We only stayed 2 nights but it was a great stay. The Hosts, Joe & Michelle, are very kind, helpful and gave us great tips for our trip. The house has been completely renovated with everything you would need. We definetely recommend it. Thanks again

This was an amazing place. It's away from tourism. Michelle and Joe are amazing hosts. They have tons of information about Hawaii. They exceeded every single one of my expectations.

The hosts provided incredibly warm hospitality, a beautiful home on a well-landscaped property located close to the ocean. We feasted on wonderful breakfasts including fresh fruit, waffles and coffee. We enjoyed lovely evenings on the screened-in porch watching shows on a big screen TV. We went bicycling along the ocean. An extraordinary time - would return in a heartbeat!

Very nice room and a beautiful house. Our host Michelle was incredibly sweet, and offered us breakfast and coffee, and freshly baked bread! Unfortunately we had to leave really early the next morning to keep exploring, since we only had a few days left to get around the Island and hit all the places we wanted to see ( south point, green sands, Punaluu etc.) but I definitely recommend Michelle and her lovely home to anyone that wants to explore Puna side from a great location. Plus she lives down by the cliffs which is a couple minutes to drive or walk, and it has the most beautiful spot to see the sunrise. Also her dog is adorable!!

My fiancé and I needed a last minute place to stay in Hilo and we made the right choice staying with Michelle and her husband. They were exceptional hosts, the house was spotless and we loved their little dog as well! definitely would stay again!

For us, this place was what a BnB should be. Very friendly hosts with enthusiasm for the island and for sharing their experience of being a host (we are considering doing our own AirBnB and had questions). Very new space. We stayed in 5 places in five nights in Hawaii, and this was the best.

Great place to stay while visiting Hilo or the Vulcano area! Michelles home is in a countryside area minutes from the coastline, about 50 min drive from the vulcano and 20 min from Hilo. Michelle and her partner are both very kind and hospitable, its also clean, all in all a great airbnb!

Michelle and Joe are a great couple to have host you and there guestroom is a great value for be your vacation stay. They opened their and and home to us, and I would recommend a stay to anyone. They are super friendly and fun to stay with. They get you going with a tasty local breakfast in the morning, and they are very knowledgeable about their area and Big Island. A great base if you're talking in the Hilo side of the island, and they are at most 2hrs from nearly everything you can do on Big Island. There house is away from the busy strip and the starts shine at night. They are two blocks from on of my favorite places on big island, Maku'u Point. You should catch a sunrise there. They are also just a short drive from, Rainbow Falls, Makaka Falls, Isaac Hale Black Sand Beach, and the new lava flow from 2018. Anything we needed they were happy to help with, and a good balance of respecting your privacy. And don't let Michelle like to you about her baking skills, she makes great bread.

The house is beautiful and nestled in the woods. The bed is very comfortable and the daily necessities are complete. The breakfast is very rich, the hostess will make fresh bread, take care of us very carefully, the male owner is humorous, patiently introduce the big island attractions, and we get along with family like a few days. Living here can get close to Americans. recommend!

This was my first time traveling alone AND utilizing Airbnb for only a private room within a resident occupied home. Michelle & Joe were such nice people and really great hosts. They made it very comfortable and were always keen to share tips about visiting the island. I even used one of their bikes for a spectacular early-morning ride. Their property within Hawaiian Paradise was beautiful and cottage-like, very clean and spacious... and very close to the ocean. Just a quick 5 minute drive up to the main highway will get you going towards many attractions on this island. At night, fall asleep to the subtle sounds of nature, wild life and crashing waves - it was really really nice (I am a light-sleeper and I slept very well here). I would stay here again. Mahalo, Michelle & Joe!
