Please treat this home as it is yours. Keep it organized, acceptable clean, discard the garbage, wash your dishes, care about the utensils. Cleaning fees doesn't include discarding the trash you produced during the stay or washing your dishes. Extra fees may be applied when you are leaving it unclean. Keep feet clear from sand every time you get back from the beach. At the feet washer area, next to the building gate. Let me know if anything is broken, always. The refrigerator will have some snacks and beverages. Feel free to use it and feel free to contribute with new ones. It's only allowed to sleep in the apartment the quantity of persons agreed by the reservation. Respect the neighbors. Please read my email with instructions. This place is really nice! I needed a relaxing weekend and that`s really what I got. The apartment is comfy and clean. Kitchen and shower worked great. I felt safe. Every time I entered the building I could see a screen with images of all the floors and the door man was there all the time. The place is really well located and close to the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. It was just a matter of deciding wether turning left or right after leaving the building to get very quickly to one or another beach. I had not problems finding food, market, a restaurant or getting a taxi (there`s a lot of them passing in front the building all the time). Rodrigo was very helpful with some information I needed. I would recommend and I would come back to stay at the place.

The appartment is perfect located between Copacabana and Ipanema, the next metro station is a 5 minutes walk away. You find everything you need in this appartment and its very clean! We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

I enjoy my stay there so much, that it was pity to leave it. It was clean as well and it was absolutely nothing missing there. Roddy was a great host and very friendly too. Jun 27, 2019Ótimo apartamento, muito bem equipado e arejado. Cama confortável, chuveiro bom e eletrodomésticos funcionando perfeitamente. Bem localizado, perto da praia, da estação de metrô, ponto de ônibus, mercados, restaurantes... O anfitrião sempre muito atencioso, esclareceu todas nossas dúvidas. Tudo exatamente como a descrição do site. Recomendamos à todos. A cidade é maravilhosa, sem dúvidas voltaremos.
Jun 27, 2019Location is excellent between two beaches, close to bars, market and stores. Public transport is just across the building (if you are brave enough to use it :), just kidding it is safe. Kitchen is small but very well maintained and everything is there for you to cook. Shower is also very well maintained. The only thing that did not work well for me was AC. Maybe because it was +38 that day and I did not set it to full power... so if there is no other complains about AC than I guess it is just me who wrongly operated it :) The best of all is communication with host. Rodrigo is highly responsive and helpful. I have forgot USB cable in apartment and he organized pick up time for me. Thanks Rody for nice stay.

