditioning and plenty of clean towels. Having a fridge also meant we could buy food and drink and use it throughout the stay. The flat was perfectly located for what we wanted, right in the centre of the town, we spent most of the trip out exploring so it was really handy to have a base so central. However if you are looking for somewhere with peace and quiet then this apartment is not for you as the shops bring a fair amount of people and noise. The apartment building its self also had guests come and go a fair bit so we were woken up in the night a few times by other noisy guests. Overall we had s brilliant time and I would definitely recommend staying there if a central, convenient base is what you are looking for. A great stay :)

Très bien situé pour un week-end de 3-4 jours, Jovita nous a accueillie avec un petit verre de Porto et nous a très vite mises à l'aise ! Très bonne communication avec les hôtes et petit havre de paix très chaleureux ! Propre et fonctionnel !

Jun 27, 2019Location is key and this AirBnb is at the heart of Porto on Santa Catarina. It is in walking distance to Sao Bento station. We did not have a car as we walked everywhere in this beautiful city. The flat itself had all the basic amenities (including air conditioning) and was very clean. It was fairly loud due to its location on a busy street, but the noise did quiet down considerably after 23:00. Overall, we highly recommend Jovita and Alexandra’s place for future visitors!

Jun 27, 2019This is a lovely apartment right in the city centre. The street can be noisy at night but you can close the shutters and the air-conditioning will help if you do need to do this. The location is perfect just 5 minutes from a metro station. We had a great week here and would definitely return.
Jun 27, 2019The location of the accommodation is perfect! It is located right in the centre of porto, directly in the shopping street. You can reach everything by foot in a few minutes. The accommodation is a bit smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it is still enough place for two people. It has everything needed for a short stay in porto. The only thing, which was a bit disturbing for us at night, was that the accommodation is badly soundproofed. The steps and words spoken on the floor and in the other accommodations appear very loud. Nevertheless we recommend the accommodation because of its great location.
Jun 27, 2019Casa Poeta is a perfect location for a visit to Porto. A modern well equipped apartment in a historic house on buzzing Santa Caterina. It is in easy walking distance of Metro, Rail station, and all of historic Porto. Jovita was a most considerate and helpful host.
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay in Jovita's apartment. It is in the perfect location for exploring Porto and everything we needed was around us. The apartment is right on the busiest shopping street and just up from the historical cafe majestic. Whilst it is bustling during the day at night times it was surprisingly quiet. Couldn't fault our host at all... clean and comfortable place to stay, even greater with port on our arrival
Jun 27, 2019Had a great stay at Casa do Poeta on Rua Santa Catarina pedestrian street. We were right in the middle of all the energy of Porto. Safe, within walking distance to most sights and fabulous Gelato shop next door. We were met by a friend of the host on check-in, no recommendations for the city or restaurants but found a brochure on the table. It was good to have air conditioning in the apartment as it was hot during the visit. There was a coffee maker but the carafe was broken so we had to go out to the café in the morning. Good cozy place for a home base to explore the city.

Jun 27, 2019Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung ist toll gelegen - direkt in der Fußgängerzone. Trotzdem ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig und man hört nichts von draußen. Die Wohnung war super sauber und es war alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Einchecken war problemlos, auch obwohl wir erst spät vor Ort waren. Es gab tollen Portwein zur Begrüßung. Wir würden diese Wohnung immer wieder buchen und hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Great sleeps & a great shower . Make sure to take her advice on restaurant recommendations ... they were top notch .
Jun 27, 2019the place is nice but immediately above a shop that has its speakers in the ceiling so there is loud shop music to be heard in the flat from 10 am to 8 pm all the time without any break. the shop was also open on sunday so we had this annoying music everyday of our stay. apart from that it’s a great place to stay but the loud music is a deal breaker.
