- Guests other than the prearranged and confirmed are not allowed on property ($200 penalty per person per day, excluding damages). - Lost key will incur a $300 replacement fee. - Late checkout will incur a $30 per hour fee, unless arranged before booking. - Strictly no smoking in all areas of the premises (including balcony). A breach of this will incur a fee of $500. - Tempering with the security monitoring device will incur a $500 fee. - Failure to keep the shared area (kitchen, living and dinning room) clean and tidy throughout your stay will incur a $50 fee per day. - No shoes on the carpet area, a breach of this will incur a $50 cleaning fee.

Jun 27, 2019Friendly hosts, clean and well appointed apartment. soundproofed from traffic ten floors below, comfortable beds, shampoo, conditioner and body wash products in the bathroom, good strong stream shower. Good view of part of Sydney from the windows, handy access to bus and train.

Jun 27, 2019Tim and Mel’s place is as lovely as it looks; even better, should I say, when you consider their hospitality and thoughtfulness. They truly put themselves in their guests’ shoes and do their best to accomodate to your preferences (within limit, of course). I had a delightful time staying at their residence, which was very close to the Green Square train station, and I would highly recommend their place to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable and convenient place to stay!

Jun 27, 2019Perfectly located less than 100 meters from Green Square Train Station (one stop away from Central) this place is just as beautiful as the photos. Very, very clean and Tim and Mel are so kind and easy to chat with. They also give you your own space if that’s what you like. I had a lovely gift basket of muesli bars and crisps on the bed when I arrived. The whole area is brand new, and buildings are still going up, so there’s a bit of construction going on around the place (Sept 2018), however, it didn’t ruin my stay. The apartment building Tim and Mel’s place is in is very beautiful - quiet too! Local tips: I’d recommend popping into Textbook Boulangerie which is about 200m away - amazing French Pastries. Grounds of Alexandria isn’t far either - hip cafe/coffee options. The new library is worth popping into as well - it’s quite a spectacle at night. Woolworths is virtually on your doorstep too. Thanks for a great stay!

The place was clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Tim was a great host and communication was a breeze. Will definitely stay again.

Amenities exceeded my expectations. Felt thoroughly safe with lockable door, secure entrance and internal monitoring by hosts.

Jun 27, 2019Although I am fairly familiar with Sydney as it wasn’t my first visit; Tim & Mel’s Place was a great place to be. The apartment is very close to the airport and the train station (walkable distance) which was a big plus for me, easy to travel in between central and explore the best parts of Sydney. Proximity to airport via train was also very convenient. The apartment was very clean and tidy, Tim was very easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend a stay over Tim & Mel’s place if travelling Sydney :)

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Tim & Mel’s for 4 nights. The place was spotless and well located near Green Square station. Check in was very easy and the hosts were quick to respond when contacted. We initially had a slight issue with the camera in the living area and where it was placed. After discussing this with Tim & Mel they agreed to move it to a more agreeable place within the room. We’d like to add that we were happy with the host’s response. All in all, a very good stay in a well located apartment.

The place they have is so clean and new and stylish, and the best part is the location which is just few mins walk away to an underground train station which connects directly to CBD in just a few stops. They also provided us with snacks in the room which was a very thoughtful gesture and they also allow us to use the dryer and washer which was handy for us after we have traveled outside for a few days. Just a little drawback to the apartment is the construction on going at the opposite building which stop late at night and starts around 7 am in the morning, which Tim provided us ear plugs for. Not an issue for us, as we are quite an early riser. Overall, is a very good stay at Tim and Mel's place! If i were to come back to Sydney, I will definitely be back to stay with them!

I would recommend anyone staying in Sydney to stay with Tim and Mel. They offered tips for local places and were extremely welcoming and accommodating.

Thoughtful touches like providing ear-plugs to combat the noise from overnight road works and letting us leave suitcases there for the day after we had checked out were definitely over and above. Highly recommended to business and leisure travellers alike.

Jun 27, 2019Best hospitality ever, love the cleanliness and tidiness of this place. No shoe policy is my way to go in my house, so I appreciate having it in places where I travel to. The place is brand new and well maintained, bed is comfy. Linen soft and clean. I forgot my converter for the outlet and they had two available! Life savers! I would define you highly recommend it to anybody!

Jun 27, 2019First of all, the location was very nice. (Walk 3-4 minutes from Green Square Station or bus stop) The cleanliness of the room, living room, and bathroom were also very satisfactory. There were washing machines and dryers, so it was convenient. the check-in process was satisfactory. Above all, Tim was very kind. If I visit Sydney again, I want to stay here.