Jun 27, 2019What I like about this place were the details. All these little things that make a place feel like home. A bowl of peanut M&Ms and an Alfajor (cookie) was waiting when I arrived. A coffee machine with a stock of capsules. A fridge with some water and beers. Rodrigo said I could use anything that's in the apartment! (OK, I replenished the water, but it was great to have it there to begin with). He even left his longboard and said I could use it whenever I want for rides along the beaches (which are a very short walk by the way). Other cool things: - TV has cable as well as an Apple TV box with a Netflix. House of cards season 3 was just released when I was here and was able to see it all in a weekend binge. - A portable speaker to play music - etc etc It just seems like Rodrigo is the rare AirBnb host that not only wants to make money off of his property but actually cares for people to have a good time. I had a great experience here and love this place. In fact, I'm writing this review from within the apartment - I extended my booking by another week (and then have to leave). Highly recommended.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment was small but the appliances are all top notch. (Coffee is king and I'm glad Rodrigo feels the same way:). We're sorry we weren't met by Rodrigo but after a bit of reading and a few questions we were well acquainted with the working of everything. The location of the apartment is GREAT. Safe and ideal for a good time spent in Rio. Rodrigo is a lovely host, attentive and very responsive. He has a lovely and polite manner and always willing to help. Thanks Rodrigo we really appreciate everything.
Jun 27, 2019O apartamento é bem aconchegante, decorado, confortável, servido de bons aparelhos, limpo, organizado. Fomos bem recepcionados com alguns pequenos mimos e ainda por cima havia a disposição alguns produtos de consumo para nosso conforto. Não houve nenhum problema durante nossa estada de 7 dias, e o proprietário é prestativo, nos deixou dicas da região e do RJ e sempre respondeu dúvidas que tivemos durante o período. Voltando ao rio certamente nos hospedaríamos novamente no local, e recomendamos sem dúvidas aos demais viajantes!
Jun 27, 2019I enjoyed every minute of the month spent at Rodrigo's place,and even though we never met, I felt he was my guardian angel throughout the time spent there.Very responsive and kind via numerous text messages and emails, he left a well-stocked fridge and every household item one might need on a holiday. Despite being located in a huge building,the studio is very quiet and cosy, and the location perfect half-way between Ipanema and Copacabana. The internet and Apple TV worked perfectly,so did the shower and the air-conditioning. Only one thing I would change is the big double-bed,which takes a lot of space in the middle of the room. I would replace it with a foldable sofa bed. But that is just a detail, everything else was perfect. Thank you Rodrigo for contributing to make my holiday in beautiful Rio a memorable one! :-)
Jun 27, 2019We went to Rio for our honeymoon!We had a really nice time in Rodrigo's apartment, everything was perfect... He helped as with everything, from making our programm with the tours we wanted, even where to eat best! I have to say he was really helpfull!!! The only thing i have to mention, we didn't like, that the air conditioning is more like a fan but off course i have to say that the apartment was fully equipped as a house, he had everything we needed or not!!! Thanks for everything Rodrigo!!!

Jun 27, 2019I absolutely loved staying here! It was home for about 8 days to my mom and myself and we both were very comfortable and happy here. Rodrigo is an amazing host. He is always attentive to your needs and has in place so many amenities that you will not find elsewhere. From the decor to the snacks he leaves to welcome guests, Rodrigo really works hard to provide the most welcoming and cozy experience for his guests. The bed is very comfortable and easily sleeps two. If you feel like watching TV while you rest, Rodrigo also has tons of options for you to watch what you want (cable, AppleTV, Chromecast - all of which we used at one point or another lol). We were there in July, so it was even cool enough not to need the A/C. We kept the window open and the fan on at night and during the day and we still felt very cool. The location of the studio is also ideal. We walked every day less than 10 minutes each way to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and the walks were always very pleasant. Getting transportation around town was also a breeze! There are so many taxis and buses that pass by even just across the street and the metro station is very close-by as well. On top of that there are tons of little shops, restaurants and farmers' markets, all again within walking distance. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want to be in a nice, quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. I already know I will be back here the next time I go to Rio :)
Jun 27, 2019Seriously this appartment is perfect. The host is perfect as well. Rodrigo made us feel at home in his cozy flat. He send us PLENTY of informations regardings nearby tours and functionning of the appartment. The check in was smooth. Rodrigo has accomodated us when my flight was cancelled and offered to stay and extra night for us not to loose our money. The appartment itself was very located. Two steps aways from the metro and with a bunch of buses passing right in front. The neighborhood is very safe and 2 steps away from the beach. The flat was super clean and had everything you needed inside. Upon our arrival the fridge was full of snack, drinks and water bottles, which is a major perk after a 20 hours trip from Canada! :) I've travelled a lot with airbnb and this experience is without a doubt one of the best. Besser hätten wir es nicht treffen können. Wir waren eine knappe Woche hier und haben uns von "unserem" Apartment und dieser wunderbaren Stadt nur schwer getrennt. Jun 27, 2019Everything was done perfectly, all infos given by Rodrigo were very helpfull. The studio was exactly like pictures and as situated on back of building, the nights were very calm. Situated close to both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches we could enjoy quickly the ocean. We highly recommand this place. Little remark about very little kitchen, difficult to cook dinners but doable with some imaginations, eh eh. Thanks to Rodrigo, wonderfull host.
Jun 27, 2019Great stay in Rio, the apartment is in a perfect location Copacabana beach and buses to Corcovado and Pao de Acucar. High standard security in the bulding and comfortable place. Roddy is a wonderful host providing us everything we could need during our stay. When I come back to Rio that's the place where I'd like to be.
Jun 27, 2019Roddy is an amazing host. Before to arrive, he had already answered to many questions about what to do, where to go, always very fast ! The apartment is exactly like described, in a very secured building (1 or 2 doormen always there). You can't have a better location to enjoy Rio : 5 minutes from Copacabana and 10 minutes from Ipanema. Then we took a lot the buses to go everywhere. I would for sure come back to Roddys apartment if possible !

Il a toujours été disponible très rapidement via le site Airbnb, mail ou sms. Le logement était conforme à la description donnée dans le site. Clair, idéalement situé pour nous, à 2 pas ( pas plus ) d'Ipanéma et Copacabana. Appartement très propre, idéal pour 2 , rempli de commodités. Un grand merci à Rodrigo . Nous ne manquerons pas de le recontacter quand nous reviendrons à RIO. Nous recommandons cette location !
Jun 27, 2019Rodrigo's apartment was a private oasis away from home! He truly went out of his way to ensure I had the most comfortable and enjoyable stay possible. Perfect for one person or a couple, Roddy's space has everything you need (and more!) and is located in one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Rio, with easy access to both Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
Jun 27, 2019I highly recommend Roddy as a host. We really enjoyed Rio in this apartment. It was better than we expect. We felt like in home since we arrived and find a great welcome made by him. I've never seen a studio so CLEAN and well organised . You can find whatever you want and need in the apartment because Roddy thought in everything. A plus is the big tv to watch a movie, it is like a cinema in bed. Also it is well located and has a lot of security in the building. And you have a lots of options to move in public transportation ( to get to Corcovado, sugar loaf, Sao Corado, Barra da Tijuca, downtown) Thanks for all Roddy!!

It is full of details, the bed is really comfortable, strong wifi and Rodrigo is always available for everything. For sure every time I will come back in Rio I will stay in this perfect, cozy, beautiful apartment!

It was very nice of him to check up on me to see how I was doing. The restaurants he recommended was really good. I, myself would definitely recommend anybody to stay at Roddy's place. His apartment is so comfortable!
Jun 27, 2019This apartment was absolutely perfect for our purposes. Its proximity to major landmarks and beaches meant that we rarely had to use public transport or taxis. Rodrigo provided skateboards which were a perfect mode of transportation for visiting Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. The kitchen meant that we didn't have to eat out every night and saved us a lot of money as well. Also, since the apartment is right next to the South America hotel and various banks, we had easy access to tours and all the amenities of a resort with the authentic feel of living in the city as a real Carioca. Rodrigo was always very quick to respond to any and all messages and had the apartment waiting for us in beautiful condition, being greeted with sweets and various helpful guides to a perfect vacation in Rio. Book this BnB asap if you are coming to this beautiful city, it is by far the nicest and most convenient listing we have been able to find.

Jun 27, 2019We had a perfect stay at Roddy´s studio. He is a very nice guy thinking about everything what his guests might need and even we didn´t met in person, he was asking regularly if we have a good time and whether we don´t need anything. The best thing was that all instructions given by him and found in the apartment were very clear and accurate so his guests (especially after the long travel) can feel comfortable and safe from the first minutes. Also the recommendations (what to see, where to eat) given by Roddy were great. Even though this beautifully decorated studio is small, it has everything a solo traveler or a couple might need, is very clean and in good condition and is furnished with all necessary appliances. We really didn´t miss anything and felt like at home. The location is the best you can imagine, very near both to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Thank you for a great stay !!!
Jun 27, 2019El departamento es tal cual la descripción y mucho mas. Supero altamente mis expectativas. Rodrigo fue un anfitrión excelente siempre atento y dispuesto a evacuar mis preguntas. A mi llegada estaba todo muy limpio y super ordenado con todo lo necesario para una estadía optima. Realmente es un lugar para recomendar. El barrio es muy seguro y cerca de las playas tanto de Copacabana como de Ipanema, también se podía acceder al transporte público rápidamente sin complicaciones. EL wifi funcionó excelentemente así como la tv smart. Seguramente volveré y recomendare a mis amigos. Saludos.
Jun 27, 2019Rodrigo's apartment was really perfect for my last trip to Rio for the following reasons - perfect location right between Copacabana and Ipanema - code front door lock makes life really easy, no need to bring keys to the beach etc. - safe in the room is a great added benefit - apartment is clean, renovated, cheerful, and comfy - nice big window opens onto an urban view from 6th floor, gives apartment an airy, breezy feel - BEST OF ALL, the place is so quiet and peaceful, especially at night - building does not allow dogs, so you don't feel like your staying in a kennel - Rodrigo is a nice guy, very helpful - all in all, a great stay, the most relaxing time I've had in Rio, highly recomended!!!

Jul 27, 2019What a great apartment! Clean, modern, and spacious. All the comforts of home. We were there for the Olympics. The location was great. 3 minute walk to Metro terminal then on to all venues. A short walk to Copacabana or Ipanema beaches. We enjoyed both. Rodrigo was a wonderful host. I booked almost a year early and he kept in touch the whole time. He made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and made sure all was going well throughout. He offered advice and help. I would recommend Rodrigo and his apartment to all.
Jun 27, 2019My wife and I had an outstanding stay at Rodrigo's apartment. It was just how the pictures showed it and best of all was Rodrigo's support and guidance. You can tell he really cares about his customers and takes care of every detail so that his guests feel at home. The apartment is cozy. It's small, but the location is excellent and convenient. It is well designed and equipped to take advantage of the space. Lastly, he is an excellent communicator responding immediately. I recommend staying at Rodrigo's apartment over a hotel any day.

Jun 27, 2019O apartamento é ótimo em praticamente todos os sentidos, super bem localizado, fica a 3 quarteirões da belíssima praia de Copacabana, e próximo de uma estação de metrô. Muito bem equipado, tinha tudo que eu e minha noiva precisávamos,cozinha completa, secador, tábua de engomar, etc, só nos enrolamos na hora de fazer café =P. A localização, os porteiros 24h, câmeras e fechadura eletrônica passaram segurança. Pelas fotos deu a impressão de ser maior, pelo fato de eu ser grande, muitas vezes não cabíamos os dois num mesmo cômodo (cozinha, banheiro) mas nada que tirasse o conforto e diversão (adorei utilizar os longboards, que o Rodrigo proporcionou, no domingo na avenida de Copacabana) The apartment is great in almost every way, very well located, is 3 blocks from the beautiful Copacabana beach, and close to a subway station. Very well equipped, it had everything me and my fiancee wanted, full kitchen, hairdryer, ironing board, etc, we just mess up in how to make coffee =P. The location, 24h doormen, cameras and electronic door locks passed security. From the pictures seemed to be bigger, because I am tall, we often didn't fit the two in the same room (kitchen, bathroom) but nothing that takes away the comfort and fun of the trip (I loved using longboards, that Rodrigo offered, on Sunday in Copacabana Avenue).

Jun 27, 2019Rodrigo was a perfect host. Everything was super easy and the studio is exactly what I needed. It's the right size, bright and convenient. The toilet blocked and the shower ran cold on occasion but Rodrigo was quick to help out. I highly recommend his studio.

Jun 27, 2019Me and my husband stayed in Rio for a week and Rodrigo’s place was everything that we’re looking for and more. The studio was clean, organized and it seemed like Rod had literally thought of everything that one might need. The kitchen was stocked and ready for the arrival of thirsty travelers, there were M&Ms in a jar to snack on, the bathroom had cute soaps and nice-smelling shampoo. He had written clear instructions on how to use the AC and safe, and we were very happy with the electronic lock on the front door (no need to worry about keys!). He even had longboards and kangas waiting for us in case we wanted to head straight to the beach! The attention to detail in his studio was impressive and everything was done in a way that would make our life easy. He also gave us great tips about local restaurants and bars, many of which we visited. The neighborhood was probably one of the best places to stay in Rio, with bars, restos and two beaches within walking distance. Rodrigo was very responsive the whole time, just a great host altogether! Thanks for having us, we would love to stay with you again when we are in Rio, Rod! You are an exemplary host and and we will recommend your studio to everyone we know :)
Jun 27, 2019Después de haber pasado 14 días en el departamento queremos destacar que el lugar es muy acogedor y nos mejoró aún más unas vacaciones increíblemente hermosas. Nos parece importante resaltar varios puntos: *La ubicación es muy buena porque permite un acceso súper directo y seguro hacia las playas de Copacabana, Ipanema y Arpoador. Al estar a algo menos de dos cuadras de la avenida Nuestra Señora de Copacabana es muy silencioso y no se escucha el tránsito de estas grandes avenidas. Por otra parte, el barrio es muy seguro por la noche y hay lugares fantásticos muy cerca para comer casi a cualquier hora. *El edificio es silencioso, los vecinos son muy respetuosos y dentro del departamento no se sienten olores de la cocina de otros habitantes ni que provengan del exterior. *El interior es muy acogedor, está súper equipado, tiene aire acondicionado, ventilador, calentador de toallas, heladera, un anafe eléctrico para cocinar, microondas, cafetera, minipimer, pava eléctrica y una batería de cocina súper completa. La única crítica que se le puede hacer a la cocina es que es un poco chiquita y a veces resulta complejo moverse ahí dentro. *Tiene una cama muy cómoda que está bien ubicada frente a un TV alucinante donde se puede reposar después de un día de playa. *Dispusimos siempre de juegos de sábanas y toallas nuevos y limpios. *El baño tiene mampara, espejos y bidet. *Pudimos salir sin llaves y totalmente tranquilos gracias al sistema de seguridad de la puerta. *Recargamos la tarjeta del metro que nos dejaste y nos desplazamos sin problemas. *Todo funciona correctamente, no tuvimos ningún contratiempo. *Por último, Rodrigo nos respondió con toda amabilidad antes de contratar, luego de la reserva y estuvo disponible también durante nuestra estadía, lo que nos dio mucha tranquilidad. Desde el primer minuto hasta el último disfrutamos de dos semanas de placer en este departamento impecable y bien decorado, como se ve en las fotos, lo que nos hizo sentir como en casa. Y una vez allá descubrimos que podríamos haber ido solo con malla, ojotas y algo de ropa, porque encontramos todo lo demás: secador de pelo, paraguas, pareos, sombreros, plancha e incluso algunos artículos de perfumería. Para quienes vayan a Río, les contamos que hay wifi gratis en el aeropuerto Galeao y se pueden pedir un Uber que cuesta unos 45 reales hasta el departamento o bien pueden tomarse el bus 2018 (también llamado Frescao) por 15 reales por persona, en la puerta misma del aeropuerto, que los deja a media cuadra del departamento. Por todo esto, la próxima vez que vayamos a Río ya tenemos elegido el lugar de nuestra estadía. ¡Esperamos que sea pronto!

Jun 27, 2019Staying at Rodrigo's place was amazing !!! First off, it's in between two of the cities most major beaches (Copacabana - 5 min walk) and (Ipanema - 10 min walk). The living space is great. There is nice sized bed with comfy sheets and pillows. A great air conditioner that can have the whole apartment cool in a few minutes. A smart TV with easy access to Netflix and Youtube. An ironing board and iron are on hand. Also a convenient tea and coffee maker. The refrigerator has a filtered water pitcher you can use. The bathroom is also good with a nice shower that can have hot water in the switch of a button. I am an adventurer and I went to many of the cities museums, surfing, mountain climbing and exploring in general. I suggest uber as the best way to get around. Rodrigo's central location makes this perfect. The most expensive uber I paid for was from the airport. This came up to 45 reals which is equivalent to about $15 dollars (Not bad). The place in itself, its popular surroundings and central location was great, but so was Rodrigo. He was so helpful with the pdf emails he sent out about the apartment and the popular destinations nearby. He also has a handy map in the apartment that shows you these destinations if you want a more hands on approach. Also, although Rodrigo was at work he always responded to my messages fast, like when I could not find the iron, or spare towels in the apartment. Not to mention my flight arrived at 10 in the morning and Rodrigo let me check in early so I did not have to wait until 3pm. Overall Rodrigo was a great host and I truly enjoyed my stay at his home. I would recommend anyone to Rodrigo's place if they want to have a great stay in Rio.
Jun 27, 2019Nos hospedamos 9 días y nuestra estadía fue realmente inmejorable. La descripción del departamento es tal cual es. Es cómodo y muy agradable, está decorado de una manera muy linda y está muy bien equipado. La ubicación es perfecta para aquellos que no se deciden entre copacabana e ipanema ya que ambas playas están cerca (recomiendo ipanema). Rodrigo fue muy amable y atento en todo momento y nos brindó información local muy util. Fue un placer. Lo super recomendamos!
Jun 27, 2019Quiero contarles que el studio de Roddy es GENIAL, cada rincón y cada detalle del mismo hacen una estadia maravillosa. Cuenta con todo lo necesario y más, para pasar unos hermosos días .En mi caso estuvimos en el depto 8 días y realmente fueron inolvidables, cuesta dejar ese lugar en donde nos sentimos como en nuestra casa ...Además tiene muy buena ubicación ,cerca de la playa y el metro.En relacion a Roddy es un excelente anfitrión siempre atento y predispuesto.Nos encanto el presente que nos dejo arriba de la cama (galea de banana) Riquísima!!!!Obviamente lo recomiendoo y les asegurooo que no se arrepentiran de elegirlo.Espero volver pronto!!!!!!!
Jun 27, 2019This was the fourth time I’ve stayed at Ridrigo’s place. It’s a great, cheerful, clean place in a super-quiet building in the best location in Rio. The apartment is located midway between Copacabana and Ipanema; close to both beaches, tons of restaurants and shopping, in a beautiful neighborhood of tree-lined streets. You can’t beat Rodrigo’s place for location, ambiance, and convenience. He’s a very friendly, completely reliable guy. The apartment is very safe with a doorman, combination door lock (no keys to keep up with) and a safe. It’s also got everything you need as far as cooking is concerned. More things I like about the place; high ceilings, great urban view, Netflix, close grocery store.
Jun 27, 2019Great location—close to the beach, and the breakfast at the grocery store nearby was easy and affordable. I didn’t get to use the longboards but a cool bonus! The bed was comfortable, the building was quiet, plenty of light, and everything was very clean. Rodrigo was quick to reply when I had a question. The only thing I would’ve liked is a better water filter...otherwise was above and beyond my expectations. Thank you Rodrigo!
Jun 27, 2019This was the fifth time I’ve stayed at Rodrigo’s place. As usual, everything was perfect. Rodrigo was always super helpful, available, and eager to please. The location is perfect, in between Copacabana and Ipanema, close to beaches, restaurants, groceries, and bars. The apartment has a cheerful, airy vibe with an expansive urban view. It’s quiet and peaceful day and night, so sleeping in or napping is never a problem. I highly recommend Rodrigo’s apartment. I stay here every time I come to Rio.

Jun 27, 2019The location really is perfect!! There was a great food place just a block up that we ate at almost everyday and grocery store nearby! Even a place right across the street to load data on to our phones when ever we needed
